In "Islamo-Fascism on US Campus," IslamOnline (thanks to PRCS) reports about Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week, and tells the Islamic world about the hateful posters that were put up at George Washington University.
It implies that these were authentic Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week posters, and of course doesn't mention the fact that a Muslim put them up as "satire."
Why let the truth get in the way of a good "Islamophobia" story? It never has before!

Its the car car car cartttt ttoons all over again.
These poor little sensitive islamists, we are toruring their little eyes and ears.
The poor little hateful darlings should just go find some bomb material to assuage their hurt feelings.
Or have someone issue a fatwa (and we will issue a slimwa)
Boo hoo boohoo. It just tugs at one's heart.

Those radicals are so hypocritical. While the conservative students are hoping to have a logical debate about Islam, those who are radical having nothing in their defense. They spout message of hate and terror. In fact, the website TheirOwnWords.com does an excellent job of documenting this kind of hate speech. TheirOwnWords compiles English translations of clips from public television in countries such as Iran so that Americans can understand how violent radical jihadists are. Americans do not realize what radical jihadists say about America.

Pretty funny...they run the story as though the posters were placed by the organizers of IFAW, which was a huge propaganda leap even from the original story.
And then the first ten comments following point out that it was a Muslim who planted the posters.
They can't even get the irony out of their OWN website.

The highlighting of the ersatz Islamophobia satire helps draw attention to the seriousness of the issues it lampoons.
If there is no basis for characicaturing Muslims as terrorists, then why do it, unless there's some truth in it.

All this stuff about everybody hating mohammedans is a self-fulfilling policy.
So yeah, sure, if you keep demeaning everybody else in the world, calling for their blood, and then whining about what a victim you are when they push back, sure, sooner or later everybody else is going to hate you.
And the way people are, they'll probably tar everyone who resembles you with the same brush.
That's how the world is.
Unfortunately, some people only understand one thing.
This will continue till they are forcefully suppressed.

This smells of the now infamous motoons - not those motoons, but the additional, obscene drawings that materialised after the original dozen, and were passed around various countries in the Middle East to stir unrest.
Come to think of it, has anyone seen Imam Abu Laban recently?

The FBI should be called in on this. Don't let this opportunity pass by.
This is a 'Hate Crime'. This was done to 'incite' and it has done exactly that. It was presented to appear to be a 'hate' piece that was put forth by conservatives, instead it was a 'hate' piece to FRAME conservatives.
A federal hate crime was committed.
If this gets passed over as 'satire' then anything can be 'satire'. i.e. what is printed, or what is said.
The Feds will be setting a presidence here if they let this one go. If they get away with this, then think of the things conservatives can do in the future, and we can get away with calling it 'satire'.

Someone who supports Islamo Fascism Awarness week is highly unlikely to do something of this nature. It only inhibits its efforts.

Good thinking, alaskan.
This is clearly a hate crime against conservatives, since a fraud was perpetrated to libel them. Do you really think anyone will defend conservatives on a madrassa,,,er, I mean, college campus?

The key question to be asked here is who benefited the most from these posters being distributed? Well, who benefited the most from the Reichstag fire in February of 1933?

(PLEASE POST THIS ANNOUNCEMENT AT OTHER WEBSITES)
The Jihad Awareness Project (to wake up the U.S. Senate and Congress) currently has 107 volunteers in 44 states.
WE ARE STILL SEEKING ADDITIONAL CITIZEN VOLUNTEERS
FROM ALL 50 STATES, ESPECIALLY THE FOLLOWING 6:
Delaware
Mississippi
North Dakota
South Dakota
Vermont
West Virginia
THE PROJECT: We're looking for people in every state of the Union who would be willing to purchase, from Amazon or any other source, a copy of Robert Spencer's new book Religion of Peace? Why Christianity Is And Islam Isn't and mail it, on an agreed upon date, to one of the senators in your state. We want to get the book simultaneously to all 100 senators, in order to send a strong message. If we get more than two people per state, books can also be sent to the U.S. House of Representatives.
If you'd like to participate (or you just have questions), please write to me at traehnam@yahoo.com under the subject heading "Senate," and tell me the state your senator represents, and a nickname. No need for your real name. And I will never share your email address with anyone, not even with other volunteers for this project.
And visit jihadawareness.blogspot.com to get more info on this project and to leave comments other volunteers can read. You can also see there the growing list of participants in this project, and the states their senators represent. I've also designed a graphic that might amuse. Scroll down when you get to the site.
Once we have at least two people from every state, we can agree on a mailing date and then each of us can mail a copy of the book on that date.
Right before each of us mails the book, we’ll issue a press release to media outlets in as many states as possible, and in that way announce and explain the mailing. And perhaps we can come up with some other ways of maximizing the effectiveness of this project and gaining as much positive attention as possible.
One of the project's volunteers suggested contacting Rep. Sue Myrick, who started the Anti-Jihad Caucus in Congress. When we reach the goal of having all 100 senators covered, I'll call Rep. Myrick's office and see if she can help. I've called several congressional offices to get advice on how best to proceed.

The constituents of the Muslim world (if you can call them that) are desperately obsessed with controlling what the constituents of the Christian world think (especially when it pertains to Islam).
Then the Muslims get enraged when it is pointed out to them that doing this is PRECISELY what 'fascism' IS (and go on yet more bloody rampages with carnage galore).
I guess it takes blood to hold a self-made fantasy world like Islamia together.

I think the posters were fair satire. What students can learn is that satire is very effective, so why not make up some "Osama Bin Laden is Our Friend and 9/11 is our fault because we won't convert to Islam." posters.
Stop whining and start acting to oppose evil in a civil manner.

Greek girl:
Why would an act of forgery (a prosecutable offense under US law) be "well actionable"?
What these people at GWU did not only was an act of FORGERY but one of cowardice and defamation and thus does NOT deserve the dignity of a legitimate response (except possibly that of prosecution for forgery).
Unless of course you look favorably upon acts of defamation, forgery, and cowardice....

From the article, BEFORE it was discovered that it was indeed seven of the GWU Vichy Left who perpetrated a vicious hoax upon their fellow students:
____________
SA Executive Vice President Brand Kroeger, who also did not attend Monday night's meeting, said GW administrators should take serious action against any students involved with creating and or hanging the posters.
Kroeger said, "I would support expulsion. These acts are completely heinous."

The universities administrators have already decided against the Islam awareness organizers and have now sided with the Islamofascists, because the Muhammedans pay full fees apart from a few other reasons.
In Australia they suck big time to make Islamists comfy:

This story reminds me of a show on the BBC called TOP GEAR. It is a car show with a very left-wing Anti-American host.
In one episode, the cast goes to America, and attempt to show the world how ugly America is. They first go to Miami with $1000. The plot is to buy a cheap car, drive it to New Orleans, sell it and fly back to Britain, all along showing their BBC audience how ugly the US is. So first they visit the scummiest neighborhood in Miami to buy an old car, replete with stories from locals about how you will die if you pass a certain street.
Then they drive across the state making snide remarks about fat, stupid Americans, George Bush, Christians, Republicans, the Deep South, and how some Americans are now breeding with vegetables. You couldn't get any more vile or radical on the DailyKos website. And this is a BBC car show.
Then, they go into Alabama and paint provocative graffiti on their cars to attract hostile attention from rednecks to prove how intolerant Americans are, graffiti like MANLOVE and some slur about Jesus. After that, they drive to New Orleans only to be "surprised" that the "wealthiest nation in the world" has not fixed it yet.
The parting shot for their British audience? Don't go to the States. It's a bad, intolerant, stupid, ugly place with fat rednecks.
Remember, this is an automotive show put on by the BBC. Not a political show. An automotive show.
Check it out on Youtube. Top Gear goes to America.

Awaiting the inevitable...
"MoveOn.org has joined the GWU debate and has found evidence that the seven GWU Forgery defendants were actually planted at GWU two years ago by organizers of the Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week, patiently planned their attack, and posted the fliers at the optimum time to bring maximum publicity to the IFAW forums scheduled there for late October..."

As a tax payer, I'd be happy to see my taxes go to a fund to send these students for a couple of semesters of University study in Saudi Arabia.
I think it would be the best education they could get in the reality of a Muslim society. They might even become future contributors to Jihadwatch.

From the linked article above:
Doudou Diene, UN special rapporteur on racism and racial discrimination, has recently reported to the UN Human Rights Council that Islamophobia has been on the rise since the 9/11 attacks.
........................................
No mention that Islamo-fascism has itself been on the rise since 9/11.
It sneers at the term "Islamo-fascism". Admittedly, this term is not perfect. But it ignores the fact that GWB actually used it because he wanted to name radical Islam while noting that most Islam is "peaceful".
It also refers to "Islamo-fascism awareness week" focusing on the oppression of women in Islam, which it indicates is "alledged".
My favorite thing, though, is the message which showed up at the bottom of the site, in very large type, "You Are Not Authorized to View This Page". LOL
