This is not the summer of love, and Woodstock is far, far away. This rally is more comparable to Nuremberg in the 1930's.
"Indonesia: Islamic Caliphate to attract 100,000," from AKI:
Jakarta, 10 August (AKI) - More than 100,000 people are expected to attend the world's largest Islamic Caliphate conference to be held in Jakarta on Sunday.According to Hizb ut-Tahrir, the pan-Islamist political party staging the conference, people will come from all over the world to hear speakers from England, Australia, Palestine, Japan and the Sudan.
Abu Bakar Bashir, the controversial leader of Indonesia's Mujahiddin Council, who is committed to transforming Indonesia into an Islamic state will address the conference.
He is the alleged spiritual leader of Jemaah Islamiyah jailed for his role in the 2002 Bali bombings. Considered by many to be the mastermind of the attacks which killed 202 people, Bashir was found guilty of conspiracy, and sentenced to two and a half years imprisonment.
Bashir also has plans to run for president in the 2009 elections. Fauzan Al Anshori, the spokesperson for Majelis Mujahidin Indonesia, explains: Bashir could transform Indonesia from a secular state into an Islamic one. "The law we have was inherited from the Dutch (Indonesia's former colonial power) and is not suited to Muslims."
But not all the Indonesian speakers support the concept of a Caliphate like Hasyim Muzadi, the president of the Indonesian cultural organisation Nadhlatul Ulama, which has an estimated 40 million members.Founded in Lebanon in 1905, Hisb ut-Tahrir is committed to uniting all Muslim countries in a single Islamic state or Caliphate led by a single, elected head of state.
The organisation promotes Shariah law and is openly anti-Zionist supporting the dismantling of Israel.
It has spread its message to more than 40 countries and claims to have more than a million members.

All in one place at one time. Saint Augustine is credited with "Just War" theory whereby infidel war was justified against Moslems on religious grounds. Saint Thomas Aquinas elaborated on Augustine's principles. The time for action against these people on moral and/or religious grounds is long passed. Infidels of the world unite to overthrow the vicious, cruel, ignorant, savage, undemocratic, slaving, barbaric, medieval, psycopathic, intolerant, repressive, sickening, evil, expanding, immoral, infidel phobic, hypocritical, regressive, thieving, marauding, murdering, pedophiliac, imperialistic, plundering caliphate.

Not only In Indonesia but in the UK as well.
The notorious group Hizb ut Tahrir organised a conference entitled “Kilafah” at Alexandra Palace, London on Saturday 4th August.
The stated aim of the conference was
“Liberation of the Muslim Lands from Occupation through the establishment of the Islamic Caliphate State”
Of course, having a caliph will permit the highest Islamic authorities to religiously sanction jihad.
There was an advert for the conference available here.

A worldwide caliphate adhering to Sharia under which all predominantly Muslim countries would function? Now, there's a nightmare scenario if ever I came across one. It would indeed be the extinction of true freedom for billions.

""The law we have was inherited from the Dutch (Indonesia's former colonial power) and is not suited to Muslims."
also not suited to Muslims are:
British Law, American Law, German Law, Canadian Law, and the laws of most Non Muslim countries....
...fight the jihad on NonMuslim law...ban Muslim immigration...

What about the Shi'ite version, the Imamate?
(Since they don't believe in Sunni "Caliphs".)
I smell a new meta-schism.
Caliphate vs. Imamate!
Let the Islamo-bombings begin!
(I'd hate to be the Security for this mess.)

With this kind of mental baggage no follower of Muhammad should ever be allowed to migrate and settle among infidels:
Non-Muslims have “absolutely no right to seize the reins of power in any part of God’s earth nor to direct the collective affairs of human beings according to their own misconceived doctrines.” If they do, “the believers would be under an obligation to do their utmost to dislodge them from political power and to make them live in subservience to the Islamic way of life.” — Syed Abul Ala Maududi, founder of the Pakistani political party Jamaat-e-Islami
——————————-
“allah revealed Islam in order that humanity could be governed according to it. Unbelief is darkness and disorder. So the unbelievers, if they are not suppressed, create disorder. That is why the muslims are responsible for the implementation of allah’s Law on the planet, that humanity may be governed by it, as opposed to corrupt man-made laws. The muslims must make all efforts to establish the religion of allah on the earth”
—Muhammad ‘Abdus Salam Faraj, “Jihad: The Absent Obligation”, p43.
