Spencer is very frequently condemned, with criticism that even includes comparison to Joseph Goebbels, the propaganda master of the Nazi party, who demonized and condemned the Jewish people in a campaign to stir up enough public hatred to justify the ethnic cleansing that has come to be known as the Holocaust.

Sutter has been literally stalking readers of my own website. He has libeled me and knows it. I threatened him with a civil suit and he has not had the courage to respond to me.

Sutter is also completely banned from the Anvil -- meaning I have taken steps to make my site quite a challenge for him to even view and I am actively watching for him in any guise or proxy.

The fact that CAIR is using the kooky Jim Sutter as a reference point to try to shut you up, Robert, only lends more credence to all of us that are out here shouting from the rooftops.

The other day I had to make some calls to tech support at Time-Warner/Roadrunner. Wouldn't you know it, but the Anvil was blocked from being viewed at the local office of a RR tech! I'd like to know how Sutter, if he is responsible for this hate campaign (and let there be no doubt that SUTTER IS THE HATER), is not up on hate crime charges and interfering with the 1st Amendment? Apparently all it takes in the USA is to incite fear of Islamic reprisal and corporations and media chains will shut down Free Speech in a "New York minute."

Jim Sutter is a traitor to the United States as far as I'm concerned. He should be up on criminal charges for fraud, hate crimes, identity theft and whatever else a few good FBI agents may find to slap him with.

I know this much -- nothing CAIR or their allies like Jim Sutter can do will ever stop me from speaking out, and they won't stop Robert Spencer or Jihad Watch either. Now, if the police or FBI show up to the homes of Anti-Jihad bloggers and authors and cart them away on "hate crime" charges one day, I just hope that everyone reading here aware of what the ramifications of such actions will be. We'd be talking about a split Union -- a damn civil war in the making.

I think it's high time that some law firms started standing up for the rights of this circle of bloggers. And I mean make some serious legal trouble for CAIR and the Jim Sutters of the world. Sue them into oblivion. Sue them until they run back into their caves.

I have to say that I believe you have been far too kind as well as too narrowly focused in your attacks on CAIR. Thank you for exposing CAIR to be what they are: a front for the Muslim Brotherhood and HAMAS in the United States. But isn't it now time to start going after some of the networks CNN, FOX, MSNBC and other media who continue to have CAIR spokesmen appear on their programs as the representatives of Muslims in America? These people have known links to terrorist organizations and clearly believe in spreading Sharia to the US yet everytime I turn on the TV I see some idiot talking head presenting them as civil rights leaders. It's disgusting!

I am not too sure on the laws of US on libel and defamation but I thought the following claim(particularly from the part "using nuclear weapons...onwards) on Jim Sutter's site and its publishing with approval at CAIR are grounds for suing them by Robert. This is not a question of opinion but of factual information.

More than ten years ago "Soldier of Fortune" magazine published a series of articles about the many, many men who were fabricating or falsely enhancing their military experiences. There are a lot of these slugs around.

I am not a military veteran, and I deeply respect those who truly are veterans of combat and the dangerous jobs they did. My opinion of these creatures who steal the honor of others can be described as hatred - a word that I am not afraid of in this instance.

Seriously, with all CAIR's print slander proof you have, why not sue them?

I understand that what was written in that blog above cannot be used, but what about the letter from Sutter? And certainly there are other examples, print and media, of CAIR and their representatives slandering your good name, purposely mis-quoting you, assigning quotes to you that are not yours, etc etc. It is painfully obvious they have an agenda against you, and perhaps it's time to call them on it.

I have learned something today. Robert Spencer is not Robert Spencer at all but evil Ernst Stavro Blofitzgerald, cheerleader for Usama bin Laden and a treacherous agent of al Spectre. I was half-prepared for a title such as: SPENCER EATS MUSLIM BABIES.

At least he wasn't accused of being a Jew.

No disrespect intended, but did this 63-page dissertation really take this chap a year to write? A large percentage of it consists of links and pasted text, and he repeats himself ad nauseam. He appears to have discovered the process of logical fallacy and wants to show it off as if it is a badge of honour.

I reckon he knocked this up in a day - unless he really is as dim as he sounds and it did take him a whole year. He cannot even spell 'hypocrisy' and 'viciously' ["hypocricy" and "viscously"]. He claims to have worked his way through 68 drafts yet he clearly has not even bothered to proof-read the final article.

Is this the best person CAIR can find to debunk the 'myths' peddled by Robert Spencer?

I can find little evidence of the exhaustive research to which he alludes. Many of his key 'arguments' consist of bald statements such as 'Spencer hates all Muslims, hates Islam', 'Spencer supports Usama bin Laden', 'Spencer is not a scholar', 'Spencer knows nothing about Islamic law and Islamic history', et al, but cites articles that say no such thing. He accuses Spencer of being biased and having an agenda - the nature of which is never quite clear but possibly has something to do with his Catholicism and bin Laden - and refutes Spencer's claims by citing...partial observers with their own agendas.

Then there are comments that are just absurd. Spencer:

- doesn't realise that there are secular as well as pious Muslims;

- "denies that any other form of terrorism exists in today's world other than Islamist";

- believes that the "gates of jihad [sic] are closed". Huh?

Incidentally, this chappie claims that: "Muslim legal jurisprudence (Shari'a law) is only applicable for Muslim residents of a Muslim country governed completely under pure Shari'a law," says he; and "the only country in the world that operates under pure Shari'a law", he claims, is Iran.

No? So there are no elements of Shari'a in Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, India and Indonesia because they do not operate under "pure Shari'a law"?

Sadly, I shall never be able to reclaim the 90 minutes I spent reading this.

Anyone who reads the articles at Jihad Watch and who has listened to Robert Spencer's Hot Air videos knows that his writing style differs greatly from Hugh Fitzgerald's.

I was told in college that most writers have to struggle to find their own style. It would be extremely unlikely that someone who writes like Robert Spencer could also write like Hugh Fitzgerald, and vice versa.

I'll say it again: if this is the best that CAIR can come up with, it's slim pickins, indeed.

Sutter (the "nutter") accuses Spencer of treason on the grounds that he purportedly "supports" bin laden by agreeing with his interpretation of Orthodox Islamic texts. In other words, according to Sutter, attempting to explain bin Laden's motivation by pointing out the Islamic texts that motivate him - is equivalent to treason because it apparently lends support to bin Laden's way of seeing the world.

But by that reasoning, anyone else who puts forth a theory to explain bin Laden's motivation - if it coincides with an explanation which bin Laden himself adduces for his own actions - is also guilty of treason.

That would mean that anyone who claims that bin laden is motivated by anger against Israel - is taking bin Laden's side and lending credence to his world-view and is hence guilty of treason.

Ditto for those who claim that terrorists are motivated by poverty, or the presence of our troops in the ME, or by western imperialism. By making that claim, they are endorsing the terrorists' world view and hence guilty of treason by the "Reverend's" logic.

Every left-wing professor who tries to explain the motivations of terrorists and seems to sympathize with those motivations, is buttressing the terrorists POV and is therefore guilty of treason.

That is the logical implication of Sutter's insane attempt to twist Spencer's EXPLANATION of terrorists' actions, into treasonous SUPPORT for those actions.

CAIR is hurting but it needs a death blow. If a lawsuit were to materialize because of what they have been saying, this may be just the opportunity.

At least it would weaken CAIR enough that an alternative group could arise, distanced from the jihad elements of Islam and open and honest about the "embarrassing" doctrines of the faith. Oh, and one that speaks the same message to Muslims and non-Muslims alike. Also, they would talk to their critics rather than slander them and try to shut them up. Could they also not threaten to sue so much, particularly when they seldom follow through?

It is only with people like you standing up to these islamofascists that we stand any chance of getting the message across about the threat that islam poses to the world. If only the politicians could stop trying to line their own pockets and take a leaf out of your book then 9/11 in the U.S and 7/7 (and the failed attacks in the UK) would never have happened.

Recently, CAIR, at a major trial in Dallas, was proven to be a part of the HAMAS infrastructure of North America by the FBI (of all people). CAIR's parent, it seems, was the Levant branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.

CAIR and its board of HAMAS terrorists is therefore unlikely to be around much longer at least in its present incarnation. But, Islam will undoubtedly sooner or later find another bunch of thugs to serve us along with their latest acronyms coined in alphabet soup.

But, anyway--

'Hoop' and his band of HAMAS thugs are almost certainly penitentiary-bound. (I can see decades-long sentences making license plates headed their way already!).

So there is little reason to fear this motley bunch of thugs for much longer--if that's any consolation.

why don't we just round them all up and ship them back to Allah land as one blogger wrote! we did that in ww2 so why now? they are a threat to our freedom, lives and our children's future. why are we putting up w/ this crap?!
