And why is that? Authorities should ask who is funding them, who is teaching them, and what in the Islamic texts motivates their activities ("but Islam is a Religion of Peace...").

UP to 3000 young Muslims in Sydney alone are at risk of becoming radicalised by fundamentalist Islam as community leaders warn that Australia has become a "prime country" for hardliners pushing extremist ideologies.
Howard government-funded research has also found there are more young Muslims per capita who are vulnerable to the influence of radical Islam in Australia than in any other western country.
The revelations came as John Howard warned that Australians needed to remain vigilant about the threat of terrorism.
While Australia's security threat level would not be heightened following foiled terrorist attacks in Britain since Friday, the Prime Minister criticised those who sought to play down or dismiss the danger of an attack on home soil.
"What is happening in Great Britain is a reminder to all of us that, despite all the talk on occasions from some that the threat of terrorism is exaggerated in our society, it is not, and we must remain vigilant," he said.
"It is just a reminder again that we can't rest, we have to remain vigilant."
The federal Government's project looking into the radicalisation of young Muslims is headed by a former member of Mr Howard's Islamic advisory board, Mustapha Kara-Ali, who yesterday warned that Australia's mainstream community should not take comfort in the fact that a terrorist attack has not yet been carried out on our shores.
He praised the efforts of national security agencies in arresting 22 alleged Melbourne- and Sydney-based terrorism suspects in November 2005.
"We're finding out that per capita we've got a huge number of young Muslims (vulnerable to radicalisation) compared to other countries where there's a bigger community but yet relatively the same number of extremist youth," he said.
Mr Kara-Ali - who was given a $200,000 grant by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship in June last year to investigate the radicalisation of young Muslims in Sydney's southwest - told The Australian there were up to 3000 young Sunni Muslim in that region of the state who were part of "ideological sleeper cells" on the brink of becoming radicalised.
"I believe in Sydney alone there's about 2000 and 3000 young Muslims vulnerable to being radicalised," he said.
"There are ideological sleeper cells waiting to be completely radicalised. Because radicalisation ... is to act upon your extremist teachings." Mr Howard said September's APEC summit in Sydney and the World Youth Day next July would have the "inconvenience" of appropriate security, but altering or cancelling the events would be a victory for terrorists.
Opposition Leader Kevin Rudd yesterday called on Mr Howard to implement a recommendation in the 2005 Wheeler report regarding the screening of cargo on passenger flights after two men tried to drive a blazing Jeep through the doors of the Glasgow airport terminal on the weekend.
"Terrorism represents a threat to all civilised countries including Britain, including Australia, and therefore it is incumbent upon Australia to make sure that all practical measures are in place when it comes to dealing with any terrorist threat on our shores," he said.

The Christian land robbers in australia, who marginalized the Aborigines and pushed them out to settle are now complaining about the proliferation of Muslims. Australia is home to only 30 million Christian land robbers, so if my estimation is accurate, and the muslims keep up the birth rate at its current level, they will have overtaken the christian land robbers by 2018. And by then, democratically, they can hold a refurundum to change the constitution of the land, give the land rights to the Aborigines, and control the military and intitute islamic law.

It sounds as if they've identified 2000-3000 "ideological" "extremists" who are waiting for the go-ahead to commit jihad ("radicalization").
Belonging to a "sleeper cell" sounds pretty radical to me, ideologicalized, radicalized or otherwise.

Both are potentially lethal.
Best to contain and return believing Mohammedans to "Islamic Lands" until the Koran is reformed of its calls to terrorism.

progressive - please tell me that you are not unaware of the fact that Muslims shot out of Saudi Arabia in the 7th century and conquered half the known world, through the sword, for Islam. That means, by your Muslim logic, that the Christian "crusaders" would have every justification to retake most of the middle east as well as north Africa after you Muslims illegally snatched it. Is that really where you want to go with your lunatic rantings?

You do realize that Aussie natives being animists and all that, are considered less than human by Muslims and hence fair game for murder and rapine as shown in Sudan. Even Jews and Christians don't rate as low as a animist.
Put another way, THERE ARE NO ANIMISTS in any Islamic ruled country.

Thank you Shiva - despite the effort it may take to reorganize your blog, I wouldn't recommend the effort if I didn't seriously value what you have to offer. I will reiterate - I love your blog. Your pictures speak a thousand words and what you uniquely offer to the anti-jihad cause is invaluable. I look forward to being able to locate the images I am seeking and I really believe that others will do the same once they know where to look. Thanks for all your obviously hard work Shiva!

Dear waitc and caroline: thank you for your lucid responses to the Troll's remarks. You took the words right out of my mouth.
However, I'll add my own comments. Bat Ye'or makes it quite plain in her writings that only Muslims got to own land in conquered territory. ALL the previous inhabitants automatically lost the right to own land, unless they became Muslims. Many native Australians are Christians and would NOT convert to Islam; many are either modern non-religious or else practise their traditional animist beliefs. If Islam took over Australia - perish the thought!! - the Aboriginal Christians would get the 'convert or be enslaved' option, like us non-indigenous Christians. The nonbelievers and the animists would get the 'convert or die' option. Either way, they'd lose their land. And Darfur shows us exactly how Islam - Arab imperialism rationalised - treats blacks, even blacks who are Muslim. Black = slave, in Arabic.
Because I don't see them choosing Islam, not if they knew what it's really all about. Sharia is utterly incompatible with indigenous Australian culture, whether traditional or contemporary, since indigenous Australian culture is saturated with some of the most glorious visual art on this planet, together with a HUGE music, theatre and dance tradition (check out 'Bran Nue Dae'; google 'Jimmy Little', 'Banggarra Dance Theatre', Stephen Page, Rhoda Roberts, Deborah Cheetham, Harold Blair, Leah Purcell, David Gulpilil...the list goes on). Indigenous art often realistically represents humans, animals, AND ...spirit beings. Purest JAHILIYYA.
And as for 'uncovered meats' - in traditional times, pre-1788, native Australians, men and women, for the most part normally went completely naked (e.g. see film, 'Ten Canoes'). At the Olympic Games 2000 opening ceremony in Sydney, women from the Arrernte tribe danced a traditional Seven Sisters ceremonial dance - with BARE BREASTS!!!! Modern-day koori and murri girls like their bikinis, their tank tops and shorts, their slinky evening dresses, just as much as their white sisters do.
I think, on balance, that native Australians are much better off sticking with us Christian and secular Anglo/Celt whitefellas, whom they have found to be quite educable and capable of learning from our mistakes and owning up to our past sins and making amends; rather than getting themselves suckered and ripped off by Muslim imperialism which is utterly without conscience and has never repented of any of its past sins and has no intention of ever doing so, either.
Shoutout to any indigenous Australian reading this: those slick, smiling Muslims you meet, the ones offering all kinds of things...in their heart of hearts they most likely see you as nothing more than a black slave to their lordly superior selves. Islam ran the slave trade in Africa for centuries before Europe ever got involved. Islam never gave up slavery. Islam has never condemned slavery. There was never a Muslim anti-slavery movement; there was never a Muslim equivalent to William Wilberforce. And dhimmitude (what happens to non-Muslim people in a Muslim land) is a vicious, cruel, systematic religious apartheid - worse than S African apartheid, worse than the Jim Crow laws of the Deep South, worse than being 'Under the Act'.
You thought the British Empire was bad. For you, it was. But if Islam takes over Australia - perish the thought!!! - Islam will be ten thousand times worse. Look at what is happening to the Melanesian tribes in 'West Papua' under Muslim Indonesian rule.

Solution: Send them south of the border to Dhimmi Brack's wonderful Sharia state of Victoria. There they can get rich on the proceeds of persecuting Christian men who still speak out against Islam. I'm sure Victoria's "progressive" leadership will welcome them with open arms.
What's happened to this country?, our leaders are fools or traitors, quite possibly both.

Honestly! In Australia, they have deserts where if your car breaks down, it could be DAYS before anyone comes along to help you.
Take these 'radicalised youths' out to the middle of the desert and drop them off with a beer and ham sandwich.

progressive - a lot of the so-called 'land robbers' were forcibly brought to Australia for crimes in England (i.e. stealing bread to feed their kids, etc.)
