Homeland Security acknowledges "terrorist" ties of Pakistani woman who crossed into U.S. from Mexico

"These individuals are going to take the path of least resistance. And I'm sad to say that that path is the border."

Farida Ahmed Update. "Homeland Security: Woman Had Terrorist Ties," from KRGV:

MCALLEN - For the first time, Homeland Security openly admitted a Pakistani woman captured in McAllen has terrorist ties.
Farida Ahmed was caught at the McAllen-Miller International Airport in 2004. She was on her way to New York with $7,000 in cash and a South African passport.
We learned she had swum across the river into the U.S.
At the time, NEWSCHANNEL 5 uncovered Ahmed was on a terror watch list. The information confirmed off the record through our sources.
Just this week, Texas Homeland Security Director Steve McCraw admitted publicly that Ahmed did have terrorist ties to an insurgent group in Pakistan. The group reportedly smuggles Afghanis and other foreign nationals.
Fred Burton is a counterterrorism expert recently appointed to the Texas Border Security Council.
He says, "You had an individual that had associations with an international terrorist organization all probability that would have been a jihadist group."
Burton recalls the Ahmed case. He tells us there are ongoing investigations right now.
"These individuals are going to take the path of least resistance. And I'm sad to say that that path is the border," says Burton.

But... but.. She was just here for the jobs no Americans would do (blown up a bridge or two, and having a school massacre too). She was just waiting to pay the small fine in Bush's and Chertoff's Shamisty Bill and then she’d be a “legal” terrorist.

Copying a paragraph from another JW post above . . .

In "5 Myths About Terrorism" in the Washington Post (thanks to Steve), Alan B. Krueger provides a sterling example of the politically correct myopia that prevents an accurate analysis of the global jihad and Islamic supremacism. And he does so in such a clumsy way that it is remarkable that no one at the paper caught this before it was printed:

This paragraph will become quite useful to paste into comments as Alan B. Krueger's nonsensical list of myths gets it's much deserved debunking.

3. Terrorists are likely to cross into the United States from Mexico.

This is a favorite chestnut of some activists and politicians keen to tighten immigration and build a fence on the Mexican border. But the historical record doesn't bear it out. Of course, the past may not be a good predictor of the future,

Professor Krueger, I'd like to introduce you to todays special guest, Farida Ahmed.

What Alan B. Krueger lacks in intelligence he makes up for in ignorance.

Terrorists are taking advantage of this silly North American unity pipedream pushed by globalists trying to make this continent into a EU type federation between USA/Canada/Mexico...thus the border remains wide open...now with unchecked Mexican trucks rolling too. How convenient, now terrorists even have a gift of transport for heavier equipment. Mexico is just a disaster that their security is non existent. Like our Homeland security in the USA is anything to feel secure about, now consider Mexico and our mythical border.

Shutter.

when nukes that came across our southern border go off in America, will those in the federal government and state governments that refused to guard and shutdown our borders be tried as accessories to the murder of millions of innocent Americans????

You catch one, you've missed 100.

Get ready for trouble.

The Administration, House of Reprobates, and the Senate are guilty of criminal neglegence. This woman is one that they discovered, how many have swam the river and not been caight? Profitsbeard thinks it may be 100 - could be more.

"Profitsbeard thinks it may be 100 - could be more.

.....probably more....the ones that could not swim simply drove across the border unchecked....

...i suspect the number to be much higher....

...I did not know Naseem's cousin could swim...

Ex Sgt Brown,

I knew you'd like that one. ;)

Posted by: Isabellathecrusader [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 15, 2007 4:46 PM

yeah that was a good one!

Hell, we've even caught 4 crossers who turned out to be NORTH KOREAN MILITARY! (where's the front-page news coverage on that one, too?)

Just more proof of the need to secure the border, and back it up with NG troops (hey, excellent desert training instead of throwing them headlong into the sandbox-get 2 years experience here first, especially in fire discipline vs the druglords in cahoots with al qaeda anyway)...cheaper training, better conditioning, economy of force, and cost-cutting measures are already in place.

...besides, their presence proved it works anyway, while they build the 3-layer fence...the savings in training also help offset the fence costs, too.
It's a winner all around.

Too bad our "maximum leaders" don't use the common-sense KISS principle anymore.

How could she swim across a river in that black garbage bag with eyeholes?

They've done much crazier things before just to get here...
