Islamic nations push through IAEA vote against Israel

The Islamic bloc has replaced the Soviet bloc as the largest unified voting bloc in the UN. Here are the results: when the IAEA's attention should be focused on Iran, they do this instead. By Mark Heinrich for Reuters (thanks to Twostellas):

VIENNA, Sept 20 (Reuters) - Islamic nations, targeting Israel's undeclared nuclear arsenal, pushed through a U.N. atomic watchdog resolution on Thursday urging all Middle East nations to renounce atomic weapons.

The vote was 53-2 but with 47 abstentions by Western and developing states, highlighting reservations that the resolution politicised the International Atomic Energy Agency's work.

The decision was non-binding but symbolised international tensions over Israel's presumed nuclear might and shunning of the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), and it frayed the traditional consensus culture of the Vienna-based IAEA.

A similar measure calling on all Middle East nations to adopt IAEA safeguards on nuclear work passed overwhelmingly at last year's IAEA general assembly, with only Israel and top ally the United States opposed, as they were again on Thursday.

Anybody who actually has faith in the UN is an idiot. The UN is just a tool of the Muslims now.

The jihad marches on...

When Israel starts threatening to wipe other countries off the map...

Why bother? The U.N is muslim now. We need to take the U.N back, or make another organization to counter the U.N. There is no way we can sit back and let a muslim U.N make rules and enforce laws that concern all the countries of the world-no idealogy should be the majority in the U.N.

Inside job...either seek justification for their islamic bomb, or guilt trip everyone using bogus pretenses to imply hypocrisy by the west (it's about responsibility, which they are totally unconcerned with-getting the islamic bomb to use against Israel & the west is, and everyone knows it).

That's what this whole thing is all about, and although it is rather an abstract description, the plan IS just that simple...

...but nothing new or unexpected considering the source of anti-western hostility, Useless Numbnuts, Inc.

This was seen coming a mile away.
Now we know the REAL reason they didn't like John Bolton.

At least the US and Israel "should" know where they stand as far as global politics are concerned.

The 53 aren't even weighier than the 2, not even close.

They are mostly scummy islamic tinpot despots.

Posturing at Turtle Bay.

What a joke.

Thank G-d we voted with Israel. Damn the islamic morass and their international appeasers! They can all go to hell--and will.

Joel Rosenberg has written about the Exekiel 38 option--well, it is coming and Israel will use those nukes when it is atacked--hopefully the bombs are the neutron type that kill but don't destroy the earth. I don't believe Rosenberg is right about all things--but you can see this attack is coming. Prophecy indicates an consortium headed by Russia leading them will do a Pearl Harbor type invasion to Israel. It is surely not that far away--you can see Putin is turning into a dictator --like a Stalin---the Russian people lay right down and accept it.

Israel is in a no-win situation. Even we in the USA demand them not to fight back like happened in this recent rocket bombing from Gaza/hamas the night before Rosh Hashanah (thanks Bush and Condi and co)--we worry about the "peace process" with Abbas and co. What morons!

The world is to change more than ever after this major attack is put down--but it will never be the same--and there will be geat carnage to put down this invasion--Israel will stand--and then a season of phony-"peace" will come for a while when the anti-christ will guarantee the whole world's peace under his plan. Then it really will get nasty. It has been in writing for millennia and is coming to pass before our eyes in our own day.

Good one...though I live by Ezechiel 25:17... and follow up to those who didn't listen with Proverbs 1
You may find that one VERY interesting (not the new watered down version...the OLD text, with the word "terror" in it).

The world's most terrible weapons are best left in the hands of the earth's most democratic nations. How about a UN resolution to that effect? Wait, in the Middle East that would leave only Israel with WMDs and we'd be back where we started from. Well, we can't have that, now can we, all you Muslim tyrannies and autocracies out there?

Posted by: Wellington [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 20, 2007 11:25 PM

It is getting to be time for a drumbeat to get the UN off our soil, and for the USA to leave the UN.

It is totally useless for us to participate in this overwhelmingly Islamic body. Here in NY it is a center of espionage and spying. Let them take it to Egypt or wherever. It is another form of paying the jizza, since no other nation contributes as much as we do. Enough!

Someone recently proposed a new international organization composed only of Western and other non-Muslim democratic states. That is where we should be, in our own private "Dar al Harb". Let them keep their "Dar al Islam" and their wished-for Caliphate. And let all the non-apostates go with them, out of our territory. Enough!

I am not sure if you read something that I wrote but I did suggest the formation of a "League of Democratic Nations" recently.

Membership would be subject to very strict rules of admission..

the moFoes have the OIC so why shouldn't WE have something of OUR OWN?!

This could be a prelim to leaving the UN...

Posted by: Allahfanculo [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 21, 2007 12:54 AM

NUKE the UN.. ooops.. Loneybin Laden is trying to do that already!

Let's move the whole shebang to Scheißloch meca. Then we won't have to be involved any longer - since "INFIDELS" who are still the MAJORITY of this World's population - aren't allowed in such a shit-holy place

LOL LOL LOL.

Infidels, don't touch that holy moon rock. Not that we'd want to waste our *time*. We're too busy working and paying taxes to feed such wastes as you mahometans.. since the Left has decided that we must feed you.. I am DISGUSTED already!

moslems are WEIRD...

As the IAEA is as useless as the UN, anything that conglomeration of ragtag and Islamic entities and crippled countries does is--or should be--inconsequential.

That Iran voted for the resolution--asking Middle East nations to renounce atomic weapons--shows the worthlessness of the UN and IAEA farce.

The IAEA headed by Mohammed what's-his-name (I know it's el-Baradei or something like that)will of course give Iran a free pass and land heavily on Israel.

Sure, all these Mohammedan nations in the Middle East (and elsewhere) would love to see a helpless, unarmed Israel so that they could have a go at it with "the armies of Mohammed." As long as Israel is non-commital as concerns its nuclear capability, it remains for the Islmics to remain in darkness about "how many or how much."

The Islamics are waiting for their big kahuna--Iran--to goad Israel into a nuclear attack. Iran's rulers are confident that Iran can absorb a nuclear first strike by Israel and then carry out Ahmadinejad's dream of "wiping Israel off the map.

Never mind that Iran is shi'a; when it comes to Mohammedans against the "infidels," all Islamics are united.

The game then is for Israel to prevent a first strike by Iran with deterrent action of such magnitude as to cripple the mullah-ruled nation's nuclear capability.

This scenario is pure speculation. Real events will depend on if anyone (Israel or the U.S.) calls Iran's bluff--or if Iran surreptitiously completes "the bomb," and uses it--or makes moves as if to use it--on Israel.

The Useless Nations has become a criminal organisation long ago. I cannot understand why the free world does not resign from it, thus declaring it an insignificant, obscure bunch of failed states. Surely their eagerness to feel important cannot prevail over the immoral nature of what the institution is about? Well, I'm not so sure. Watch what the UN condones and condemns. The latter speaker (by his looks I think he's a jew, or at least an Israeli) deserves a fat Cuban cigar. He's articulate, behaves entirely correctly yet makes himself guilty of stating some undeniable facts. This alone makes him unacceptable to the UN's president. If I read the article above correctly, 47 states did not support the resolution, but neither did they have the guts to openly oppose it. Again, only the US and Israel defended the free world. This is truly incomprehensible.

We usually call it "islamo-nzism, but the term "islamic socialism" is mot in line with the UN. Left winged moonbats in the UN (and in the media) are paving the way for the political jihad make it impossible to criticize Islamic nations with mass murdering bombs, who promise daily>/b> to use them against civilized nations.

When will the West get some cujones and kick this useless UN-Islamo-Socialist force away?

When? That's simple...
as soon as we purge the brownshirts of political correctness and every infestation programs (POGROM lite), the very essence of that same bunch of political parasites, and get back to the age-old 1,000% opposite of PC: common sense.

That's 90% of the battle right there.
Once the enemy within is purged, the enemy without is much easier to deal with.
Until then, everything else is just window dressing.

gee...what a shock.

Just more expansion/extension POGROMs echoing the ad hominem and ad nauseum continuance of UNrs 242 & 338.

This has been decades-long expected, as their aim is to isolate, then brand Israel a pariah nation, then outright "ruling" them to be "illegitimate" and "illegal" as a nation, hoping to gain favor for their inevitable and imminent plans for attack on Israel...all part of the rabid POGROM of the destruction of Israel.

Ironic how any of them are on a "human rights" comission, or any other commission for that matter, since they don't warrant one anyway.

.....and as a surprise witness for the prosecution, we could bring in the Iranian general who defected some time back....and we could should the video taped interviews taken with the captured Iranian Qod members and the captured Iranian diplomats and the other captured Iranian soldiers and the captured Iranian trained terrorists..

...next we could show the captured Iranian made munitions and the captured documents that came from Iran showing various plans and other intelligence info indicating that the Iranian hierarchy is involved in the planning, the transporting, and the supplying of IEDs from the Iranian weapons facilities...

....we could show much more, but for some unknown reason we won't....

....and just like Al-Qaeda, we should make a tape of it all and send a tape copy to all the news agencies around the world...

.....then we should put this dirtbag on the first plane back to Iran....

If Bush is smart,

Well, he isn't. Bush is working for the arabs. Bush is okay with selling a part of Nasdaq to Qatar. Why? International commerce. The ports deal wasn't enough. For Bush, the globalist, the only thing that matters is good relations with the muslims and vibrant international trade with the muslims. Everything else is secondary.

What a shame that the United Nations, once a bastion of freedom, has been taken over and corrupted by muslims, like everything else they touch. The UN's usefulness has come to an end, and all democratic countries should pull out now. We need to form our own alliance against islam.

Our President doesn't have control over what NASDAQ does...that only works in socialist countries, not here. His words match the idea of selling for the almighty dollar, but that doesn't mean he controls it.
Case-in-point he doesn't control such things to that degree...
UnoCal...china tried to buy it, but the shareholders were talked out of it, not by Bush...otherwise, it would've been sold to China at Bush's behest (based on the implication of Bush controlling things be true, which it's not)...it wasn't...and he doesn't control such things in that manner.
Maybe that kind of thing works in the EU...not here.

I don't like the idea of NASDAQ or anything else being owned, even in part (20% stake) as this one is, by islamists of any degree (I simply don't trust them)...but let's make sure the parameters are accurate...that take sounds more like something that came out of noam chomsky, and was uncalled for.
