Reuters' caption:
Kashmiri protesters shout slogans against British author Salman Rushdie and Britain during a protest in Srinagar June 22, 2007. Indian police in Srinagar used tear gas on Friday to disperse Kashmiri protesters who were denouncing a British knighthood for Rushdie, whose novel "Satanic Verses" outraged Muslims worldwide.

Re: Islamic Rage Boy returns!
Appeals to emotion, to pity, to force: arguments ad populum, ad misericordiam, argument ad baculum(force or its threat) . These are among the fallacies of reason and the consistent use of fallacies will create a mind that can't think logically. There are many fallacies ("begging the question", e.g.) and they are all obstructions to creative thought. Many Muslims habitually practice these fallacies. It has to be something systemic in Islam, something in the belief-system that causes them to do that.
Anyone can learn how to think logically by studying the laws of logic and the fallacies of thought/reason. Anyone can learn these and use their intellect to the best of their God given ability. Nothing is impossible. Even Islamic Rage Boy may rise from this demented state of mind that is reflected in his face, in his behavior.

It is absolutely shameful (and sinful) for a person to engage in such demented behavior. Islam, as Hugh has said, is a very unpleasant belief-system. It's ugly. It produces demented behavior based on Quran thumping lunatics.

Interview of Nazir Ahmed in the French paper LE FIGARO.
Ahmed is the first muslim of UK honored with knighthood in 1998.
Ahmed is of course calling for the withdraw of the knighthood, adding :
"The West should wonder if he can promote dialogue with muslims and in the same time promote the "Satanic verses"
Translation : the West should wonder if he can have accept islam AND democracy in the same time.
According to Ahmed, obviously not.

his father, his uncle:
Actually rage boy's appearance again is too strange, too coincidental. Is this not as fraudulant as the doctored pictures of exagerrated smoke over Lebanon City (Bierut) in Isreal's last clash with Hezbollah? Does Rueters use rage boy as stock photography and whip it out every time there is a middle east protest they want to write about? This appears to be fraudulant journalism of the same degree. Where is the MSM on this?

I'd love to hear more about this lad. Like, what does he do when he's not protesting? I'm sure he turns to the west 5 times a day, but what about the rest of the time?
He could be like Mahir "I kiss you" Cagri, and come to the U.S. talk show circuit. Then cut an exercise video called "Rage Away The Flab," a halal workout with, of course, no music.

No wonder these people are into the arranged/forced marriage deals - no way this guy could ever get a woman his own in a free "market" for affection. Unless of course he paid through his ample nose, and I imagine even in that case the "ladies" would up the rates the minute they saw this prize approaching. I wonder if he would demand the execution of the only woman who would ever touch him? Probably - after all, there's always those cute goats....

Vietnam president signs a trade pact with the US.
GEE, did any of you ordinary Joes tell your representatives in Washington that you wanted them to send our jobs to Vietnam?
Vietnam, (China is outsourcing there too now), China, Mexico.
Seems corporate America can line its pockets and the rest of us can go to hell.
Ahh, but there are more jobs being created - according to Washington. Yeah, CRAP jobs. Jobs that pay crap and have no benefits and no security. Man, don't you just want to line up and get a couple of them so you can just make ends meet? Sounds lovely huh?
Still, corporate ceo and his washington puppets will be able to line their pockets nicely and the stock market will soar! Yipee!
When we all get too poor to eat and have to work 2 crap jobs EACH to pay for medical insurance, high deductables, gasoline, food, etc., we can all thank our caring 'patriotic' representatives in Washington.
Of course, they won't bother to take our calls but they WILL send us nicely written standard emails thanking us for our comments.

A Retard, folks! From the Land of Retards.
It's a fact:
"The environmental situation in Pakistan is worse than that depicted for the earth as a whole. It may be pertinent to quote from the Economic Survey 2001-02 issued by the Government of Pakistan: "A study by the Pakistan Medical Association indicates that the growth in traffic and dirty fuels have already had an adverse impact. In Pakistan, sulphur in diesel and furnace oil is one per cent and three per cent as compared to 0.05 - 0.5 and 0.5 - 1.0 per cent for other countries of the region, respectively.
"The lead in gasoline in Pakistan is 0.35 grams per litre while the average for other countries in the region is 0.15 grams per litre. Thus the blood-lead levels for children in Karachi, Islamabad and Peshawar are 36.9, 22.3 and 19.0 microgram per decilitre respectively, which are considerably higher than acceptable levels of 15 micrograms per decilitre. The blood-lead levels of traffic constables in Karachi are over three times and even those of adults twice than that of acceptable levels."
"Higher lead-levels do not only lead to stunted growth but also cause mental retardation. It is obvious that it reduces immunity in the body and leads to several diseases.

Hey Goobs and all;
Here’s a suggestion; your Senators each have regional offices, probably in a town near you. We give them money to pay a guy to be a ‘Regional Representative’ or some other title. They make ~$35k per year, the salaries are public information.
Anyway, they sit in their offices with the task of dealing with constituents. Learn the name of the office’s Regional Representative, you can get it from the internet. If you call ahead and request a meeting to hand deliver a letter, they always agree to it in my experience.
My technique is to hold the letter in my lap and ask a polite question such as ‘What is the Senator’s view of the immigration debate?’ or ‘Please explain the Senator’s view on Islam?’ Then sit back and enjoy the show. I enjoy watching the Representative’s eyes.
Then share your opinions and hand over the letter. Always follow up in a week with a phone call to establish a personal bond. I delivered cup cakes after the vote against Cloture. When the form letter shows up in a month addressing none of the issues you raise, write a response and deliver it to the same Representative. Look him in the eye and ask about the issues and why the Senator did not address them.
The whole process probably takes a grand total of two hours per Senator, and is fun and therapeutic.

So let me understand your reasoning here progressive. Say that I, a citizen of the United States put a fatwa on the head of "Rage Boy" - a citizen of Pakistan - and moreover I offer a bounty for someone over there to behead him - then if you objected to my doing that - that would make YOU just like me. Don't judge a book by it's cover. Robert Spencer fancies whiskers but don't confuse him with this Kashmiri retard.
Mr. Robert Spencer was born to save the world. This kashmiri retard was born to destroy the world in keeping with the cult of hatred known as Islam, which, if it is not banned, destroyed or ridiculed out of existence, just might destroy the world.

The Islamic Rage Boy face is kinda the way I imagine Muhammad must have looked when he realized that he’d better high tail it out of Mecca after realizing the Meccans weren’t buying his snake-oil after unsuccessfully trying to explain that those verses recognizing the pagan gods were really dictated by Satan, not Allah as he originally claimed.
Or it could have been the way Muhammad looked screaming at his frightened wives that Allah had given his blessing for the continued humping of that cute little Coptic slave girl that he promised one of his wives, Jafsah, the one who caught him, that he wouldn’t hump. Allah had even said his rebellious wives could be divorced and replaced with more agreeable ones if they didn’t shut up (Koran 66:1-6).
But Muhammad was forgiving and of course the wives, along with the rest of his submitted minions, bought his Allah intercession story completely.

This is the face that the muhammadan shows Jehovah, the Living God, Our Heavenly Father. That is, when the muhammadan is not kissing the dirt and showing his ass to God.
How angry will this muhammadan clown be when he faces his Maker and realizes that he's been hoodwinked into brown-nosing Satan all his life and nothing but fire of Hell now awaits?

Can anyone here PLEASE explain to me why have there been so much protest about the book, "The Satanic Verses" ? It has always been a mystery for me for years why the Muslims go balistic, IMHO, making fools of themselves again to the rest of the world. But then again, it exposes them for what they truly are, members of the longest running and most dangerous cult.
Thank-you in advance for all the responses.

bigcatgirl13106,
Muslims go ballistic over The Satanic Verses, because Muslims have absolutely no sense of humor. (Which is why Naseem and other resident trolls aren't funny, even when they try to be.)
Nor do they approve of literary fiction. Of these two, I'm personally more concerned about the lack of a sense of humor. People like that are dangerous; I don't care which Higher Power they place their faith in.
The Satanic Verses is funny as hell, in some places, and surreal in others. It's a very imaginative work, and Muslims don't approve of imagination.
It's irreverent, and Muslims don't care for irreverence--won't tolerate it, in fact. I don't remember any irreverence directed at Allah (though there might have been some). Much worse, Rushdie has the monumental gall to make fun of Muhammad! Unthinkable! Unacceptable.
I recommend the book as a fun, quirky read. Hell, I may have to go back and re-read it, with all of this hullabaloo. Or, at the very least, stroll around with a copy tucked conspicuously under my arm...
