Know Your Enemy: Islam, Jihad and Terrorism

More work for Sandler, Reiff, and Young -- here's a message from my friend Patrick Boylan of the Center for Strategic Analysis:

The Center for Strategic Analysis (CSA), a non-profit educational organization, will be holding an intensive seminar, Know Your Enemy: Islam, Jihad and Terrorism in Las Vegas NV, on August 23, 24, 25, 2007.

The seminar will be conducted by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from our nation's intelligence agencies, counter-terrorism experts, specialists from academia, and individuals with a unique understanding of the "Terrorist mindset" and why they hate us. Our keynote speaker is my friend and colleague Robert Spencer, Director of Jihadwatch.org, author of numerous books on Islam and Jihad, nemesis of CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations).

Seminar registration is $495 (discounts available for a good cause). To register send check or money order to: CSA, P.O Box 60133, Las Vegas, NV 89160, or call 702-866-6466.

For security reasons, the exact location will only be shared with attendees who are fully paid-up and agree not to share the location information with non-attendees. Once attendees have been given details of the seminar there will be no refund for any reason.

We look forward to your feedback after you read our August Terrorism report on our website.

If you have any questions, email pboylan@centerforstrategicanalysis.org or call Patrick Boylan, Executive Director of CSA, at 702.866.6466.

Hopefully they have measures in place to keep the radical Islamists out. I doubt they would actually keep the location secret.

Keep in mind, Vegas is a far different setting than cornell, columbia, berzerkely, boulder, georgetown, etc...durkas don't go where durkas risk backlash, and Nevada's gun laws are almost NIL.

Sounds interesting.

"Individuals with a unique understanding of the terrorist mindset.." I think I can guess at who some of those might be, but I can also understand why a detailed list of speakers isn't being broadcast.

I assume there will be a bookstall...

Have invitations been issued to members of the Sikh, Hindu Indian and Thai Buddhist communities in the U.S.A? Or the Filipino community. Or, going to the top, the Thai ambassador and the Filipino ambassador, since their countries, right now, are up to their necks in jihad?

I will pray for the security arrangements!

Go for it, people. Good luck at the 'wake up call'. I hope you get some good mainstream publicity somehow.

"Nemesis of CAIR" - Perhaps this is how Robert should introduce himself at all events? :)

Isn't it amazing that in the 21st century meetings must be held in secret locations. Sounds like the heydays of Soviet Communism in Russia. That it is necessary should tell you something about the nature of the threat even in Las Vegas.
