"The report, presented to Home Affairs Minister Guusje ter Horst, says Muslim neo-radicalism is characterised by increasingly professional leadership." Professionals? Here again we see that it is not poverty, but ideology, that fuels jihadist sentiment.
"Number of radical Dutch Muslims growing," from Deutsche Presse Agentur (thanks to all who sent this in):
AMSTERDAM (dpa) - The Dutch intelligence and security service AIVD published a report on Tuesday indicating the number of radical Dutch Muslims is on the rise. The reports speaks about an "extremely intolerant and anti-democratic" movement which is reportedly not violent however.
The report, presented to Home Affairs Minister Guusje ter Horst, says Muslim neo-radicalism is characterised by increasingly professional leadership....
According to the intelligence service's information, there are 15 to 20 Salafist preachers in the Netherlands, who are active in 30 to 35 mosques and youth centres.
Click Here!Another 20 salafist preachers are currently in training. Salafism is a radical and ultra-orthodox movement in Islam.
The AIVD reports the radical message of Salafi Muslims appeals to some 20,000 to 30,000 of the Netherlands' 1 million Muslims.
Moderate Muslims, Muslim gays and those who have renounced Islam are the primary target of neo-radical Islam, the AIVD writes.
The Dutch intelligence service says neo-radicals may consciously obstruct the freedom and civil rights of the moderates. The chance that violence will eventually be used is not to be excluded.
Good thinking, fellas.

The Netherlands is in the forefront of those Western nations which are in danger of ultimately being lost due to the Muslim demographic imperative. And for the Dutch to rely on "moderate" Muslims to counter "radical" Muslims is, to put it mildly, not a winning strategy. Expulsion of at least all out-loud thinking radical Muslims is the very least that should be done. Oh, too bad the Dutch and other Western nations ever let any Muslims into their countries to begin with. What a mess.

The willful blindness is just astounding. This is what it must have been like in 1937. When the mass killings of unclean kuffar infidel dogs begin, they probably will not wake up even then.
I guess this is what happens when you smoke too much dope.

My God, we just covered all this here at JW, not even a week ago.
Hirsi Ali: "The problem is not going to go away. Confront it, or it's only going to get bigger."
Reason magazine, the dhimmi publication that has attacked Jihad Watch several times, has published in its current print issue an interview with Ayaan Hirsi Ali.
When the interviewer asked her if she thought Islam could bring about positive social change in the same way that religious Protestants helped end US slavery, and Catholicism helped end communism in Poland, she responded sharply:
Hirsi Ali: Only if Islam is defeated. Because right now, the political side of Islam, the power-hungry expansionist side of Islam, has become superior to the Sufis and the Ismailis and the peace-seeking Muslims.
Reason: Don't you mean defeating radical Islam?
Hirsi Ali: No. Islam, period. Once it's defeated, it can mutate into something peaceful. It's very difficult to even talk about peace now. They're not interested in peace.
Reason: We have to crush the world's 1.5 billion Muslims under our boot? In concrete terms, what does that mean, 'defeat Islam'?
She doesn't really answer, except to say that Islam must be resisted at every opportunity, "in all forms, and if you don't do that, then you have to live with the consequence of being crushed." She said that she believes we are headed to that point "because the West has been in denial for a long time."

Good thinking, fellas.[Robert Spencer's comment]
This reminds me of a comment on an FBI official put up here several months ago:
"FBI Assistant Director John Miller said...that Al Qaeda is 'on a bell curve and they're getting more effective.'"
-- from the article above
They're on a "bell curve," eh? Which end?
But even before answering that question, FBI Assistant Director John Miller might refresh his memory of relevant areas of mathematics and statistics, and he will then discover that what he had in mind was not a "bell curve" at all but rather a steeply rising learning curve.
Isn't the FBI supposed to inspire confidence among the citizenry? Aren't we supposed to sleep well a'nights, knowing that the stop-at-nothing know-everyhing FBI is protecting us -- and in the background are all the most brilliant people in our government, making grand strategy, always several steps ahead of the boys from Al Qaeda?
As Marge Gunderson says to her police-partner in "Fargo" after a particularly thick-headed example of his missing the obvious -- "I'm not so sure about that, Lou."

Evidently Dutch officials can identify who the radicals are. Wouldn't common sense, or a simple instinct for self-preservation, tell you to round them up and deport them from the country?
Sounds like Dutch authorities are content to write reports on the danger, but don't have any intentions of doing anything to protect themselves from it.
It's the same story in all Western nations: investigate, write a report, don't do a damn thing. Let the situation grow so bad until you're terrified to do anything.

That the Dutch ruling classes have a strong tendency to stick their heads in the sand, is a well-known fact at least since 1940.
However, I would like to remind One_of_the_last_few_Patriots_left
that the average American consumes more than twice as much dope as the average Dutchman:

"The reports speaks about an 'extremely intolerant and anti-democratic' movement which is reportedly not violent however." -- from the article
I'd like them to define violence. I'm curious as to whether or not the country has an increased rate of crimes against women with uncovered heads and Western clothes. I think there is a problem with this type of crime in some European countries.
Perhaps by violence they mean suicide-murder-bombings?

Modified from another article, but comming to a theater near you.
Sheikh Mukhtar Robow says that at this point all the Dutch Islamic supremacists need is an inner spiritual struggle. "Dutch Islamist leader vows holy war against "All Kufars,'" from AFP (thanks to Twostellas):
Amsterdam, Oct 9, 2007 (AFP) - A key Dutch Islamist leader on Tuesday called for jihad, or holy war, vowing that a bloody insurgency against the Netherland-backed government in Amsterdam would end only with the return of Islamic law.
"Our mission is clear. What we want is to free our country from Kufari colonisers -- by this I mean the Netherlands," said Sheikh Mukhtar Robow, a radical Islamist leader who recently resurfaced in Amsterdam the capital.
"At this point, jihad is all we need. There is no political process we can be involved in unless we get a government practicing Sharia (Islamic law)," the militant leader told AFP by phone.
Sheikh Mukhtar -- also known as Abu Mansur since he trained in Afghanistan and fought alongside the Taliban there in the early 2000's -- presented himself as "a spokesman for the Islamic movement" in Amsterdam.
"Our aim is to liberate our country from the Kufari invaders and those who assist them, and I assure you that the holy war against them will not stop until the Islamic flag is raised," he added.

Jan: Dude, why's that guy in the beard waving a knife at us?
Geert: The one who kinda looks like a bunny rabbit?
Jan: Dude, (giggling) he does, doesn't he?
Geert: Don't bogart that hash pipe, bro. (chortling) Woah, now there's two of them!
Jan: Awesome! And now there's a million of them!
More Heinekin, less hashish, Hollanders.
Especially the intelligence service members.
It makes things seem funny when they're deadly serious.

It,s sad but the western world will not wake up until the day comes where a muslim population become the majority and then go on to win a democratic election then attemp to role back people freedoms.
The muslims are going to smile and be nice for now they know they don,t have the strenght yet but when they feel they are strong enough they will move.
When it happens it will send shockwaves through the western world
