Pro-jihad Islamic cleric killed in Aleppo.
"Syrian cleric assassinated," from Reuters (thanks to all who sent this in):
DAMASCUS: A Syrian cleric who recruited foreigners travelling to Iraq to fight US-led forces was assassinated in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo yesterday, his aides said.Sheikh Mahmoud Abou al-Qaqa was shot dead after he emerged from Friday prayers, they said....
“Sheikh Qaaq died in hospital. His killers do not want Muslims to unite.”...
Qaqa had thousands of followers. He had called for jihad, or holy war, to counter US policies against Syria. Experts say he had toned down his rhetoric lately and become less active.

Great career move for Sheikh Mahmoud Abou al-Qaqa. This what should be symbolically done to the Jihad propaganda machine.
Anyone who does not think propaganda is effective only has to look at how world opinion has been manipulated against Israel and how the "Palestinians" are viewed as victims. Israel should pay more attention to PR-particularly pointing to the reasons why so many Jews fled Muslim Mideast countries before and after 1948.

I'd think the fat, bearded creep would have been elated as the bullets tore into him thus making him a martyr for the cause.
Still good riddance to bad trash.
It needs to happen much more often.

Possibly a victim of the Alawite regime itself. It may not, these days, be able to move tanks into Hama or Haleb, firing on everything that moves and says "Allahu Akbar" and then forcing the people to stand outside and forced to view the corpses of Sunni Muslms dragged behind tanks, and to clap and express their approval. After such a viewing, a Sunni Muslim, until then the outwardly close friend of an Armenian (father of a friend of mine), came up to him and whispered "I saw what you did. When we get power, you -- Christians? Armenians? -- will all be killed, and he drew his finger across his throat in the timeless sign of murderous menace. That very day, the father decided to leave Syria.
No, it may not be able to come down hard on the Ikhwan. But it has thrown in its lot with Iran (it was an Iranian cleric who a few years ago declared in a fatwa that the Alawites were indeed "real Muslims" of the Shi'a sect -- which the Alawites desperately needed, though that fatwa is merely a fig-leaf for what is a syncretistic sect that includes worship of Mary).
And it enjoys these targetted killings. They've been effective in Lebanon. Why shouldn't they work in Syria?

....hmmmm, probably got killed because he was not "Muslim" enough....

Notice that Muslim "unity" has a great deal to do with Muslim imperialism and supremacism in the form of expansionist jihad/qital. Any Muslim-to-English Dictionary would have to include long passages on "unity" and "oppression" - my personal pet peeve as I see so many leftists (read: morons) reading it at face value.

Now if this was done by the CIA, in our view their rep would arise from the slough of despond and errordom - part of their legacy in the 'road to 9/11' - to a level of respectability
Maybe they are getting their head on straight.
Would that ever be a cause for optimism.
(did they really send stupid Plame's stupid squeeze to Niger ?)

How do you spell it, I have seen Qaaq, Qaqa, Qaaqaa?
His murderers did him a kindness, they helped him get to heaven sooner than he anticipated.
Islam is full of kindness...ain't it...

Watching a French documentary on Chechnya , a year or two back, I was surprised at the number of Islamists interviewed whose appearance was followed by the information that they had assassinated by Russian agents within months of being filmed. The Russians even went after them in the Gulf States. It would be nice to think that the whole thing made these jihadis feel a little terrorised and intimidated.

Muslims killing Muslims -- what else is new. The game continues as they can't even decide which team they are playing FOR, or AGAINST. May they both lose the game of jihad.

It would be nice to think the US eliminated his miserable life. I would love to see a broad campaign of assassinations of enemies who promote and take part in violence against the west.
Good riddance

From the article
Sheikh Qaaq died in hospital.
Did he go to a hospital adhering to strict Islamic strictures? Maybe sprinkling him with camel urine and having him blow his nose thrice wasn't an effective treatment.
Allah brought him home, to the pits of hell. Allah knows best.

"It would be nice to think the US eliminated his miserable life."
....we are having some successes that the MSM refused to acknowledge:
"BAGHDAD — The U.S. military is eliminating Al Qaida's chain of command in Iraq.
Officials said several leading aides to Al Qaida network chief Abu Ayoub Al Masri have been killed by the U.S.-led coalition. They said two out of the four foreign aides of Al Masri remain alive.
On Sept. 25, the U.S. military killed an Al Qaida chief deemed responsible for transporting foreign operatives to Iraq. The Al Qaida commander, identified as Abu Osama Al Tunisi, was killed in a U.S. air strike as he met his colleagues in Musayib, about 60 kilometers south of Baghdad.
Shortly before he died, Al Tunisi wrote a letter that warned of a threat to Al Qaida operations in Karkh. The lettter, found by the U.S. military, sought guidance from Al Qaida leaders amid coalition operations that hampered Al Tunisi's network.
"We are so desperate for your help," the letter read."
.....hoooorrraaahhh....

I agree with the thought raised here and other threads. Let's start playing the game of muslim one upping another muslim. Shia vs Sunni, Persian vs Arab, black vs olive, north vs south, east vs west, Arabic vs any other language, jihadist vs non-jihadist; things like that. As united as they like to think we see them they are more racist than the KKK and easily divided.
This is the same tactic that they use when they raise the race or victim card. Divide and conquer. I have even seen it when trolls visit these forums.
Matt 12:25-26
And knowing their thoughts Jesus said to them, "Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and any city or house divided against itself will not stand. If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand?"

Every time I see one of these hate-filled mullahs preaching hatred of Jews, Christians and all non-believers with brazen arrogance RIGHT ON THE STREETS OF LONDON OR NEW YORK...I dream that we could make them think twice about how comfortable they've become. They have tacitly declared war and they walk freely among us, scorning our culture and recruiting a whole new generation of haters. Hey, if it's war, it's war. If one or two of the most dangerous clerics occasionally walked outside after Friday prayers and caught one right between the eyes, they might start to think a little more cautiously. I'm sure the CIA can handle this sort of thing. Nobody knows where it came from. The trail goes cold. But something very salient was communicated.

A global campaign aimed at eliminating these rabid muslim dogs should have been initiated immediately after 9-11. I would love to see all the firebrand imams running for cover like that fat, scowling scumbag with the bad teeth in Iraq (his name escapes me at the moment), who conveniently disappears when his minions have been sufficiently incited to rampant, indiscriminate carnage. I want every venomous, malevolent islamic cleric to live in perpetual fear of being taken out by a sniper's bullet or a car bomb. Something drastic must be done to shut up these pious instigators of death and destruction before they inculcate the next generation of jihadists. They are responsible for worldwide terrorism and they should be silenced one way or another.
Islamic clerics are the foremost threat to world peace and are responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent human beings, slaughtered by muslim terrorists and butchers. The doctrine of islam is pure poison administered by the islamic clergy. Infected with the virulence of islam, muslims are ticking timebombs.
