I really don't think this is the time or the place for excessive amounts of Schadenfreude. If this bullsh*t was completely limited to Germany I could understand this sort of cheap triumphalism at least in part.

All me and my friends were feverishly following the events at the time and we took this news to mean that German Forces were indeed on their way to liberate our hostages!

Hour later we were still drinking and hanging out abnd we got the news that our Forcs had not only Fred the plan and ALL of the Hostages ALIVE [sadly the pilot was assissinated earlier] and all but one of the terrorists KILLED at the hands of OUR FORCES!!

We OWE Israel a DEBT for their help!!

The Daily Mail had comments that show why the muslims are getting ahead. Several comments said things about questioning the timing of the arrests, that they will end up being nothing just like 'all' the other arrests, and 'false flag' arrests, too close to political debates (aren't there always debates?). The only thing missing was that this was deserved. I have seen these same kinds of comments every time there is an arrest.

Relax, you're among friends. The problem isn't with you and others like you. It's with your leaders (before Ms. Merkel) and the people who voted for leaders whose campaigns were based solely on opposition to the US or a demonization of its leader.

Either you're in the minority or you're in a very silent majority. How many of your fellow citizens still believe Germany wouldn't be facing this danger if the US weren't in Iraq? How many non-Muslim Germans believe the 9/11 conspiracy theorists who say that it was an inside job?

The book became a best seller. Can anyone blame citizens who see the face of Germany in people like him and assume Germany is not on our side?
The German news weekly, Der Spiegel, described US policy as a conspiracy to control the world fomented and led by the oil industry or Christian right-wingers, in cover stories such as "Blood for Oil" and "Warriors of God". Stern magazine then showed an American missile piercing the heart of a dove.
How many Germans still believe the US is the greatest threat to world peace? Why should it take something like this to get them moving?
We should all be grateful the plot was foiled and people's lives were saved. What happens next is up to Germany. You don't blame this on George Bush, but how many Germans will?

Muslim immigration will continue. Germans, like others, are not having enough children. The government needs bodies. Even if they are not working, it seems.

That apparently was the situation in the US before the 1920s. The country had a large immigrant population and the native-born had fewer children. Once the flow was stopped, the economy settled down and all Americans started having more children. Maybe it's time to just stop the Muslim immigration (even for ten years) and see how people in that country react.

I can't disagree with most of what you are saying there. Just remember, the German pu$$ media WANTS their polls to reflect Germans believing these odd conspiracy theories.

It is shocking to see how easily most germans are manipulated by the likes of the [Roter] Stern Magazin. ie. [Red] Star Magazine and the Spiegel.

There IS a HUGE silent majority in every country I've ever been to, including in Germany.

They say.. oh, what can us little people do or say anyway? They [politicians] do whatever they want to anyway..

Sound familiar?

PS. I think that mitrust of the MSM is growing not only over here in the USA where there is very HEALTHY strain of distrust of the MSM, but even in places like Germany.

It is bitterly needed too.

If we assume Europe will loose out to Islam, America needs to plan to either remove or destroy the WMD capabilities of Britain and France, and of any other European country with the potential for producing WMD. A peaceful approach would be to remove all the factories to the USA complete with the personnel and the families. A precedent exists in this regard; the USA brought German rocket technology complete with equipment and top personnel (Werner Von Braun was the top rocket scientist and designed the V-X rockets that blasted London in '44- '45).

Since the majority of Europeans have apparently lost all sense of nationhood and national cultural pride there probably will be no serious opposition to "de-nuking" them. Just offer their respective governments a financial incentive that would make a serious dent in their unfunded retirement programs.

Greed should do the trick with indolents. We should approach it on a business basis. " We have a great monetary deal for Euros who are only living for today. Give us your nukes and we will pay your retirement obligations for 10 years ", or something like that.

Leaving the Euros with their nuclear toys to turn over to a Caliph is not an option for America. So the Euros need to cooperate with us in disarming themselves of WMDs and WMD capability.

This must be accomplished before Euro nations go Islamic, so that means we should be busy even now on staff talks and planning to redeploy these WMD armaments, factories and research centers to the USA. Treaties will have to be drafted, agreed and ratified, and the physical transfer itself would be a major piece of logistics. It might take 5-10 years to get all this done peacefully. And within 5-10 years there is liable to be Islamic control of some Euro governments, so this matter should be considered urgent.

We must begin work on something like this soon as possible since it would be unthinkable if America had to destroy these weapons by force; that might entail massive Euro civilian casualties that could dwarf WWII.

A 5-10 year time lapse before the first Euro country becomes Islamic with Sharia law and dhimmitude for the natives is predicated on demographics. The Muzzies are reproducing at 4 to 5 times the rate of the native Euros. So Muslim takeover is going to happen, unless the natives start having 6 kids per family again. Not likely.

However, a sudden Islamic takeover of a western nuclear-armed country could be achieved much sooner than 5-10 years if Islamist thugs adopt the brutal gang approach to government takeover, as developed by Hitler, Mussolini and Lenin. The brutal gang model is there on the table, and we should assume that they see it and are planning to use it. It worked with the "good" Germans before, who were afraid to fight back against the brownshirts and the stormtroopers. If this were to happen before the nukes had been removed, there would be hell to pay for all concerned on both sides of the Atlantic.
