Al-Tabatabai clearly shares Osama's vision of an Islamized America. He just doesn't think his strategy is as effective as it could be. From MEMRI (thanks to all who sent this in):
In a letter to Osama bin Laden, published in the Kuwaiti daily Al-Watan, Kuwaiti MP Dr. Walid Al-Tabatabai, from the Islamic bloc in the Kuwaiti parliament, praised the jihad fighters' activities and advised him on avoiding mistakes in the jihad that Al-Qaeda is waging.Al-Tabatabai's letter, which came in response to the speech by bin Laden that was broadcast on September 11, 2007, appealed to bin Laden to distinguish between fighting the American invader and attacking the Muslims, and to refrain from random operations which harmed innocents because such operations damaged the image of jihad and sabotaged the spreading of Islam. Al-Tabatabai also called on bin Laden to consult with Muslim clerics in order to reassess Al-Qaeda's activities and avoid mistakes in the future.

Al-Tabatai wrote: "...The author of this letter (i.e. Tabatabai) is one of those who appreciate and honor the jihad that you carried out during the liberation of Afghanistan from the Soviet Russian invasion... Your most recent speech, which the media broadcast several days ago, aroused in me many questions regarding its negative impact, considering that it was lacking a political dimension. Unfortunately, the speech was like a lifesaver to the American president, who is dealing with great internal pressures to withdraw his forces from Iraq... Thus, commentators said that Bush found what he wished for in this speech, since [bin Laden] provided [Bush] with clear-cut evidence of [the need] to restrain his adversaries: That is, the continued presence of the U.S. military in Iraq is for the sake of defending the entire American people from the ongoing Al-Qaeda threat... Your speech damaged all the efforts underway to speed up the American exit from Iraq – unless you are not interested in this!!
"Also, Sheikh Osama, how can you preach to the American people [to join] Islam when you boldly acknowledge that you are behind the killing of thousands of them in 9/11? Don't you think... that this will arouse in them revulsion towards Islam? You must either call on them to join Islam by making them to want to, with beautiful words, or you must fight them. But when you declare war against them and fight them, and at the same time preach to them to join Islam – these two things do not sit well with each other; moreover, they will only increase [the Americans'] hostility towards the Muslims, their hatred of Islam, and their revulsion towards it."

As a proud infidel, it shocks me that I know more about muhammed than this ungrateful Kuwaiti. bin Laden calls on us to convert because Muhammed did so when he was spreading peace in the 7th century.
As for Kuwait itself, the MP must be mad that there are more Americans in his country than Kuwaitis. Having been there, I can attest to that. John in STL

Sounds suspiciously Persian in origin to me. Even if he happens to call himself a Sunni, and is a member of the "Islamic Block," he's clearly by origin a "Persian" Shi'a, and can't be trusted. Arrest that man. Seize his property. And while you are at it, go after the rest of the Shi'a or those who are only waiting for the right moment, when Iranian troops are near, to show that they are Shi'a. Go ahead. No need to wait for the Shi'a Fifth Column to reveal itself when it is too late.

As we have seen in Bosnia, when our country aids, assists, and saves Muslims from violence, there is absolutely no gratitude. In fact they probably despise us even more, because Islam is supposed to be "superior" to Western civilization, despite the fact that we have bailed them out repeatedly. I do not understand why we continue to give away billions of dollars to Muslim nations and allow this kind of sentiment to exist without any consequences. The only thing Islamic nations understand is power, and that is all they will respect. They view our generosity as the jiza tax and weakness.

HMMM sounds like one of the henchmen is unhappy with the boss. It takes a pretty strong egoistic muslim to start telling Bin Laden what to do and how to do it. No matter how high ranking some muslim is, he is not the favorite hero of 'jillions' of regular muslims, who's opinions of Bin Laden are close to apostasy. That's the entire problem with catching up with him. You can beat Bin Laden but it's harder to beat his tag team...

9/11 hastened the conversion of thousands of Americans to Islam. I read an estimate saying that since 9/11 twenty thousand American converted each year which is over hundred thousand Americans. Impressionable kids are now introduced to a fantastical version of Islam in elementary school across the country. More Muslim women are becoming teachers and Islamic schools (Madrasa) are coming to town near you.
More prison inmates and military personnel are converting thanks to the government funded Jihadi chaplains. Thousands of well educated white women are converting to Islam and bringing the girl-next-door appeal to Da’wa machine. Under Bush a record number of Muslims have entered the U.S. and he is planning to bring even many many more Shiite and Sunni Iraqis.
Islam benefitted from 911 and will continue to benefit because it has no real rival as Christianity is a joke in the West and Christian hierarchs are busy helping Islam spread by their actions and inactions.
Muslims are steadily growing and the U.S. in most geographic locals is no different than most of Europe in attitudes and mindset.

One article I read said 25,000 a year. 25,000 in a nation of three hundred million.
I thought Islam was the in thing. They can't find more than 100 (two per state, on average?) people a day to join the umma?
At that rate, it would only take about 10,000 years for America to become Muslim. If we're talking majority status then we can cut that in half and it would still be 5,000 years before even a majority of the country has converted to Islam. Will Islam last that long? Will we?

The Jihaad is real.
The trillionair sheiks pay the mullas to run the brainwashing Madrassahs to teach as many lower class and poorer middle class moslem males that to die for allah is the greatest accomplishment. They are trained from as young an age as possible...and sent out to suicide bomb for allah all over the world ...and to fight the jihaad which the trillionaire sheiks want to eliminate as many young moslem males as possible ...in order to create the greatest number of single moslem women to fill their huge harems and the huge harems of their many sons and grandsons.....a gigantic number.
The sheiks send out harem recruiters to scout for the most and best moslem females for their vast harems. These recruiters are paid well if they succeed. Also sometimes the women are drugged and brainwashed to believe they should be in harems.
That is the root cause of the jihaad.
The question is...how do we shut down all the hate-kill brainwashing Madrassahs?
Perhaps only a one world government would have such power to do that...eh?
New world order?
But one with a good and careing true democracy government which benefits everyone.
Can humanity accomplish that?
I like to think so.
Or else...maybe if this message goes all around this planet..somehow it could get real loud to the extent that it might possibly reach the ears and eyes of the unfortunate madrassah boys...maybe opening their eyes to what how and why they are being destroyed...so that the wealthy sheiks can put their potential brides into their huge harems.

Seeds of Johad in USA were sown by Bush Sr. who was in wahhabbi pockets and who send American troops to save his wahhabbi masters in Riyadh when Saddam invaded Kuwait. Turns out, he made more rich friends in the bargain... wahhabbis of Kuwait, who repaid the favour in hard cash of 1 mil and pocketing Bush Sr. themselves, in the bargain. Now, no matter what Saudi or Kuwaiti wahhabbis do, Bush's will make sure that American treasury, military and entire government is at the service of wahhabis in Riyadh and Kuwait.
