Al-Qaida anger at Jazeera on Laden tape

It's never easy when you become estranged from a loved one.

From AP:

Al-Qaida sympathizers have unleashed a torrent of anger against Al-Jazeera television, accusing it of misrepresenting Osama bin Laden's latest audiotape by airing excerpts in which he criticizes mistakes by insurgents in Iraq.

Users of a leading Islamic militant Web forum posted thousands of insults against the pan-Arab station for focusing on excerpts in which bin Laden criticizes insurgents, including his followers.

"Users of a leading Islamic militant Web forum posted thousands of insults..."

You mean the muhammadmen didn't address the issue at hand and debate it rationally?

snicker

If Osama "criticized" al Qaeda, it was like a coach in a huddle telling his players what they were doing wrong and then exhorting them to go out and do their best. Some people can't tell the difference between attempts at constructive criticism and condemnation.

The recording aired Monday contained unusually strong criticism of insurgents in Iraq from bin Laden, who urges them to admit mistakes and unify. Bin Laden even aknowledges that he advises himself not to be "fanatical" in his stances.

"Some of you have been lax in one duty, which is to unite your ranks," bin Laden said. "Beware of division ... Muslims are waiting for you to gather under a single banner to champion righteousness. Be keen to oblige with this duty."

"I advise myself, Muslims in general and brothers in al-Qaida everywhere to avoid extremism among men and groups," he said.

Great!!!! Maybe now Al Qaeda will blow up Al Ja-Zeera

Al Jazeera not extreme enough? Even OBL calling himself out...you mean there is an even deeper level of hate?

Got my popcorn going and my slippers on waiting for reports on tonight's moonbat brain fevers...DAMN I'm going to miss IFAW when it's over!

Son of Laden is discovering that extremism is reflexive: it bends back on itself. The Revolution eats its own children and the mujahideen devour one another and other Muslims.

Islam's biggest failure is that it doesn't understand reflexivity, the golden rule, except in a partial way at best.

I guess that's what "love your enemy" is partly about, reflexivity, instant karma. (Love your enemy doesn't mean being an absolute pacifist, so no need to attack my use of the phrase, warriors.)

No love lost there then.

Why dont they resolve it in true Islamic fashion by sending some suicide bombers against Al'Jazeera or an execution squad as the Broadcasters cant be Muslim and have almost certainly offended Allah?

I was reading something on an other site that addresses the reaction perfectly. What the other poster pointed out is that these fools can never, I REPEAT NEVER take criticism and never admit they did anything wrong. Their reaction is the only thing that can be done when there is nothing wrong. This is a form of pride a perverted form but pride none the less. These people are very angry and no nothing of compassion, forgiveness, humility, long suffering or slow to anger. That is the definition of LOVE.

Proverbs 16:18-19
Before destruction is pride, And before stumbling -- a haughty spirit. Better is humility of spirit with the poor, Than to apportion spoil with the proud.

الأمثال 16:18-19
قبل التدمير هو فخر ، وقبل ان تتعثر -- ا متغطرس الروح. هو افضل من روح التواضع مع الفقراء ، من ان تقسم الغنائم مع بالفخر.

Me thinks this MF doesn't know his Koran too well, for it is written:

'Do not transgress the limits'- and OBL certainly did transgress more often than not.

Posted by: sheik yer'mami [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 25, 2007 10:01 PM

Is this the turning of the worm ?

Is Al Jazeera planning on being more than the lowlife it is ?

Does it see the writing on the wall and is trying to find a spot for itself as a voice for the "moderates" ?

What a joke.

There are no moderates in islam, just an evil ideology - with stupid followers.

Like Hooper (stupid and offensive) Like Naseem (thick). Like Mohammed (stupid and crazy).

It's a good thing they have the Quran and ahadith, to guide them out of this problem...
Allah always knows best....

If you are a staff member of Al-Jazzera, perhaps it is time to take early retirement.........

"If you are a staff member of Al-Jazzera, perhaps it is time to take early retirement..." -tanstaafl

I know what you're saying but I think it misses the real power balance between media and figurehead.
Bin Laden is nothing without the media covering him and airing his tapes and building Al-Qaida up to be this mythical force of power and influence.

The power and influnce are all in the media. Al-Jazeera has 1000 times the power and influence of Bin Laden. He is nothing without them and the Western media too. Western media have many times the influence and power of Al-Jazeera but they choose not to use it. Or, I should say, they squander it on Princess Diana, or O.J. Simpson, or the sensational crimes du jour. Virtually none of the power of Western media goes into defeating jihad or Supremacist Islam. In fact, if anything, the power is used to build him up, he and his Egyptian sidekick Zawahiri (sp?), to be THE representatives of Islam and Muslims in the world today. And to an extent this is self-fulfilling.
But that power of representation would vanish entirely if the media stopped covering him.

Al-Jazeera has no reason to fear Bin Laden and his frothing followers. Quite the opposite.

I suppose they could just be promoting their new slogan "Al Jazeera, We report, You decry"

And still he is the one who got away...with 30 wives and heaven knows how many sons (daughters don't count) and the extended family clan in SA... and we play the fools for not pushing the Paki's to come clean. Or is he in Iran?

Rest assured the whole ummah backs this PoS, and there are hundreds, if not thousands who know where he is. One would suspect that even the US-government knows where he is, but I digress because that would mean going into conspiracy theories, and we have too many fruitcakes already...

Sounds like some spirochete is eroding OBL's cortex.

Babbling from Waziristan.

And the minions are getting scared that the Leader is turning goofy before them.

Islam: kill the mind, the rest will follow.

`conundrum,
what did you expect?
It's the dailykook...lol

At any rate, looks like el-jizz-ya isn't "doing it right" according to previous orders of their master.
I just wonder why, if he didn't want it mentioned, why he'd put it ON the tape to begin with?
Oh yeah, that's right...some of it was meant only to pass on crypto messages to lackeys (had he STFU and not mentioned it, nobody would've gotten wise to it)
which we picked up...and once again, cat's out of the bag (historical perspective, for those wondering what the real magnitude of this is about):

"AF reports fresh-water condensor has broken down."
(see Battle of Midway,1942)

What a dumbass...lmao

infantile insults

lol

Sheik, you might call me a fruitcake, but I firmly believe bin Laden and his whole extended family have been protected by Bush since 9/11.

HMMM UKluke...I appreciate your enthusiasm and understand your disgust, but foul language and ideas of killing all muslims, are usually deleted because this site is monitored by the enemies of freedom, who take remarks like that and try to pretend Spenser said them or advocates them. I doubt your post will last long, if it's deleted, thats why...

Posted by: duh_swami [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 26, 2007 10:31 AM

We should use this to fight them. It is well known that they have a proclivity to turn on each other at the slightest provocation.

So why don't we use these websites, OBL tapes and AlJazz TV to foment the rift? We hae the technology to edit i.e. cut-n-paste and post/air this stuff and they are too uneducated to see what we're doing. The leadership may figure it out, but the uneducated huddled masses can be manipulated.

Just look how easy it is for the imams to create rioting in every muslim country based on a cartoon drawing. These people don't even know why they're seething other than some imam told them they should.

Let's use that by planting rumors on websites and through the airwaves, and watch islam implode on itself.

And any seething/rioting that takes place in western countries, just round em up and deport them to a muslim country where seething is allowed.

Posted by: walterc [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 26, 2007 12:44 PM

duh_swami, it should be deleted. It's probably the work of some leftist fresh from one of Spencer's talks trying to discredit the site.

Posted by: alexon [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 26, 2007 4:31 PM

Or it could be a CAIR plant too, and the longer it stays on here the sooner it will be featured on their site as representative of what JW (and Robert) is all about (i.e. hate, bigotry, and "islamophobia").

And if it is real it doesn't help.

Posted by: alexon [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 26, 2007 5:13 PM

Alexon...It's been there all day, I guess no one on the staff noticed. I was nice about it because I didn't recognize the name, and thought he probably just did not know any better. But I also notice, that seems to be the only post he made, on this thread or others. At least I don't remember seeing others. You may be right that it was a plant. I don't put anything past these people.

Duh_swami and Alexon--

My apologies that the particular comment didn't disappear sooner-- it's been an unusual day in that I am just now getting around to looking over the comments.

When something like this shows up, please send the comment (it's easiest if you copy the link on the timestamp for the particular comment) to director@jihadwatch.org . That ensures the fastest possible turnaround time on getting rid of it.

Thanks,

interestinconundrum,

I've heard (well, read) other posters comments about the dailykos, though this was the first time I've looked anything on it, myself.

Are these people serious, or is it some kind of sick joke?

I need some water. My brain is starting to sizzle, and not with ideas.

"Norman, coordinate!"

Posted by: Abscedere [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 26, 2007 10:31 PM

They're DEAD serious...after all they sponsored that YearlyKooK convention (with the help of their party owner george "the capo" soros)...we all know who showed up for that one
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2006/6/27/12227/1297
(who are also owned by soros & the commie kossacks), so it speaks for itself as the math adds up.
Even scarier...their affiliations...

That says it all...

Posted by: jcom972 [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 26, 2007 11:36 PM

...which reminds me,
if OBL says "the darkness has become pitch black" in reference to their collapsing position,
http://www.longwarjournal.org/archives/2007/10/the_darkness_has_bec.php
makes ya wonder where the yearlykook attendees stand on that, hmmm?
