CAIR excoriates Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week for daring "unabashedly" to invite "Muslim student associations to support the freedom of Americans from Muslim terrorists"

I think Ibrahim Hooper is slipping on a banana peel in this one. After all, we are all supposed to believe, on pain of denunciation as "Islamophobes" and bigots, that Muslim student associations and all Muslims in America already support the freedom of Americans from Muslim terrorists. Heaven forfend that we should ever breathe the shadow of a hint that any Muslim in America could possibly, in any way, shape, or form, ever have even so much as cast a glance in the direction of Osama bin Laden, or harbor even the tiniest bit of sympathy for the global jihad. Yet here is CAIR, big as life, posting an article from the Minnesota Daily called "David Horowitz Intends to Spread Fear, Hatred," which contains this paragraph:

The Freedom Center will provide all materials necessary to any college student willing to host a week at their campus, including a pre-made petition - which unabashedly invites Muslim student associations to support the freedom of Americans from Muslim terrorists.

O horror! O shame! Not that! They're actually offering Muslim student associations an opportunity to come out against terrorism? It's an affront! An insult! An offense! Cry havoc, and let slip the dogs of war! What racist Islamophobic bigots they must be, asking Muslims to condemn terrorism! Don't they realize we're all multiculturalists now?

This is the big opportunity for muslim students and other "moderate" muslims to declare their true allegiance.

Let's see if they pass the test in any way, shape or form.

I'll even settle for a tiny bit of patriotism.
I bet I am going to be disappointed.

Stop being disingenuous - you know very well that it's the combination of the words 'Muslim' and 'terrorist' that Cooper objects too. It implies that America is threatened by Muslim terrorists alone, whereas it is of course, the target of Confucians, Buddhists, Sikhs, Hindus, Taoists (not to mention disaffected Christians and Jews),as well.
The phrase 'fundamentalist Muslim terrorists' might just about have been acceptable to these people - as everyone knows, fundamentalists of all religions are regularly blowing up their fellow human beings. The best policy, however, is to follow EU guidelines and never use the word 'Islamic' or 'Muslim' and the word 'terrorism' in the same breath.

The fact that this kid is stupid is somewhat excusable--she's a kid. But she is also a university student opining in a campus newspaper, so she should have much more sense than this. And the fact that she will pre-emptively dismiss a speaker before hearing one word is really the sign of a closed mind--and that is a terrible waste and of course displays all the obvious signs of her infection with the disease of the Vichy Left.

This really illustrates a deep hatred and mistrust of America and all that it stands for--an assumption that the country CANNOT have a legitimate enemy. It's staggering really. In this infantile fantasy world the author has constructed for herself, the earth is divided between America the Evil Empire and the noble and oppressed masses of "diversity." Whomsoever would actively seek to kill Americans wherever they roam on the globe must somehow be justified. And whomsoever would stand up and simply DEFINE the enemy, to say nothing of what should be done to confront it, must surely be a "hater, bigot, racist."

And so to this spoon-fed, pampered child of America, country is something to be ashamed of. In fact, why even bother having a country at all? Let's just fold it up...admit our grave mistakes and let the noble savages in to enjoy our fertile farms, our Great Lakes, our Grand Canyon, our forests and great cities...

A mind IS a terrible thing to waste.

Just now I saw Dinesh d'Souza on Hannity and Colmes.

He seems to promote his new book 'what makes Christianity great'- sounds to me like he produced a copy of 'Why Christianity is a religion of peace and Islam isn't'- Or is Dinesh just hard on the heels of Robert Spencer?

But he gets airtime on Fox and Robert doesn't.

Why would that be?

How can those of us who see Islam as a menace to so much we hold dear not view CAIR as the ultimate unwitting ally in our cause? To paraphrase Voltaire, if CAIR didn't exist, we'd have to invent it.

Only problem is that few will notice Hooper's little slip of the tongue, which he will swear is merely justified indignation at the suggestion that muslims are terrorists. Everyone knows that muslims aren't terrorists, everyone except islamophobes. Muslims kill innocent people for allah and that makes them better muslims, not terrorists.

Hooper is a mendacious traitor which should be plain for all, even the FBI and DHS, to see. God save the MSA from being intimidated into denoucing islamic terrorism! GOD FORBID!!! Let's hear some muslim cries of victimhood, persecution, bigotry, islamophobia---boo hoo boo hoo!

The article criticizes David Horowitz for ill-researched and often nonsensical tirades without any proof or examples; chides Mark Steyn for supporting immigration with the condition of assimilation (Oh, the Horror!...Assimilation with the host country!); and asserts that Islamo-Fascism week's agendas resonate with intolerance and fear without a single example or any substantiating evidence. In addition, Ad Hominem attacks on Rick Santorium and Ann Coulter without addressing any of the issues they address. Then to top it off, the author sums it up as a complete and utter insult on our intellect…

Huh? Unless you're talking about the intellect of a 5th grader.

So it's David Horowitz who Intends to Spread Fear and Hatred. No mention of Muslim terrorists.

Mr. Horowitz should make up a survey listing dozens of murderous quotes directly from the Koran and hadieth.

Send the surveys to all the Muslim Student associations, asking that they be distributed to members.

To the right of each quote should be two check - off boxes:

Do you agree that this quote is a devine mandate from God, and that Muslims are obliged to believe and obey it?

Do you believe that this quote is immoral, and no Muslim is obliged to believe or obey it?

Most Muslims are going to say they are against terrorism, but are they prepared to renounce specific instructions in their scriptures that support terrorism and oppression?

Force them to be specific.

Send CAIR a copy also.

sheikh yer'mami,

I saw D'Souza on H & C as well.

Now, in his estimation, he supports Christianity as the basis for modern science, *cough* Spencer, the Crusades were vital as a defense against Islamic expansion, *cough* Spencer, and is merely shifting his position again in an attempt to pander to a new group to sell his books.

Did Dinesh ever have an original thought about anything?

Lying and blatant self-contradiction aren't problems for muslims. After all, their prophet manufactured Allah according to his needs, shaped Allah's character according to his temperaments, and fabricated revelations suiting to his lust and greed.

Hoopaphrenia...a natural muslim reaction to those deemed to be spreading mischief around the land, in this case fear and hatred. David is going to spread fear and hatred of what?? Oh Islam, now thats bad. And he's he is going to do it by what means? Oh The Spenser Method of telling the truth. That's really bad. The Hoopaphrenic must oppose this.
The Hoopaphrenic Society of Islam, was formed for this purpose. Their job is to stop David from spreading. This must be very frustrating to them, that they can't quite shut off the fountain of truth. Maybe Morgaan is right, someone slipped the Hooperites some Sodium Amytal. We used to give that to big burly insane guys to calm them down...knock them out was more like it...They do seem to be a bit confused...

Think this alleged assault really happened?

PRINCETON, N.J. — The 12-year-old sister of a suspect in the alleged terrorist plot to attack Fort Dix was attacked at her middle school, two of her relatives said Tuesday.

The girl was choked and punched in the face while walking down the hallway to class by a teenager, her father and older sister said.

"He grabs her from the back and chokes her," said Inas Shnewer, 19, relaying how her sister described the attack. "He says, 'You terrorist,' and then he punches her, and then he tells her that 'your brother is never going to come back."'

Cherry Hill Police Detective Lt. William Kushina said Tuesday that the police department and the school district are jointly investigating the claims. No charges have been filed.

The family, who asked that the girl's name be withheld to protect her, said she was assaulted Sept. 19 inside the Carusi Middle School in Cherry Hill.

The next day, the family said, she went to a school guidance counselor and told the counselor what had happened.

Inas Shnewer and her father, Ibrahim, said the school advised the family and the girl to keep quiet and specifically said not to go to the police.

The school district disputed that, saying that school personnel did not tell the family or the girl to keep quiet, but acknowledged that the allegations should have been reported to the police.

The family said school officials showed the girl photographs of every male student in the school, but she did not immediately recognize the assailant as a student there.

The girl is the younger sister of Mohamad Ibrahim Shnewer, one of six men scheduled to go on trial in January for an alleged plot to attack soldiers at Fort Dix.

"If (her brother) intended to carry out terrorist activity, then he should be punished if he is convicted," said Afsheen Shamsi, a spokeswoman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations. "But this is a 12-year-old girl who had nothing to do with (the case)."

The girl returned to Jordan with her mother and two other sisters last week because she was so upset, the Shnewers said.

Kushina said police have been on guard in case of any community backlash against the families of suspects in the plot case. But until now, he said, there have been no serious cases.

Please download copy of "The Arab's Contribution to European Civilization," by Mahmud al-Akkad. The author, a Moroccan who immigrated to Cairo, was the best know Arabic writer in the 20th century. He was also a friend and co-ideologue of Hasan al-Banna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood. Arab regimes routinely send Western news agencies copy from the above mentioned book, and material gets into editorials and stories.

http://www.zawag.tv/islam_english/arab%27simpact/first.html

In spite of his Maghrib background Akkad was a champion of Arab supremacism. Western leaders chose to spew vomit of the pacifist egalitarianism of true islam, because they have been conditioned to rely on the Arab savage for a "representation of the Other," in Saidian terms. As I write polls report that only 30% of Americans distrust Muslims; that should be 99%.

The original article by Chelsey Perkins appeared in "The Minnesota Daily," the student newspaper at the University of Minnesota. You can read the article here:
http://www.mndaily.com/articles/2007/10/15/72163869

I have copied the text of an email I sent to Ms. Perkins, University President Bruininks, and each individual member of the Board of Regents. I await their response.

Ms. Perkins,

I want to give you the chance to withdraw and or apologize for your article you published in The Minnesota Daily newspaper entitled, "Islamofascism Awareness Week." I will avoid impuning your integrity or engaging in ad hominem attacks, so we will see if you can do the same.

Please refute the following claims about Muslim jihadists, militant Islamists, and Islmo-Fascists:
The goal of the Islamo-Fascist jihad is world domination.
The Islamo-Fasacist Jihad demands the suppression of all Infidels.
The Islamo-Fascist Jihad is a war against Women.
The Islamo-Fascist Jihad is a war against Gays.
The Islamo-Fascist Jihad is a war against Christians.
The Islamo-Fascist Jihad is a war against Jews.
The Islamo-Fasacist Jihad is a war against non-religious people.

Just as you have pulled source text from the Terrorism Awareness Project website, allow me to go to the same source and ask you to formulate a rational objection to "the right of all people to live in freedom and dignity; the freedom of the individual conscience: to change religions or have no religion at all; the equality of dignity of women and men; the right of all people to live free from violence, intimidation, and coercion."

Your curious choice of words in the following quote from you article begs some important questions:
"The Freedom Center will provide all materials necessary to any college student willing to host a week at their campus, including a pre-made petition - which unabashedly invites Muslim student associations to support the freedom of Americans from Muslim terrorists."

What's wrong with inviting Muslim students to condem the actions of extremists, terrorists, and murderers? Shouldn't all Muslim students that decry and detest the inhuman atrocities committed by Muslim extremists, namely terrorism, stoning of women, and beheading of "infidels," be encouraged to stand up for human rights? Do you support or condem the actions of Muslim extremists and terrorists?

Please explain what is wrong with calling on all campus "political, cultural, ethnic and religious groups to stand with [the event promoters] in opposing all forms of religious supremacism, violence and intimidation." More importantly, why would you NOT encourage people to stand up in the face of such tyranny?

I have submitted a copy of this email to the President Bruininks and the Board of Regents, so I am sure they will look forward to your response, also.

Sincerely,
Jason Attas
Waco, TX

The comments are still posted at the CAIR site, and more: I just noticed that their 'Donate' button has 'CAIR is Zakat-eligible' under it.

Further proof that muslims define supporting terrorism and terrorists as 'charity.'

Forget the fiction of Randy Rhodes . . .but absolutely, color me skeptical . ..

The girl is the younger sister of Mohamad Ibrahim Shnewer, one of six men scheduled to go on trial in January for an alleged plot to attack soldiers at Fort Dix.

Based on the story provided at your link, this family is facing the stresses and financial burden of a very expensive trial.

Further down in the article, it is revealed that:

The girl returned to Jordan with her mother and two other sisters last week because she was so upset, the Shnewers said.

Travelling to Jordan would take some preparation and since Eide was this past weekend, it wouldn't surprise me if it was disclosed that the travel arrangements for this trip were made in advance of this "alleged assault" in anticipation of the holiday.

The alleged 'assault' serves as a convenient pretext for a lawsuit which would likely be settled out of court, and end up funding this vacation/trip with possibly a little extra for the son's defen$e fund. Courtesy of the infidel host, dhimmified taxpayers. I smell Jihad in this 'story'.

These comments clearly illustrate what a crock CAIR's "Worldwide Condemnation of Terrorism" is. They are too busy trying to cover Islam's role in inspiring terrorism. What do you expect from a group that refuses to condemn Hamas and Hizbollah?

Amazing to read that Chelsey Perkins doesn't even acknowledge the fact that Islamic terrorism exists in any form in here article, as she chooses only to excoriate some of its campus speakers.

Does this cool-aid drinker have any awareness of what is going on out there when it comes to terrorism? Or is she one of these Bush haters that is so blinded by that hate that she chooses to not believe terrorism exists.

Is she so determined to live in a state of denial that she chooses to criticize those that would bring an awareness of the threat of terrorism?

People like this where busy telling us that the Nazis' were no threat to us in 1938 as European countries began falling one after another to Hitlers armies.

The article is no longer to be found at CAIR and can't be found using their search function. I searched on "David Horowitz" and "unabashedly" and "awareness" and so on, and nothing turns up except under the Horowirtz search, but that article is not among the returns for his name.

Curious, eh?

Also apparently no longer available is the article in which they tried to tar Rudy Giuliani by mentioning that one of his advisors was an "unidicted co-conspirator" in the Iran-Contea affair. That article was posted there just a couple of weeks after their tantrum about being named unidicted co-conspirators themselves. When they were so designated, it was unlawful and un-American as far as they were concerned. But when it is someone who has the goods on islam, then it's OK. Also curious is the fact that that tantrum is also no longer available on their site. Apparently they believe that people have no memories longer than 15 minutes ago.

Have a heart, you lot. If the phrase 'Muslim terrorists' achieves common currency, then the next thing you know, people will start parroting the ravings of that bigoted Islamophobe and notorious dimwit, Ibn Khaldoun, about Islam being unique among the world's religions in the way that it mandates aggressive warfare against non-believers.
What responsible Muslim community leader, who after all, only wants what is best for the American people and is dedicated to what all should agree is in their long term interest, could allow that to happen?

CAIR by now is well-known as a terrorism organization (it's a HAMAS spin-off). Its officials' view of Islam, despite their whining to the contrary, is that Islam SHOULD be slaughtering the 'unbelievers.'

CAIR's Freudian slip reveals what those of us who have been paying attention have known all along: Islam is a grave, homicidal menace to America and the world.

Notice, too, that while CAIR advocates Islamic homicides, since it believes them to be a legitimate cause, like all Muslims its officials are unable to justify them. The best these people have been able to do is lie to us about Islam being a religion of peace being 'hijacked' by 'extremists.'
