New Hamas cartoon features Lion King lookalike

"Hamas' new cartoon hero," from the Associated Press:

After killing off its Mickey Mouse look-alike, Hamas has turned to another Disney character - televising a cartoon with a "Lion King" wannabe to portray the Islamic group's victory in the Gaza Strip over the Fatah movement.
The cartoon depicts Fatah members as sneaky rats, brandishing guns and being showered with U.S. dollars, while Hamas is portrayed as a confident, calm lion that resembles Simba in the 1994 Walt Disney Co. Movie "The Lion King."
The five-minute video, titled "A message to the criminal gangs in the occupied West Bank," is the second production of the Hamas-run al-Aqsa TV enlisting a famous Disney character.
"Circle of Life," it ain't:
In May, Hamas TV used a Mickey Mouse knockoff to preach Islamic domination to children. After an uproar among Israelis and Palestinians, that character was killed off and his weekly show replaced.
Hazem Sharawi, an executive with Hamas TV, said the cartoon of the lion vanquishing the rats was broadcast Thursday but quickly pulled off the air for revisions. He said it was "flashed" For one day to counter what he called anti-Hamas propaganda coming from Fatah in the West Bank.
The cartoon also was posted on the website of the Middle East Media Research Institute, a Washington-based group that monitors the Arabic media.
'Viewers loved it'
The piece shows rats trampling over Gaza, burning houses, stepping over homes, uprooting trees, firing at mosques and desecrating the Quran, Islam's holy book.
Their leader is clearly a portrayal of Fatah's former Gaza strongman, Mohammed Dahlan, who has fled Gaza. Wearing a tie and smoking a cigar, the chief rat grabs a microphone and tells the crowd: "Move back and let Hamas shoot me." Dahlan made that comment during the showdown with Hamas, and his voice is dubbed into the scene.
Throughout the video, the lion silently watches the rats, preparing his claws and shaking his mane. When he pounces, the rats flee in terror as he knocks them about with his claws. Injured and limping rats then say: "Off to the West Bank."

Watching this, I had no idea who the hero was and who the villain (just as Hamas vs Fatah is like an Alien vs Predator conflict). Also, I thought that al Aqsa ultimately reports to Fatah, unless Hamas happens to have captured al Aqsa TV. Also, the lion at one point seemed to be Israel, perched as they were between West Bank and Gaza. Similarly, I thought that the rats were the Jews - as depicted in the Quran 2:65?

The other interesting point was that in the original Lion King, Simba fought Mufasa, rather than inferior creatures. This lion here thinks nothing about taking on rats. Also, this lion is okay with internecine Pali fighting, but once something happens to the dome of al Aqsa, all hell breaks loose.

Perfect sense of priorities!

The truth is that without other peoples/cultures ideas these islamists have nothing, know nothing, contribute nothing. It just goes to show that their ultimate leader is a big fat nothing capable of zero compared to any others, even Disney has them beat, hands down.
That rat is speedy alaqsa, de fastest rat in all of paeleostine.

haha Man, I laughed so much when I saw those pics!

Islamo-nazism, being the offspring of the fallen angel, can't help but mimicking him: the same way that him makes a distorted copy of whatever God created for our good, islamo-fascism makes distorted copies of the original cartoon characters.

I posted the article below on a prior thread.

Folks, I detect that these SOB's are very much in touch with the methods used by Goebbels. I think there is a lot more coordination (and extensive knowledge of Goebbels methods) in propaganda than we ever imagine.

People at JW or individual citizens don't have the resources that government intelligence services have to unravel the Muslim Propaganda Matrix. Maybe the Dept. of Homeland Security might consider studying this and look into patterns in this matter.

I think most of the Muslim propaganda is freelance, but I detect some organization principal in the matter. I would not be surprised if there are people in the media, in wire services, paid "activists", etc., that are on the payroll of organized Muslim propaganda outfits.

There are simply too may similarities with Nazi propaganda metthods that raise questions. There is a well funded, well trained cadre that is using Goebbels-Nazi-style-methods. I'll bet I'm right.

Even JW is in the crosshairs with these propagandists. It's organized-maybe funded by the Saudis. But it is organized. My gut tells me that.

Nazis stole Disney tricks: Animation techniques used in anti-Jewish propaganda films

BYLINE: Michael Woodhead

SECTION: News; A5

LENGTH: 679 words

DATELINE: COLOGNE

COLOGNE -- German film historians searching the archives of the former communist East have uncovered more than 100 Nazi cartoons that used techniques copied from the works of Walt Disney to spread anti-semitism across eastern Europe.
''It was Hitler's dream that Mickey Mouse would help him exterminate the Jews,'' said Ulrich Stoll, 39, a documentary maker who showed extracts on German television.

Hitler had loved cartoons since a summer evening in 1937 when he sat with Joseph Goebbels, his propaganda chief, in his private cinema in the Berlin chancellery, roaring with laughter at Mickey Mouse and Pluto in a film called The Mouse Hunt.

That Christmas, Goebbels sent the Fuhrer 12 Mickey Mouse cartoons as a present.

He soon persuaded Hitler that the Nazis should set up a cartoon industry of their own. The task was entrusted to Karl Neumann, a party member who came to Goebbels's attention after devising Drive to England, a board game in which children could play at defeating the British at sea with submarines and battleships.
Neumann's film company, Deutsche Zeichenfilm GmbH, was founded in 1941, three days after Hitler ordered the German army to invade the Soviet Union. More than 100 cartoonists were recruited from Germany and Austria to work in a studio in Alexanderplatz, in Berlin. Goebbels established further production centres across Nazi-occupied Europe.

Armer Hansi (Poor Hansi), the first film, told the story of a carefree canary oppressed by mean and dangerous blackbirds. The bird had three fingers and white gloves, just like Mickey Mouse, but sported the same lick of hair across his forehead as the Fuhrer. The villainous birds, by contrast, were caricatures of Jews.

It was with trepidation that the film-makers presented their work to Goebbels in 1943. ''We were naturally very nervous as to how the doctor would react,'' said Hans Tischmeyer, 87, who was responsible for characterization. They need not have worried. ''Some of the frames are poor and not so well drawn, but it is a good beginning,'' Goebbels wrote. The 17-minute film, which cost 2m Reichmarks -- a huge sum during the war -- was awarded a German culture prize.

Scores of others followed, all without dialogue. Goebbels wanted the cartoons, destined to be shown in the newly conquered territories of Poland, Czechoslovakia and Ukraine, to be understood by anyone.

The artists imitated Disney's revolutionary animation techniques but stopped short of stealing the characters. ''We studied the Disney films for their dynamics -- how they moved and ran,'' said Gerhard Fieber, 87, the chief cartoonist. ''Therefore, thanks to the Americans, we were able to do in a few months what had taken them 20 years to perfect.''

The films were steeped in anti- semitism. In The Jewish Rhinoceros, the anti-hero stalked the woods, clad in a kaftan and Jewish skull-cap, helping itself to everyone's money before being killed by outraged woodlanders.

In the spring of 1944, as the allies intensified air raids on occupied Europe, Goebbels reluctantly brought production to an abrupt end. The cartoonists were ordered instead to turn out mundane instruction films for conscripts to the increasingly hard-pressed army.

The studio in Prague was the last to make a film. Entitled Honeymoon in the Coral Sea, it told the love story of two small fish that were chased and harried by a giant Jewish octopus. ''We freely worked for the Germans,'' said Jiri Sebestik, 78, one of the Czech cartoonists. ''It meant that we stayed in Prague and were not deported to the labour camps.''

Those involved with the films appear to have few regrets today about their work. ''They were just fairy tales,'' said Mr. Tischmeyer.

At least one cartoonist, Hans Fischer Kosen, whose company made three films for Goebbels, was jailed by the allies after the war, however. He was released after two years in detention without being charged with any Nazi crime. Most of the film-makers went into advertising or other commercial work in the fledgling television industry.

So if I were to use Mickey Mouse and the Lion King in a say...a Christian cartoon; where the characters convert rats to Jesus ...

(uhm, I am not a Christian exactly according to some actual Christians, but bear with me okay)

... would Disney sue me to prevent the use of their beloved characters is such "horrible" enterprises such as saving souls for Jesus?

I thought so!

Then, what exactly does Disney have to say about the use of their characters in this and the other Hamas propoganda piece with Mickey Mouse?

Has anyone heard of an offical Disney response?

If so, where is the link -- I'd like to know what they have to say about this?

"Diane Disney-Miller, the only surviving daughter of Walt Disney, denouced Farfur and Tomorrow's Pioneers as disseminating "pure evil."

Witness-

There have been responses, but they are not strong enough. The thing that really has to be grasped here is that this is deja vu again re 30's Nazi propaganda. Many Muslims even do the "victim" act to justify attacks against "aggressors". They have studied the Nazi methods, they understand the principles of propaganda as per Goebbels, and we are naieve. Very naieve. Even a lot of "culture Muslims" are naieve.

El Frank is on the right track in this matter. His instincts are right.

It's a good thing these guys are not really smart. But that's not the point in the matter. The point is that they are in sync with a propaganda method that used Disney characters or Disney style stories and animation to influence minds-especially young minds-seven decades ago. As Goebbels noted, propaganda does not have to be logical, truthful, or even intelligent. All that is necessary is that it be effective on an emotional level. He considered "the masses" stupid, easily manipulated to beliefs or rage.

I think Goebbels understood that beneath consciousness is a whole dream world of desires, emotions, events and circumstances that in the logical mind are contradictory, but in the unconscious-dream-mind they make sense. Propaganda bypasses (or attempts to by-pass) the critical mind. That's why Goebbels said the best propaganda was buried in entertainment. That's why he used cartoons.

The cartoons are meant to make a permanent emotional impact. They will do that with kids. They are not about the use of the critical-logical mind. In the way they are being used they are child abuse. It is evil to do this because kids don't have any psychological defenses comparable to grown men and women. They are literally defenseless in this.

I don't to say more or I will be deleted.

Any "palestinean' with a modicum of brains has already fled the ME, left islam, and is pursuing success in the West.

So at best what is left are third rate cartoonists and the mental midgets who read them.

(except at the Beeb where these morons are patronized, sympathized and idolized as cuddly animal-like pets)

Thanks, you're points are well taken. I wish the current Disney folks would come out as strongly in condeming and SUEING these people and support

She's right. All Hamas' Mouse is doing is ensuring more children will die in a conflict that no one can win. If that isn't evil, I don't know what is. Here endeth the rant.

Scary, sick, stuff.

Repeating what tgusa said:

Islam is bankrupt when it comes to original ideas. They steal everything and can't come up with an original idea on their own. I don't even give them credit for the horrible and inhuman ways they kill people and in that the are more creative that any other thing.

The koran is a plagiarized book of revisionist stories of the Bible. He paid the Jews for scripture that he could put in his book because he could neither read nor write.

Psa 119:103
How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

Maybe they wanted to create a new cartoon character name appropriate to their *ahem* program (or is that POGROM?)
The new cartoon for kids:
The LYIN' KING

....much has been said about Muslims doing everything in reverse to the Christian way of doing thing....honoring death vs honoring life....protecting rapists vs protecting innocent women....banning soap, perfumes and clean haircuts vs neatness and cleanliness ....you get the picture....and in the cartoon the dollar sign is backwards....

it proves Muslims are dislexic.....probably disfunctional too...

Ban Muslim immigration...

DYSLEXICS OF THE WORLD, UNTIE!

Personally, I absolutely despise Hamas. They have ruined Israeli lives with suicide bombings; now they ruin Palestinian lives by poisoning the minds of the next generation of Palestinians.

OH, WAIT! Aren't Palestinian children already poisoned from birth because they were born Moslems?! Why was this story even considered newsworthy if all those kids will grow up to be suicide bombers anyways?

Hey everyone, are you anti-Jihadist, or anti-Moslem? You must choose; defeating Jihadism will require working with Moslems, but defeating Islam will require the anihilation of one third of the world population--which will inevitably be preceded by the Jihadification of this population. (After all, we're trying to kill them, no?)
