Q. Why would CAIR not sue Jihad Watch directly?
A. Because CAIR is full of shit. Empty and useless threats. Saudi money can buy the unflinching loyalty of three U.S. presidents, but can't fund an honest advocacy group? JW would, could and should countersue, open the books on these windbags and discredit CAIR once and for all.

You presented the facts, the truth on CAIR and the Islamist agenda here.
You're a very brave person to stand up to this hideous and voilent ideology that is spreading like a cancer worldwide. It's a 1400 year old cancer that has swallowed so many cultures and even empires. Now it has spread to our shores.
I must admit, I am very pessamistic on the West's ability to awaken from their PC stupor and denial in time ... so many I talk to do not want to hear about it. I'm an "alarmist" and a "racist" and many other labels I've been hit with, when trying to inform others on what's happening worldwide with Islam, and this is from the rank and file average Joes I meet, so excuse me for not being more optimistic on this. I hope I'm wrong.

The sound was a little difficult. This is typical of sound recorded from a stage. I dont think thats anything that RS can fix.
The speech was right on, and without hate or bigotry, or threats. As Jack Web used to say 'Just the facts maam'. Facts...Thanks Robert.
JW/DW may very well be the downfall of CAIR. Usually they bully those they think they can bully. CAIR made a huge mistake in bullying RS, and JW/DW. The counter punch has already been delivered. The follow-up blows are on thier way. CAIR will be factually, legally, and intellectually defeated, as will Islam...

I have a hunch Ibby Hooper has read Mien Kampf. CAIR is using Hitler's "Spiritual terror" method against Robert and others. Hitler writes here of what he learned about propaganda and methods of silencing opponents when he lived in Vienna (when he was a homeless person-LOL). Maybe Ibby Hooper will write "Mein Jihad" and tell us how much he learned from Hitler.

I would not elaborate on my perception of Ibby Hooper. As Cal Coolidge once said, "I never got in trouble for something I didn't say". Ibby is the stuff of Brownshirts. He has grasped Hitler's methods in Mien Kampf. Bet on it.

Yes. He did (he admired the Leftist Mayor of Vienna for these methods). Hitler was a bad man, but his insights into propaganda and his suggested methods to use in order to intimidate and silence criticism/opposition are brilliant. I detect a lot of Hitler's methods with Jihadist enablers like CAIR-and I also detect they are being used by the extreme political left in America. This guy Hitler is going to be around for a long time.
The political right in America (unlike Europe) tends to be very individualistic and cold to totalitarian systems. But the right in America had better take notice of Hitler's methods to counter them.

Out of curiosity, regarding that deleted comment that CAIR 'just happened' to capture and use on CNN . . .do you still have access to the IP information?
I'm not sure that I'm using the correct term, but Rusty and his team over at JAWA enjoy tracking these things and manage to create quite a headache for global jihadis. Perhaps posting the details can reveal a bit of info about the source - as well as any potential connection to CAIR and Ibrahim Hooper.

It was heartening to see all those young, eager minds, listening to someone as learned and respected as Robert. They will remember their week in Washington and this speech was no doubt the highlight.
In this group of of young, intelligent, ambitious young people there are likely to be a few future politicians. They are all searching for the information that will help them understand the political landscape to get a better grasp of the issues of the day. In their desire for some information, they could have, being eager and perhaps a bit naive, even invited Ibrahim Hooper to tell them all about the right way to understand Islam, and not to worry, we all want the same thing.
But because people like Robert shed the light of truth on CAIR, they and their agenda, have been exposed, and will hopefully receieve less opportunities to speak before the uninformed but all to willing to learn about Islam.
I know it has been posted here before, but mention of the fact that law enforcement agencies, including the FBI receives sensitivity training from CAIR, is more troubling now than ever before. There should less of this CAIR interaction nonsense with those agencies and anything we in the blogosphere can do to stop it should be done. If anyone learns of such propoased interaction perhaps a post abost it here can draw the right attention to it and maybe that nonsense can be stopped.

I could not agree more. It is not a theory, it is an actuality. But it is experiential. Those who have not had the experience, are usually dis-believing or at least skeptical.
That will all go over yer average muslims head, some infidels as well.
I dont remember anything in the Quran, or Mohammads example where 'light and love' were recommended states of consciousness for muslims.
Allah removes the individuals magikal powers from the submitter. If they are going to create any magikal situations at all, they cant get them from light and love, so they must go to the otherside. Hate and darkness. Thats where Allah lives. In the dark caverns below Malkuth, The Qliphoth, where Satanic power is created. This is why so many muslims express themselves by dark thoughts and deeds...they have been cut off from light, and love, for them it does not exist beyond Allah and Islam. These are not the people to have running the world, and dictating the terms of our existance...as you said, 'Kiss my Wiccan azz'. Count the Asatrurs among those who will NOT bow down to the Musselmen (this name drives the RoPers nuts!). While tenants of most kindreds & hearths (for the greater part) don't hold one's religion against them, we take a very dim view of those who have repeatedly announced their intentions of killing us because we're Mushrikeen. In other words, we're living under a sentence of death. So, we watch, prepare, stay within legal bounds and if attacked, are most grateful that we live in a country where we're LEGALLY allowed to exercise the castle doctrine. I agree with those who call Robert an American Hero. The speech to YAF was fantastic, as expected.
QUICK FIX for viewing the videotape. Watch a few seconds of it until the image and sound get all choppy. THEN, just pause it for around 5 minutes. When you return to it and hit play, it should be fine. It was for me, anyways.

My suggestion to the folks at Jihad Watch:
It would be great if there could be a permanent link on the front page of Jihad Watch to the Blip TV page with the video of Robert Spencer's speech.
I'm not a techie (I don't even know how to spell it) so I don't know if I'm asking the impossible.
The speech contains so much solid information about CAIR and some people might find it easier to listen to it than read about it. I think it also gives a nice idea of what Robert Spencer is like in person.
I think it would also be useful if future visitors to Jihad Watch had the opportunity to view it.
