Turkish hackers attack more than 5000 Swedish websites in the past week, attacks linked to Muhammad caricature

An update on this story. "Disparaging caricature of Islam's prophet excites hackers' attack," from the Associated Press:

Turkish hackers have attacked more than 5,000 Swedish Web sites in the past week, and at least some of the sabotage appears linked to a Swedish newspaper's publication of a disparaging caricature of Islam's prophet.
Around 1,600 Web sites hosted by server-provider Proinet and 3,800 sites hosted by another company have been targeted, Proinet spokesman Kjetil Jensen said.
Jensen said the hackers, operating on a Turkish network, removed all files on the Web sites and in some cases replaced them with messages.
According to Swedish news agency TT, the Web site of a children's cartoon called Bamse was replaced by a message saying Islam's holy prophet had been insulted.
The incidents have been reported to the police.
Stefan Grinneby, head of the Swedish communication watchdog's Internet incident center Sitic, said attacks against Swedish Web sites from Turkey have increased in the past three weeks. Some contained messages alluding to the drawing of the Prophet Muhammad as a reason for the attack.
"You would need a very large police investigation to establish the connection to the prophet drawings, but considering the increase in recent weeks it is a fair assumption to make," he said.

The barbaric followers of the cult of islam will use every means at their disposal to drag the civilised world back to the 7th century. Any form of retaliation against this "you must submit" campaign would be "insulting islam" and would be strongly condemned by the United Nations, no doubt.

Lets all do what they want and there will be peace in the world.

Would be most interesting to see what would happen if almost every Western nation produced a cartoonist or two (or three or four) who mocked Mohammed. Such grand unity would put the Muslim world into fits ten times over and possibly act as a catalyst for further Western defiance of Islamic nonsense and intolerance.

Funny, how the Islamists never hack into and vandalize the websites that "hijack" their "Religion of Peace" with calls for violence.

Funny how they never protest against the Jihadists who "misunderstand" and "pervert" their "noble" religion's teachings.

I'm astonished! Who knew these zombies were smart enough to hack into websites? Surely they didn't learn this stuff in a madrassa.

And the mentally challeged elites continue to import these Jihadist into our Universities to train them in the arts of chemistry and computers all in the name of cutural suicide.

Blind fanaticism!

Why do they even revere Muhammad?

Who's Muhammad, anyway, but a simpleton who invented a religion to suit his own vices? and who somehow duped some followers to start conquering the rest of the world based on his self-proclaimed communications with who knows who?

Did Muhammad ever prophesy something that came to pass? Did he contribute anything at all for the betterment of anyone other than himself? Did he prove in any way that male Muslims indeed get their virgins? (And what do female Muslims get?)

Did he prove in any way that his Allah is indeed the only god? Simply repeating that "there is no god but Allah" does not make it any more true than repeating that Muhammad was his prophet.

Muhammad deserves a lot more than a mere "disparaging caricature."

Our good friends the Turks make a show of European Unity in their bid to be accepted into the EU ...

A monet painting was damaged by vandals. Who would do that? No word if they were from the RoP. Any bets?

Cartoons are an insult to Islam!

Artists in Afganistan painted over human figures in Afgani works of art so that the Taliban would not destroy them. Any depiction of a human face or figure is forbidden under strict observance of Sharia law. Just imagine what the Taliban would do to the Guggenheim.

Must be pretty good hackers, busy too. I wonder what the average age of expert hackers is in Islamland? In the US it's about 14...

Next, the EU will issue some proclamation worrying about any retaliation against Muslims... so this story will continue... in Dhimmi Watch.

..........................

I wasn't familiar with Bamse. He appears to be a sweet little bear in a blue stocking cap. Here are some pictures:

So some Swedish parent will get the latest gripe from the Religion of Peace instead of a cute bear for his child.

And what does Islam have to offer little kids? Farfour the Shaheed Rat, whose character was beaten to death by an "Israeli settler". I bet some of the poor kids watching the show are still having nightmares.

Yes, Turkish membership in the EU would be a disaster. Turkey is not in any substantive way European, or Western, and is becoming less so all the time.

Congress accepts Islam as a "great religion" and seeks to endorse the spread of Ramadan as a holiday on a par with Christmas. I suppose rampant acts of violence and intolerance in the name of Islam each and every hour of every day are not enough to alert Western leaders to their own appeasement, ineptitude, ignorance and, in some cases, outright treason.

Evil is good and good is evil.

Wellington,

I've said that for a long time. As an act of solidarity with the Swedish and Danish press, and in defense of freedom of the press, every newspaper in the West should publish cartoons mocking Mophammad and Islamic theology. And that goes for the rest of the media also.

It won't happen, though. It might give offense to Muslims. They'll save the space for mocking Christianity.

Monet paintings are some of my favorites. His paintings shows the beauty of people and sceneries. thats two things muslims despise. I just hope all the valuable art will be removed from France before the ROP's take over.

Losing France to the ROPs would be a greater lost then losing some art. Maybe the destruction of some of that priceless art could be the trigger that wakes up the French to the Islamic threat.

Culture is going to be the key to victory in this war. If the West can regain faith in it's own civilization, then we can easily defeat win this war.

When I heard of the vandals who tore the great Monet painting, I immediately had one group in mind. Guesses? Stay tuned on that...likely some of those "dissatisfied Muslim youths" who burn cop cars in Paris.

The Taliban recently blew up a statue of the Buddha in Afghanistan, a crime they had tried earlier and failed. Guess they went back to the PBUH Explosives School and figured it out.

The Buddha?????

Are you freaking kidding me????

The highest Muslim cleric could not drink water with the dog of a Buddhist.

All this means is that our side needs to get more serious in firewalling and returning the favor by hacking these pismires back to the Apple IIC era.
