London-based Muslim newspaper editor would dance in Trafalgar Square if Iran nukes Israel

Feel the love.

"London editor prays for nuclear attack on Israel," by Jonny Paul for the Jerusalem Post (thanks to Jcom):

The editor of an Arabic daily newspaper published in London said in an interview on Lebanese television that he would dance in Trafalgar Square if Iranian missiles hit Israel.

Talking about Iran's nuclear capability on ANB Lebanese television on June 27, Abd Al-Bari Atwan, editor-in-chief of Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper, said, "If the Iranian missiles strike Israel, by Allah, I will go to Trafalgar Square and dance with delight."

In the interview, Bari Atwan was asked if he thought there is a process of détente [vis-à-vis Iran] and an American-Iranian inclination to reach a deal on Iran's nuclear ambitions.

"If there is a deal, it will be at the expense of the Arabs and if there is a war, it will also be at the expense of the Arabs," he responded. "I'm sad to say that we have no backbone now. If Iran reaches a deal with the Americans, what will be the bottom line? That Iran will have a nuclear program, and even if it does not manufacture nuclear weapons in the next 5-10 years, it will do so later."

Yep.

You see, Hitler did defeat Britain in WWII, which is why said editor is quoted as he was.
Winston must be rolling over...

If a nuclear missle strikes and kills al qaeda spokesmouths like Abd Al-Bari Atwan, then I will go to Jerusalem and dance with sheer delight. If Achmanidejad were taken out by one of the nuclear missles that backfired, then that day would be proclaimed a newly estabilshed universal celebration, an extra holiday to add to our calendars.

Turkey's not a bad country, just a bit morally impaired. The trick is not to invoke sympathy for any Infidels who didn't know their place, like the Armenians during WWI.

I can't really fault the guy.
I'd dance in Tehran (after the Radiation fallout has been rendered safe).... I guess when the enemy says what he wants to say, it should come as no surprise when his intentions are revealed.

Far too long the ISLAMIC cult has been hiding behind the "We are victims" facade, it is starting to come to light in even the most liberal areas the error of that lie.

Robert,
I hat tipped this to you 2 months ago!
I also emailed Sky news here in the UK with the video (as he is a regular guest on arab affairs).
What he says on Sky is totally different to what he says here of course.(typical)
Why doesn't anyone listen to me...sob
Here's the memri clip of the same.

Ideally, this editor would really like to burp al-lah in the even that this Iranian attack on the Jews comes true.

Hopefully though, when Uncle Sam finishes with the Arab Muslims they won't have ANY bones at all left.

when the Infidels make huge chunks of the Middle East, Jolo, Chech, et al become Pyrex I will not dance

I'll just say "about damn time" and then crack a cold one

may be we should drop three or 4000 pounds of pork rinds on the Kabbalah and on the Iranian atom bomb factory and see just how devout they really are and how dedicated they are to their moon god if it truly dedicated the pork rinds would pollute the ground so he could not use it

if and when iran drops a nuke on Israel, it will be the last thing iranians did as a nation. their country will look more like a moonscape.

This stupid prick needs to dance on the end of a rope. To hope for the deaths of many, many innocent people is despicable, and is truly Islamic in nature. The Arabs are the only people on Earth this low and animalistic.

A chemical reaction is something that transforms an unstable condition into a more stable condition. Often, the chemical reaction requires energy to get started. This energy is called a "catalyst". Once the catalyst does its thing and the reaction gets going, the reaction doesn’t stop until it’s done.

Having a sub-group within a population rooting for the population’s downfall is unstable. The larger population does not take action in an age of prosperity because it takes less energy to just tolerate the sub-group. But add a catalyst, like a successful WMD attack, or more likely the failure of the socialist economic model, and things might really get rolling.

Abd Al-Bari Atwan will not be dancing in a stable Western society. I hope he’s having a good time.

And will England punish this man in any way, shape, or form? Nope.

*sigh* I'll be spending a year in London. That's just scary.

What the hell is this guy talking about?!

Somebody should tell him that the Iranians (for the most part) are not Arabs!!!

mowasaperv...I think you mean Ka'aba, Kaballah is a form of Jewish religious belief. It is a thing, not a place.

Jew chick and Jewdog...just a little too coincidental...

I watched the clip link provided by Ken above. As well as dancing in the street, he thinks Blair is worse and more responsible for Iraq than Bush. He thinks Blair should be pelted with eggs and tomatos...too funny...

One can remember the muslim cabbies who jumped out of their cars and danced in the street here in N.America at the time of 9/11.

Time to get rid of these scum.

Back to Crapistan.

If Iran nuked Israel, the BBC would probably focus on the effect of the fallout on the Palestinians. Quite a few of the BBC's Middle Eastern section might also feel inclined to dance in the streets.

I see that BBC World is currently running a trailer for a upcoming programme about the plight of Arab nomads in Israel who have been resettled in towns. High unemployment, drugs, crime, ya da ya da..., and Israel's experiment has "failed" the presenter announces at the end of the tailer. No doubt we will be eventually treated to another distorted and concocted tale of Israeli cruelty towards Arabs by the BBC. In the meantime, the BBC will continue its subliminal anti-Israeli advertising campaign by endlessly repeating the trailer until we subconsciously make yet another negative association with Israel, and by extension with Jews. Goebbels would have been proud of the BBC and its techniques. Last summer's one-sided reporting of the Israeli-Hezbollah war was a prime example of how masterful they have become in producing anti-Israeli propaganda.

The BBC: its hatred of Israel knows no bounds. A fact that is obvious to someone like myself who is neither Israeli nor Jewish.

Sorry, HH but I am similarly animalistic.. I hope for the deaths of of all who hope for mine. And yours, HH. But then the people for whose deaths I hope are far from innocent.

How islamic of me to use the word 'innocent' like a true lawyer.

The logic and insanity of this man is on display here. he wants to dance in Trafalgar Square when the Iranians who he seems to hate bomb Israel. He also accuses Tony Blair of CONVINCING GWB that he should attack Iraq and at the same time is GW's poodle. So come on guys when was the last time your dog convinced you to invade a Country own up?

The Northumbrian,

Excellent analysis of the BBC. Spot on, as sad as it is.

I think Israel will do a first strike. They did it to iraq and they will do it to iran.

"The editor of an Arabic daily newspaper published in London said in an interview on Lebanese television that he would dance in Trafalgar Square if Iranian missiles hit Israel. "

....I suspect this sorry excuse for a human attends the same mosque that harboured the Muslims responsible for the London bomb attacks...and without a doubt, worships the evil text , the Qur'an....

....as the world is now aware, Muslim worship bloodletting, dispair, misery, and death....and they are good at it...

Ban Muslim Immigration...

But in the new Londonistan where Sharia law is regularly practised, dancing is illegal so he will be stoned in the street.

Posted by: BlowHammed [TypeKey Profile Page] at August 30, 2007 7:53 AM

Hmmmm.... I would like to think nuclear detente' would be at work here but i think the iranians are too stupid, or too smart. I can see Israel getting nuked but it won't be by missle, they'll smuggle it in and do it (Hezbollah). Who do you nuke back then?

Obviously, Iran, but Israeli leadership is too weak right now to just launch a counter-strike like they should. The United Nations and yes, the United States (if the left wins the presidency), will plead with Israel to stop the damage by not launching a nuclear counter-strike.

That is what i fear will happen even though Iran would deserve to get it sent back to them 10x. THe West needs new and very very strong leadership to weather the upcoming decades long war.

I have seen this Abdul-Bari Atwan creep many times on CNN & BBC. So I'm not surprised that he said this.

What does surprise me is that he says it, knowing --or he should know-- that any rocket aimed at Jerusalem, for example, from as far away as Iran could easily go astray and hit Ramallah or Bethlehem or an Arab neighborhood in Jerusalem. If you have never been here you might not realize just how close Ramallah & Bethlehem are to Jewish neighborhoods in the city of Jerusalem. Anyhow, if the attack is nuclear it would not matter if Ramallah is seven minutes from Jewish neighborhoods in northern Jerusalem or 20 minutes away [driving time] or even fifty kilometers away. So this maniac is praying for fellow Arabs to get incinerated along with me.

By the way, this red headed obnox --it would be hard to be more obnoxious than Abdul-Bari-- used to be hosted on CNN & BBC by interviewers lapping up his every repulsive word --without challenge from any other guest "expert." Of course the interviewers are and were too ignorant of all relevant info [historical, cultural, religious, sociological, etc] to challenge if they wanted to. And of course they did not want to challenge him.

Somehow, in recent years, I have seen him less often as a "guest expert" on the CNN & BBC. Now, CNN does not need him anymore, it seems, since their own "chief international correspondent" [cristiane A] does a good enough job of smearing Israel and whitewashing Arabs.

I pray that Abd Al-Bari Atwan does dance - at the end of a rope.

Al-Quds Al-Arabi was well known for its support for Saddam Hussein. How does that square with support for Saddam's biggest and most loathed enemy -- his Shiite neighbours.

On September 11th, 2001, after the second tower
was hit, the catering staff of a well known Columbus (OH) hotel exhibited great jubilation...
literally jumping for joy. The enemy within, then, as now, has morphed into the American mainstream work-a-day, and lies in wait for another opportunity to ambush America and her
strongest ally, Israel. "Never again" requires
constant vigilence, that we remain as the raven
sentinel...always on guard.
