It is kind of surprising there hasn't been a large scale follow up attack to 911. Of course, we've certainly been gifted by various Muslims in the country suffering from Sudden Jihad Syndrome and taking their grievances out on Kaffir.

In an open society like ours, there are a plethora of soft targets that could be attacked, which possess minimal security and the potential for maximum casualties. Shopping malls and schools are two possibilities, but what about nursing homes and
hospitals?

Yeah we have laws in the U.S., but people are getting fed up ... and some would even take the "law" into thier own hands and hand out blind justice. We don't want Islam in our country. As things like this story mount, and our government doesn't do anything I think we'll see more and more of these types of things as people turn to blind rage, as the helplessness over what is happening mounts. Unlke Europe everyone has firearms and knows how to use them. The last stat I saw shows there are more firearms in the U.S. than people. The internment of the Japanese was for thier own protection more than anything else ... trust me if the crap hits the fan the government may need to step in to do something like that again. An American attack is tactically possible now that Osama is being defeated in Iraq.

His greatest achievement to date has been 9/11, that was his breathtaking showstopping main successful terror attack on the West, and he has been loath so far to diminish it by a lesser operation.

He apparently has indicated that any attack on America must be approvbed by himself.

But the defeat in Iraq might have him calculating that he must act now, that his hand is being forced and he must act.

This is akin to a SLAPP suit, and should be slapped down, by the justice system, and by whatever laws may be needed to stop this Soak-the-Infidel policy, and what's worse, Soak-the-Infidel and Prevent-Him-From-Taking-Justifiable-Actions-Of-Self-Preservation.

This behavior provides one more item in the long and growing list of reasons why Infidels, and the Lands of the Infidels, cannot be expected to welcome or permit into their midst those who are adherents of the Total Belief-System of Islam. Well, one trillion dollars spent in Iraq and Afghanistan, not to mention the many tens of billions of dollars from America alone, to the likes of Pakistan, malevolent and hopeless, Egypt (ditto), the "Palestinian" Authority (double ditto), is disrupting our economy, certainly. The money spent on schools and roads and so on, the little Civilian Conservation Corps we seem to be funding all over Afghanistan and Iraq so that people can "keep busy" because apparently, the minute they stop being "kept busy" they run off to join the Taliban, or Al Qaeda, or something, so we have become, it seems the permanent employer of all Muslims who forgot to be born with an oil gusher in their backyards.

Hasn't our economy been well and truly disrupted already, as long as we keep falling, Uncle Sap, for the supposed requirement imposed on us, or self-imposed, to make everybody happy ("Is Everybody Happy?" as the bandleader Ted Lewis used to say)because if that Muslim Everbody isn't happy, watch out, because you might just get blown up.

Let's put down the Infidel Man's Burden, please. It was madness to ever pick it up in the first place. We want Muslims to be forced to confront their own political, economic, social, moral, and intellectual failures. We want them to suffer through their own failures and be forced, ultimately, to recognize all the ways -- we can recognize them -- that Islam explains those failures of Muslim states and Muslim societies. There is a chance, at least for the non-Arab Muslims who have another identity outside of Islam to which they may repair, or which they may resurrect, to slowly or quickly move away from Islam. And that would be a good thing. As for the Arabs, whose identity is so wrapped up in Islam --what else do they have? what else have they given, or rather inflicted, on the world? -- are another matter, and only the truly extraordinary will manage to escape the mind-forged manacles of Islam.

At least Americans will use SOME civility- they still give freedom of choice:

2) die
(and going to Canada/Mexico won't cut it)

There has been a rash of incidents around the country in Walmarts. Smells, causing evacuations, small fires, etc.
I think these were tests. Walmart is so much of a symbol of our culture.

I guess when they arrested that kid in Chicago they didn't get his buddies at the Mosque.

You can buy a microphone that will listen to a conversation across the room on info-TV, why not put them (or something more sophisticated)on the nearest Mosque and record all that goes on there?
Of course then you may have to get it translated and then you are back to whom can you trust to do that?

Among other articles that have surfaced recently, Glenn Beck's programs about "The Perfect Day" were along these lines, albiet concerned with attacks on schools rather than shopping malls. More than one author has postulated that the attacks are meant to force a violent backlash against muslims in this country and then serve as a rallying point for muslims worldwide to unite against the west.

So be it. The left, the MSM, and the Bush administration has played down the incidents of sudden jihad syndrome, attempted SJS, and catered to the muslims community in the US and abroad.
I could be wrong, but I personally think people are getting very tired of this crap of pandering to the enemy. When we pass the tipping point, all hell is going to break loose- and consequences be damned- we WILL defend ourselves.

I'm 42. I can't even remember the first time my Dad let me squeeze a trigger. I was probably 4 or 5 years old. Lots of other people were raised the same way. This is one of those facts about our society that so many people fail to appreciate.
Maybe we aren't all cops; maybe we haven't all been in the military; hopefully we've not participated in some violent act against another person- but we still know how to fight.
My Grandad taught my Dad how to shoot... my Dad taught me...and I've taught my kids. Whether it is for pleasure, or hunting, or self defense MANY in our nation share the same honorable tradition of handing down skills and weapons from generation to generation. I suspect that the enemy really doesn't grasp the significance of such traditions, nor the responsibility and duty bound into those traditions. When the tipping point it passed, they'll learn all about our duty, honor, and traditions the hard way through first hand experience.

I agree. Almost everyone I talk to or hear talking about the threat is rightheaded about it. Of course I live in the Midwest and we're conservative here relative to other sections of the nation, but the mental tide has turned in my city. I hear it on the TV, Radio, see it in the Letters to the Editor, hear it on the sidelines at the soccer games, hear it on fishing trips and get togethers at the Lake and so on. People in my area mostly 'get it' now to varying degrees.

Attacks on malls or schools will be the tipping point. We will have the attacks at some point. Historically the people in the United States procrastinate on doing the necessary until they have few alternatives. We're not there yet, but the reluctance to prosecute a brutal campaign against enemies foreign and domestic is fleeting, temporary. Look at the past behavior of the people of the US if you need proof. We are not militaristic by tradition nor do we seek the aggrandizement of our nation through conquest. We may have tried some of that at the turn of the 20th century, but the US is ill suited to it. We're not a European nation in that respect, nor will we ever seek it.

We seek the stability, security and potential that American principles have always promised. We wish to continue that and pass it on to our children. It is our legacy - the one sure defining treasure of the United States that sets us apart from the past and which is the thing that all immigrants seek above everything else. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Well, reluctance to fight brutally for these things shouldn't be seen as a refusal to do so. That is what a True Believer will never understand. There are things worse than dying for the decadent Westerners like me. May God have mercy on them because we won't if and when the time comes and these homegrown or imported jihadis wreak havoc inside the United States.

That's a warning and a promise. So help me God.

All Al Qaeda will do to us if they start attacking us here in the USA - we will not be so polite to some countries that have barred us from entering it while we pay them to 'fight' terrorism. I put the 'fight' in quotes because they don't do anything except accept saudi money so the jihadist training can keep going on while everyone tells the Americans how much they are doing to stop it.

'War is deception' and the muslims have been fighting in some regard or other for 1400 years and are very good at so many tactics, they invent new ones that our politicians, and Pentagon, are unable to keep up with. And what could that be? Well, one is immigration - and uncontrolled birth rates of muslims after they immigrate here. Once the numbers are sufficiently high - they start their demands, violence, etc. And then there is control of our media, businesses, Universities, and politicians.

I just had a thought - that is probably why they are supporting Hillary for prez - they know that they can carry on their attacks on our homeland and the Clintons will do nothing or next to nothing. I can see their ugly faces smiling in hopes of another Clinton in office.

There is a pigsty mosque nearly 1 mile north and the concrete barricades at the main entrances are not narrow enough. I'll probably complain today at the mall management office and point out the weakness.

And yet watching KTLA news this morning I saw a Los Angeles city spokesman (I didn't get the name--it was a very short clip) reassuring reporters that the threat didn't come from a credible source.
