An update on this story. "Police Prevent Terrorist Attack in Michigan," from WLNS.com (thanks to Jeffrey Imm):
Federal authorities in Dearborn may have stopped a planned terrorist attack and mass murder before it happened. Police got a tip that a 26-year-old medical student was planning an attack, and when they stopped him in a Dearborn park, he had an AK-47 assault rifle and was dressed in black military style clothing. He also had black makeup on his face as he climbed into an SUV with the loaded weapon. The man was arrested and is facing several felony charges. Police say he has a website where he claims to be a member of the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.

He was a Shiite, who should have been grateful to the US for liberating his correligionists in Iraq, and not angry like the Sunni followers of Saddam Hussein and OBL.

He was Medical Student studying to be a doctor! Yet he was intent on killing as many of the people who welcomed him into this country, paid for his education and would have been his colleagues and his patients.
But the man was a Muhammadan so that cancels it all out. Islam morally rots your morals and as well as your intellect. It's a blasphemous cancer.

Thank the Lord (not allah) this murderer was stopped before he could act. Not sure how the police happened upon this, but I am very thankful they did. God bless them, and keep them safe!!
Once again we see a wannabe killer working the system and admitted into this country as a 'student'. This seems to be happening all too frequently. I'm sure there are legitimate Islam-following students who come here, and I am deeply saddened that this puts them in a bad light. However, until this blight is over student visas for these people should be cancelled. Send them home; admit no more.

The Detroit Free Press buried a 3 column-inch story on this just today (the guy was picked up 6 DAYS AGO), in one of those "notes" collections of "minor" stories. Oh, but not to bother mentioning his wacky Hezbollah-lovefest website...wouldn't want to appear "insensitive" just to inform the community that a major terrorist attack was narrowly averted in a park where little kids play.

The real story here is that Zorkot didn’t really do anything and is a third year medical student. After our justice system and the ACLU get through with the process, he’ll probably do little or no jail time. The Constitution doesn’t allow Zorkot’s training to be invalidated, and if the Michigan Medical Board tried to deny him a certification based on a misdemeanor, they would be sued and probably lose.
This guy could be treating Infidels at a hospital near you soon. Maybe he will continue his personal Jihad in the US as a pediatrician.
Because, you know, it would be wrong to deport people based on religious ideology.

This is not a trait of Islam you see, because the vast majority of the Muslims in our population has never done such a thing. We need to do much more to identify such troubled, downtrodden individuals and to provide the counseling and support they need.

I did have a muslim doctor once, and yes once literally, and then I stopped going to her, I just hated to have a doctor who would be all wrapped up in Hijab, and yes this happened to me when I had initially moved to Houston. Now I have a great wonderful doctor, and yes I chose a Jewish doctor.

I have an idea as to why this 'ticking bomb' tried to go off when he did. One word. Ramadan.
Ramadan began on 13 September. Muslims will spend the next 30 days starving by day, gorging by night, and revving up the piety (= aggression) levels.
Note to all law enforcement and surveillance agencies in all non-Muslim countries with significant Muslim minorities - bear this in mind and increase vigilance. All us ordinary citizens had better be on the lookout too.

Is this story getting a lot of coverage in Michigan? I haven't heard anything about it in the Florida media.
We did just get an update on the two USF students being held for having firecrackers in South Carolina. There was a hearing today in Tampa and it was revealed that in their car was found pvc pipe containing explosives and 20 feet of fuse. Also there was a full container of gasoline.
On the laptop was a video of Megahed showing how to make a remote detonator out of, I believe they said, a remote control car. There were statements made (not sure if it was written or on the video) that this was to save a martyr so he could live for another day.
Sounds like a terrorist to me. I would expect more info in the Tampa Tribune tomorrow. tampatrib.com

Living next to Dearbornistan--we have gotten almost no coverage of this in our local media. I've seen the channel 7 video and the pitiful coverage in the print. As usual, the media here goes out if its way to be protect the guilty.
Debbie Schlussel has documented so much of this--the way Michigan bends over backwards to "see no evil" and to never cite a muslim's "islamic-ness"--you have to go elsewhere to get to the bottom of it. It is so pathetic, the extent to which our government officials and colleges, etc provide the maximum security bubble for illegals and muslim imports operate here.

Glenn Beck has been raising the possibility that perhaps the enemy is preparing another Beslan in the US. Hemlock Park is strikingly close to several schools. Perhaps our little lover boy was dry running? If these guys are going to attack us with one AK47 at a time, it will take them hundreds of years to overtake the "great satan" as they call us.

I have read enough online Islamic opinions (I don't use the word fatwa) to make me believe that Muslims are not the kind of people who think much of anniversaries. Many despensers of Islamic opinions criticise infidels for celebrating bithdays, wedding anniversaries, Mother's Day, and etc. They remind their followers to not imitate the infidel. These creatures do not need any reason to attack except the reasons stated in the Quran, they are just as likely to attack on any Oct 4 as the next Sept 11.

We have found they really are training in Afghanistan, for hits on specific targets en masse, and emphasis on speaking english while doing so.
