Because ISNA, like CAIR, has been named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terror funding case. Why does the mainstream media still treat ISNA and CAIR as moderate groups?

Aug. 8, 2007 - The Justice Department this summer abruptly cancelled a high-profile “Muslim outreach” event featuring Attorney General Alberto Gonzales after discovering that one of the invited guests was an officer of an organization just named as an “unindicted co-conspirator” in a major terrorism case.The scheduled event was slated to take place in the main department auditorium known as the Great Hall of Justice on June 27—with Gonzales billed as the keynote speaker. The program was titled “Securing America: Law Enforcement Partnerships with American Muslim, Arab, Middle Eastern and South Asian Communities,” according to the official invitation, which went out to scores of groups and individuals last spring.
But after the invites went out, aides to Gonzales suddenly became alarmed that it could create a new embarrassment for the embattled attorney general. The reason: one of the featured speakers was a prominent Northern Virginia imam who serves as vice president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), which had just been branded by federal prosecutors in court papers as a U.S. branch of the Muslim Brotherhood—the international movement, based in Egypt, dedicated to the creation of a worldwide Islamic caliphate. ISNA, which has not been charged with any crime, was among more than a hundred organizations and individuals who were listed in late May as “unindicted co-conspirators” in the prosecution of the Holy Land Foundation—the Texas-based group now on trial in Dallas for allegedly conspiring to funnel funds to the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.

Worse, why does the mainstream media still call CAIR a 'civil rights' group? This is the most insidious, pernicious misappropriation possible of an honorable American tradition. It's of a piece with the tactic of tarring any criticism of Islam as racist.
Sickening. Sickening that CAIR presents themselves as such, and even more sickening that their Western enablers run with it.

At least DOJ has enough sense to see the writing on the wall, albeit late as hell.
Better late than never...
as for the MSM continuing to cater to said terrorists, that's simple...georgie "the capo" soros. He owns their politics, their party, and he's firmly allied with the terrorists.
Try freezing HIS "ass"ets, and watch the islamic world go ballistic (which will be a really big clue).

Catchy polemical phrases from online sites like JW/DW et al will eventually infiltrate and steer the MSM "doggies" to a less sycophantic course, because they just can't resist plagiarism or a nifty expression.
I've been trying to get the words "pedophile prophet" popularized as a pithy description of the Muslim "perfect man" Mohammad.
Eventually some infidel newshound will blurt it out.

Just in case anyone out there is following the Maher Arar case where he launched a Lawsuit against Americans for what Jordan did to him .
Nihad Awad from CAIR is on a youtube video
telling the CTV media that he is happy over Arar's $10million dollars for Alleged harm he suffered in Jordan and Syria .
CAIR helped Arar launch a $400'000'000.00 dollar
Lawsuit against Canadians once Arar's suit against Jordan failed in November 2003 , CAIR knew that in the USA you must prove harm but in Canada the onus was on canada to prove it didn't cause the harm to Arar.
The media reports in Canada also implied that Arar had ties to Hamas , Al-Qaeda , terrorism funding and support , and the Muslim Brotherhood
back in Syria before he fled for Canada to avoid mandatory Military duty at 19 , and Arar himself
claimed he lost a potential job at the "Holy land Fund" charity because of the FBI and Canadian media reports of these ties to Jihadist groups.
The Arar inquiry transcripts are on the Government website and they list CAIR as one of the many Islamic groups that had standing to make claims of Islamophobia that lead to Arar being Tortured in his Homeland.
Early this year when the Terrorism links to CAIR was about to be exposed and the Inquiry report was to come out and expose Arar's sorted past that countered many claims by CAIR , Arar quickly told his team of CAIR-friendly Lawyers to settle of out Court and the $400'000'000.00 suddenly became $35'000'000.00 and then within a week it became $20'000'000.00 for the media to report but the Government Lawyers said that the best way to avoid an expensive trial is to offer Arar $10'000'000.00 to shut him up.
He took the cash but CAIR now uses than as proof of guilt and that Arar is innocent of all claims .
CAIR should be dragged back into a Canadian Court and charged with purgery and Fraud with the entent of falsely gaining non-taxable income for an unproven Civil Tort by the State.
Canada should Sue CAIR for the $10'000'000.00 plus damages to Citizens that now fear backlash from Muslims that want revenge for the non-Harm to another Muslim.
It was just after the settlement that CAIR hosted a Victory dinner for Arar in Ottawa and
announced a Donation to the same University where CAIR got their Expert witnesses to testify for Arar's torture and Racial profiling, guests at the Fund-raiser by CAIR included members of the MSA's, CAIR's Dr.Sheema Khan , Dr.Elmasry , and Tarek Fatah along with the usual Politicians
on the left .
I'd like to see CAIR just try to defend Arar in the USA Court system since all this new evidence proves what other have said about CAIR for years now.
Today we see that CAIR boasts about supporting Arar since 2002 , we see the Hamas and terror links for CAIR's members , and even Mr.Awad on video showing a solid tie to Aara and Terror links.

Who needs "muslim outreach" anyway? It is pathetic that our illustrious leaders are always the last to find out about their dubious alliances with radical muslims. Their intrepid vigilance and auspicious intelligence are comforting indeed.
If the attorney general of the United States doesn't know who the leaders of islamic sedition organizations in the U.S. are, I guess he doesn't know what they're up to either. What does he do all day?

DOJ has been a lapdog of CAIR up to now. This is a sign of a glimmer of hope that DOJ might start working for the Infidels who are paying their salary. We will have to wait and see on that. Are they still hiring wahabbi imams for the prisons and passing out Korans for federal prisoners?
