I realize the term "win-win situation" has been over-used and can be a bit cliche, but this is generally how the West likes to deal with the rest of the world. Peace pacts, trade agreements that benefit both parties, and student-exchange programs are all examples of this world-view.

Islam does not look at the world this way. "Islam shall dominate and not be dominated" Notice there is no mention here of any sort of peaceful co-existence. If Islam is not dominating you, then you must, ergo, be dominating them.

I agree with the sentiments here, but I wish to beat them up intellectually first. I dont want there to be arguments afterwards that the West abused these poor Muslims.

I am tired of the "sick guilty corrupt white West" that Muslims are always peddling and liberals in the West do acts of hand-wringing and say "we agee, we are guilty".

Yes the West has done things that are not good - slavery, colonialism, the crusades - but the picture is not 100% black. We have done an extraordinary amount of good. Nearly everything in modern medicine, classical music, inventions, discovery, mathematics (and I am a mathematician Newton, Leibniz, Kummer, Lagrange, Galois, Guass, Cauchy, Reinmann, Hardy, Wiles), chemistry, physics - has come from the West.

The Oil issue is laughable. We pay money for it - it is a straight transaction. So there is no way we are cheating the Sudanese.

I will not apologise for my culture.
I look back over 2000 years with pride.

Islam has contributed very very little - ceramics and that is about it.
