"In a situation where infidels and their crooks are ruling the world, it is the prime duty of all the Muslims to take arms and crush those who are bent upon crushing the Muslims throughout the world."
By Isambard Wilkinson and Ashraf Ali for the Telegraph (thanks to Davida):
The Taliban has published its first military field manual detailing how to spring ambushes, run spies and conduct an insurgency against coalition forces in Afghanistan. At 144 pages, Military Teachings - for the Preparation of Mujahideen, is a minutely detailed "how to" book on subjects ranging from tactics and weapons to building training camps and spycraft.
The guide, which is similar in its aims to British and American military field manuals, was obtained by The Daily Telegraph from a source in Pakistan who claimed to be close to the Taliban. Its cover bears the image of two crossed swords and the Koran, the arms of the Taliban's ousted government of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
The Qur'an? But don't they know they're hijacking that book of peace?
The book, written in the Pashto language, "will soon be made available to the commanders in Afghanistan as well as its adjacent tribal areas in Pakistan", the source said. He added that copies of the manual had been circulated to the Pakistani tribal area of Bajaur. Its publication highlights the extent of the Taliban's revival six years after it was deposed by a US-led invasion."This is the first of its kind and shows a significant level of organisation," said Brigadier Mahmood Shah, a retired military intelligence officer who was in charge of security in the tribal areas.
Brig Shah said "soft" Pakistani government policy towards the pro-Taliban militants had allowed them to flourish in the lawless ethnic Pashtun tribal areas that straddle the Afghan-Pakistani border....
Its preface sets out the Taliban's justification for war: "In a situation where infidels and their crooks are ruling the world, it is the prime duty of all the Muslims to take arms and crush those who are bent upon crushing the Muslims throughout the world.
"This is the best time to take on the usurpers and occupants of our holy land. They should be killed, slaughtered and destroyed."
It sets out to convince women and children to join the Taliban with verses from the Koran.
"In this situation the children are not bound to seek the permission of their parents; a woman should go to jihad without the permission of her husband, a slave without the permission of his master, a student without the permission of his teacher, could go to jihad. And this is totally applicable in the prevailing situation where the infidels have occupied the land of the Muslims in Afghanistan," it states.
This is in accord with the Islamic legal principle that if a Muslim land is attacked, defensive jihad becomes fard ayn, or obligatory on every believer. Then the manual disposes of the contention that jihad can only legimately be called by the state authority. This is the kind of argument that Islamic spokesmen in the West never address -- and by ignoring it, demonstrate how little they actually do to resist the jihad ideology.
It addresses the question of prosecuting jihad without one's ruler's permission, making a veiled reference to Pakistan's president, Gen Pervez Musharraf, and the Afghan president, Hamid Karzai. "Islam does not allow a person, group or an entity to announce jihad, without the permission of the ruler of the day (Khalifa)." However, it states "if a Khalifa is a puppet of the infidels, then there is no need to seek his permission for jihad."The manual also plays on the heightened Pashtun sense of virility. "Jihad is a man's job. Those lacking qualities of being a man cannot do jihad."
Military students are advised to run spy networks drawn from political prisoners, "criminals, especially murderers", beggars, hairdressers and "international visitors - players, filmmakers, artists etc".
"Is it fair to slaughter enemy spies?" it asks. The answer it gives, perhaps unsurprisingly, is yes.

As always, contradictory doublespeak.
Jihad is the work of men, but the duty of women and children too.
And who decides if the ruler is a puppet of the infidels? I guess any leader who does not actively support the endless jihad qualifies.
What surprises me the most is that one of these mo-rons actually wrote and published a book.

"..convince children and women to join the Tailban."
What? I thought Allah, according to the Tailban, decreed that women were not even supposed to leave their homes. Children to join? I suppose so...sadly, many Muslims don't seem to have a high regard for their children either. If little Ali joins up, that's one less mouth to feed at home. In fact, that might be a reason to send his even younger brother, Syed. And, if both Ali and Syed, ages 10 and 11 get in the way of a roadside bomb, Mom and Pop can always hope that some rich Saudi will send them a martyr's cash reward, and, also, that the same Saudi will send for their daughter, 12 year old Fatima, so that she can go to Saudi Arabia, for slave labor and sexual abuse by the family's 'benefactor.'

The women and children join the Taliban (or Al Qaeda, or Hizbullah, or any other front-end du jour for the Islamic jihad) whether they like it or not: they join it by being used as covers for the Taliban combatants.
Their sacrifice is not in vain, as you and I can see from reading the West's TreasonMedia outlets, where brightly and loudly blare the horror-headlines proclaiming how the NATO forces have carelessly, callously, immorally, inhumanly killed scores of women and children in air raids.
If the media does not correct its moralistic, context-free stance, then in future dire straits there will be no choice but to muzzle it. No more stringers with Arab names, and no more objective-sounding reports from Marxist fifth-columnists who edit Wikipedia entries in their free time.

Since Civilization is built on an unspoken assumption of mutual decency, it is always easy for terrorist sociopaths (jihadis) to "sucker punch" (9/11; suicide bomb) unsuspecting people ...at least once.
Which is why Osama and his homicidal henchmen need to be destroyed as quickly as possible after they strike, because they will always and only be planning to hit us from a different, "unsuspected" angle if they survive.
Civilization has an infinite number of such open angles. Since its meaning is freedom.
Only a prison is "secure" from such savagery.
And the trade for such security is too high a price.
Cheaper to crush the Jihad than our own liberties.

I wonder how the diagrams look if they could not get round the prohibition on drawing living things and other images?
"Every image maker is in the fire. For each image he made, a being will be fashioned to torment him in Hell" Bukhari 5954
For that matter, I wonder how they deal with the map problem? Is not a map an image of the earth...a creation of Allah?
How do they deal with construction drawings? Surely that is "aspiring to create like Allah" Bukhari 5954 again
Just another aspect of Islamic incompatibility with ordinary life I suppose.

In a related matter, does anyone have a copy of "The Excellent Summary of the Rules of the Art of Kidnapping Americans"?
Cannot seem to find one on-line.
If someone would kindly post it and make it available, some of us would be interested in reading it. At least I would.
Thanks.

Peterborough-
Islam's rules (iconoclasm, etc.) can be broken if they aid the Jihad.
Drinking alcohol to fool the infidels (Mohammad Atta) are drawing "representational" images to assist in overthrown the kaffirs (diagrams, videos) etc., are provisionally allowed.
To be re-forbidden by the Caliphate once the infidel states are overthrown.

".....a slave without the permission of his master" - they don't even realise that this quotation shows them up for the cultural throwbacks that they are. That Arab feminist was right: it's not a clash of civilisations: it's a war of the middle ages against the twenty-first century - and one of the more uncivilised aspects of the middle ages, at that.

wallyUK, are you referring to Dr. Wafa Sultan (Syrian-born). She DID say it's a "clash of civilizations."

"War is deceit." said the pedophile prophet.
"War is hell", said General W.T. Sherman- and it's way past time we demonstrated that fact in all it's glory to the enemy.

Funny...you can find the same info in academia here in the states, too.

The Administration's current "War is heck" campaign isn't working too well, globally.
Lincoln knew what the stakes were.
The current crop of pandering politicos haven't got the instincts for this kind of conflict.
If we do not wage war hellishly, the enemy will.
