Andy, Atlas and me

geller_bostom_spencer_3.jpg

Andrew G. Bostom, editor of The Legacy of Jihad and the forthcoming Legacy of Islamic Antisemitism, Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs, and me in the capital of Old Europe, Brussels, Belgium, where I've been all week for some counterjihad activities.

Robert-

You WERE sitting down in that photo, weren't you?

Kudos!

Again, I am relieved to hear you are getting the word out!

Posted by: eve_anne_gelical [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 10:50 AM

...you keep good company......

Posted by: exsgtbrown [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 11:10 AM

I hope you had a chance to to visit the Hotel de Ville at the Grand Place and quaff down a Duvel (or two).

Also, I can't decide what looks better on you, that cool tie or Pamela.

Posted by: Xero G [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 11:25 AM

Shouldn't Pamela be in the middle? ;-)

Posted by: Infidel Pride [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 11:41 AM

XRDC...LOL

So this is what is meant by 'counterjihad'.

Posted by: duh_swami [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 11:46 AM

NIce pic.

Posted by: GrennBeck [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 11:47 AM

Tsk,tsk, Robert! There you go again, debauching yourself in the company of "uncovered meat." The Imam would be pissed! ( Ahem..... I am NOT referring to Mr. Bostom. *LOL* )

Hey, there's no reason why we can't ENJOY The Counterjihad!

By the way, could you send us some chocolates??

Actually, XRDC, if you look closely at the picture, it appears that Pamela and Andrew are HOLDING Robert UP. A little too much of that Duvel, I speculate.

Posted by: One_of_the_last_few_Patriots_left [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 12:42 PM

Or perhaps, Pamela, Andrew, and Robert are holding EACH OTHER up.

Posted by: One_of_the_last_few_Patriots_left [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 12:46 PM

Robert-How do you always get the Dolly-Birds? Michelle Malkin, Ayan hirsi Ali Now Pamela Geller.
No wonder you live in secure undisclosed locationville!

Posted by: rookie [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 12:55 PM

Beauty and the beasts.

Posted by: Cornelius [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 1:07 PM

Cornelius

I wouldn't characterize Pamela as a beast ;-)

Belgium has some of the worst laws anywhere -- but brews the tastiest ales. Try De Dolle's "Stille Nacht," my own favorite, but beware -- it has a merry little kick to it.

It is interesting to note that the Qur'anic proscription of "strong drink" (5:90-91) cites Satan's desire "to cast among you enmity and hatred" as the reasons for the ban. "Leave it aside in order that ye may succeed." Muhammad was clearly striving to maintain cohesion in his army, the better to attain his goals of plunder and conquest.

Oh, that's easy. If I had to choose, I'd lose the tie in a second.

Posted by: traeh [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 1:26 PM

Pamela looks very friendly :-)

Posted by: champ [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 1:28 PM

moules et frites!

Please e-mail your question to debate@foxnews.com. Include your name, town, state and contact number for verification.

Please keep your question sharp, brief and to the point. And let us know which candidate you'd like us to ask.

champ, we should put out one of those t-shirts:
"Babes love counterjihadists" and get Pamela to put her picture on it...

Posted by: traeh [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 1:36 PM

Looks like that guy on the left is putting up a fake smile.

Posted by: wodan82 [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 1:41 PM

Wondan82, "that guy on the left" is Andrew Bostom, M.D., who wrote

The Legacy of Jihad: Islamic Holy War and the Fate of Non-Muslims

and

The Legacy of Islamic Antisemitism: From Sacred Texts to Solemn History.

The smile doesn't look phony, just big and maybe a little stereotypically classic, anatomically speaking. The eyes look very genuine to me.

Robert, if you get some free time, go visit the city of Brugge. Or go to Ghent, Antwerp, Ieper (and Flanders Fields), etc.

Posted by: Bigfoot [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 2:31 PM

Robert,
Which one is you? *grin*

Posted by: Crusader [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 2:39 PM

Actually, I can't get past the tie. I don't own any ties, but if I did, I would want one just like it.

Posted by: duh_swami [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 2:41 PM

Notice how Robert reaches his right hand all the way around to grasp Bostom's shoulder in a comradely way, but his left hand rests very delicately on the shoulder of Geller.

A gentleman and a scholar!

Posted by: Ynkedoodl2 [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 2:54 PM

Thank you.

Robert, listening to your speech yesterday, at the end of that, long exhausting day when we were all beginning to flag was like a shot of adrenaline. I sort of got the feeling you have done this sort of thing before.

Two Words: Brain Trust

Posted by: Morgaan Sinclair [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 3:04 PM

traeh -- great idea! But I'm a little stuck on her showing so much undergarment. You're a guy -- should she button up or button down? Like I have to ask. May explain Robert's contented grin :-))

Posted by: champ [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 3:05 PM

ROBERT: Please hire me as your assistant !!

Posted by: Strikeitrich [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 3:09 PM

That sight alone is sure to give jihaids nightmares and heart attacks :)
(thumbs up)

It's the Three Kuffarigos!

Posted by: John D. Infidel [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 4:05 PM

The Three Kuffarigos ... I like that!

Geller should dress however she likes. None of this shari'a dress code business for a woman who's practically Aeon Flux.

And yeah, that's one cool tie ...

And ... that's the happiest I've ever seen Bostom, and I don't think that's a fake grin. It's good to see him happy and in such good company.

Posted by: Morgaan Sinclair [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 4:12 PM

Pam's a real hottie....

Posted by: general pershing [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 4:40 PM

Great Pic! Fighting Jihad and Islamic Supremacism isn't always grim. Wasn't it Hubert Humphrey who was dubbed "The Happy Warrior" ?

Happy Warriors Unite!

Posted by: alexon [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 4:50 PM

Lazar, that is hilarious!

Posted by: alexon [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 4:52 PM

I am not sure if this tie is by sharia law...

Who says we I-phobes have no sense of humour?

Posted by: Ynkedoodl2 [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 5:27 PM

Robert is there any chance we get to see and or hear any of the speeches that took place there?
You had some pretty interesting speakers there not at least of course you yourself!
Anyway enjoy old Europe and watch out for the odd burning car.

Posted by: Frankish Infidel [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 5:29 PM

Lazar! Funny picture!

Posted by: champ [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 5:48 PM

If Robert's tie is silk, it's haram.

Posted by: Abscedere [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 6:05 PM

Robert, I know this is the kind of thing you've been encouraging for years. Let's hope it's not too little too late.

Posted by: USBeast [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 19, 2007 6:29 PM

LazarofSerbia ...

That is the funniest thing I have seen in a month. I sent it straight to RS so he could see it. I dunno, I think he looks just fine in that turban.

However, Pamela gets the shaft, no?

NYSTERICALLY FUNNY.

THANK YOU!

I hope not.

The Muscles in Brussels!

Kudos to all for keeping the Flame of the West alive.

(With the best-looking women on our side, from Pamela to Hirsi Ali, how could we dare lose?)

Freedom!!!
