How can the British government prosecute such a case and at the same time maintain Muslim immigration? Its a case of cognitive dissonance. Its more humane to stop Muslim immigration, then to try to adjudicate cases like this.

Cases like this prove that we can't manage Muslim immigration, we don't know how. Where is the bright line that distinguishes who will be a jihadi from what they have written or said and who won't? There is none.

If you can't adjudicate these cases, and that means all of the ones not tried, not just this one, then that means you can't manage Muslim immigration. If you can't manage Muslim immigration, you shouldn't have it.

Virgil Goode was right. We should stop Muslim immigration. Those who call Goode a bigot and want torture warrants and the courts to decide these types of cases are not being good lawyers or pundits.

To continue the previous point, if you try the ones who don't do jihad terrorism, and you don't try the ones who do, your legal system isn't managing terrorism or immigration. This case brings up the question. What is the ratio of people convicted and put in prison who wouldn't have done jihad to the people not tried who end up doing it?

If the British government doesn't know the answer, why does it have Muslim immigration? Why did it bring this case instead of stopping Muslim immigration. How can they claim to predict that all the other Muslims were not a threat, the ones not tried, and this woman was?

the article misses out crucial details for exactly what she was arrested for, surely not for writing poems as teh article simply alludes to? maybe thats what the eidtor wanted, to create conflict? to deliberately hide information that would make people agree with the verdict rather than have the reader question the courts and sympathise with the young girl, even the photo of her you cannot help feel sympathethic for.

too many details left out of this article to really make me wonder if she really is a terrorist. and if this is a dangerous curve that the UK government is on, arresting folk for poetry, then whats next? bloggers for being "anti" government. to me free speech is fragile and needs protecting.

no i need more info before i can "convict" this young woman in my head. being a muslim does not make her guilty.

I think Dietrich Bonhoeffer was on the mark when he said we must literally "learn to speak the truth". He noted that we must learn to call lies lies-without exception. For example, if a child lies to protect a parent the lie may be understandable (and the fault of the questioner) but it is still a lie. If I understand him correctly, he is saying that for the mind-soul to fully function it has to take a hard-line re lies and that leads to an understanding of the truth-reality. How can people who are permitted to deceive (by Islam) get in such a habit? (BTW, Bonhoeffer thought violence was rooted in deception.)

I would think that she had recorded details of Heathrow airside security, perhaps even maps etc of the building and so on.

It is possible that due to her Martyr desiring status she was letting people know that she had this information on-line. All a guess from reading the information.

Funny thing is that I think that I actually brought a book from W H Smith in Heathrow from this sad person. I guess she is one of those Muslim women who smiles every time there is a terror attack that kills infidels, I have no sympathy for her either.

Absolutely correct! The more one learns about islam, the conclusion that allowing muslim immigration is folly ... is unavoidable.

We need to outlaw islam, bulldoze the mosques, and deport any muslim who will not renounce islam.

Incidently, it is not racist to oppose islam because "muslim" is not a race. Further, it is not anti-religious to outlaw islam - because a sovereign nation has the right to decide whether an ideology qualifies as "religion". We have a right to decide what religion may be practiced on our own soil.

I think you are right. I think that the dogmas, rituals, and trance that results in these belief-systems cripple the ability to ruthlessly identify lies, see objective truth-fact-reality. The ritual-trance is like a drug. When one looks at the Nazi rallies (Heil, and all that), the Japanese Hakko Ichiu (Banzai! Banzai!) and the Allah Snack-bar chants in Islam-there is a eerie similarity in the ritual-trance process.

Ritual is very important to humans but we must be careful to keep our heads. BTW, at least the communists (except for Mao and the little-red-book-rants-) was not prone to ritual and trance.

I think the government, in addition too this verdict, should also prosecute itself for being insensitive, and intolerant of the Islamic need to comit acts of violence against the Kufar. For every successful suit against a Muslim there should be an equal suit against the government, because it is every Muslims highest calling according to the faith to dedicate oneself to violent Jihad, whereby in the act of killing yourself you kill the Kufar. The governement has acted against her Islamic rights in this case and according to its own rules it should also prosecute itself for violating her duties ... her highest calling as a Muslim.

Over the centuries British government has accumulated a set of laws which make just about everything illegal; however they selectively apply law. Rather as a carpenter might only use 10% of his tool kit every day the 90% is there to be used when the need arises.

So far as this lady is concerned - other posters might be able to confirm this – I believe Heathrow airport is largely run by Muslims and Indians so I would guess that this is a carefully targeted prosecution. There is probably more to it than has been published, there always is, but I think the purpose is to warn the (thousands of?) ground level muslim staff at the airport to watch their step.

The scariest thing of all is that this bitch was working at the UK's biggest airport. No mention of whether or not the fuc*witt was actually allowed to work air-side? The consequences of this could have been catastrophic. All the searching of suspicious passengers bypassed by the little bitch passing a few box cutters or razor blades to her "brothers".
Our security services (here and in the USA) must be freed from the ties of political correctness. Muslims who work in security critical areas should be the subject of constant attention, better still deem the risk to be to high. We did not win WW2 by having Germans and Japanese citizens working unmonitored in allied factories, and armed forces!
