Now, everyone knows CAIR is a neutral civil rights organization that is scrupulous about telling the truth. Never mind that CAIR's spokesman Ibrahim Hooper has defamed me on national television, or that the organization's website even featured a link, for a time, to a tissue of lies about me and Jihad Watch penned by a mendacious and pathetic thrice-convicted felon.
Never mind that CAIR's Ahmed Bedier, quoted in this story, has posted a vile hate message at this site, and has never bothered to answer my questions to him about the Islamic supremacist ideology. Never mind also that Bedier characterized two men who are now under indictment after being found with pipe bombs in their trunk -- one of whom has admitted to making a video about how to use remote-controlled bombs against American soldiers -- as a couple of "naive kids." Never mind the terror convictions of CAIR officials. Never mind the Islamic supremacist statements made by CAIR reps. Never mind the unindicted co-conspirator status. Alan Colmes says they're ok, they must be ok! They're as pure as the driven snow!
And that's why this girl, despite the fact that no evidence whatsoever bears out her story, must be believed. The "Islamophobia" myth requires constant shoring up! Call another press conference, Ahmed!

ST. PETERSBURG - Hannah Chehab's tale of harassment drew widespread attention last week.She said a fellow Azalea Middle School student choked her, pulled off her Muslim head scarf and threatened to shoot her. School officials were slow to respond, Hannah and her parents said. A local Islamic group called a press conference to draw attention to the allegations.
But a police report released Tuesday says investigators found little evidence to support Hannah's story.
Several classmates told police that Hannah, 11, routinely talked and played around with the boy she accused of threatening her. The school resource officer who investigated the complaint found several witnesses who contradict Hannah's account. School videocamera footage doesn't support her tale either, the police report says.
Police said it's unclear if Hannah's hijab was ever removed.
"Our investigation did not reveal any information or evidence to support the girl's allegations," said police spokesman Bill Proffitt. He said the investigation has been closed and no charges will be filed.
The school district has said an assistant principal reprimanded the boy, isolated him from other students during lunch that day and assigned him to a work detail.
Hmmm. Will this boy's parents sue CAIR?
Ahmed Bedier, executive director of the Tampa chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, brought the girl to a press conference last week to draw attention to the incident and criticize the district's response.On Tuesday, Bedier said the school district failed to notify police until after the press conference. Bedier said Hannah's parents still haven't decided whether they're going to send her back to Azalea.
Pinellas County school officials have maintained that Azalea Middle School acted appropriately.
Hannah's complaint centered around an 11-year-old boy who, she said, choked her and threatened to shoot her with a BB gun. She also said the boy tugged at her head scarf and tipped it off, "exposing her hair and neck," according to a police report.
Hannah and her parents complained that school officials, including an assistant principal at Azalea, offered a misleading account of events.
But when the school resource officer interviewed students in the class where Hannah said her head scarf was taken off, several said that Hannah and the boy had been joking around and talking, as they often did.
Several students said the boy tugged at Hannah's head scarf. Some students said the hijab came off, but others said it came down partway.
The teacher in the classroom told the officer that just one curl of Hannah's hair was exposed as she walked to the bathroom to fix her hijab.
According to the report, Hannah didn't report any threats while talking to an assistant principal, though she and her parents now dispute that account.
Several students did say they heard someone threaten to shoot Hannah. But the accounts of the threat vary.
Bedier said Hannah was a good student who doesn't get into trouble. He said the report doesn't negate her claims.
"Hannah is very troubled and she's basically in disbelief," Bedier said. "She was a victim in this situation.
"There's no evidence so far to show that she's lying."
Correction: There's no evidence so far to show that she's telling the truth.
Several School Board members praised Hannah last week when, flanked by her mother and Bedier, she appeared at a board meeting and read a statement. But on Tuesday, board member Jane Gallucci said she had concerns about the lack of emotion in the 11-year-old's presentation."It was as if she was reading a book," said Gallucci, who for many years worked as a middle school guidance counselor for the district. "If this was as traumatic as she said it was, there would have been more emotion in the retelling."

l for one find this to be a sicking affair, where is the outrage from Americans over this garbage. Pinellis county used to be such a grest place in the 60's and 70's as a kid growing up. At least the Greeks in Tarpon Springs lived as Americans.I guess now with al the multi-culti crap a lie is not punished. What if some jihadie had harmed this lad. Would their be any outrage then.

The assistant principal should be fired. If she was horsing around with the kid, why wasn't she isolated from other students during lunch that day and assigned to a work detail?

Questions:
1) Is there no lawyer in Florida willing to take up the cause of the young boy who was punished before any evidence was gathered?

3) What is this school committee woman going to do realizing this was a staged event meant to smear the school system? An apology by Bedier set before the cameras like he did with the girl would be proper.

Poor kid - not because if the alledged 'incident' but because her parents (and CAIR) are using her to promote their agenda. It sounds to me like she was simply playing with the boy and things got a little rough and her hijab slipped.
So she went home and mentioned it to her parents who , along with CAIR, blew it all out of proportion in order to advance their agenda and money is the payoff for the parents.
Possible the kid was told to make these statements (thus the unemotional telling).

I'm sure the girl was severely punished when she got home. Not only did she allow this boy to bare part of her little head, she told the Kufar (sp?) faculty about it.
She has disgraced her family, by allowing this to happen to her, and if she's ever sexually assaulted, it will be her fault. She will have deserved it, by allowing a boy to uncover her head when she was all of eleven years old.

Okay, yes. If this did happen, it was a violation of her person. No female likes to have her clothing torn at, in public. On the other hand, this silly boy is guilty only of a lack of manners, and only half that--He probably didn't know his 'offense' was so serious.
Mr. Bedier's flaunting Hannah for a photo-op with the press does not make his case. It's sensationalism that proves nothing.
This is just another example of how Mohammedans are like everyone else, except when they aren't.

Hmmmmm. Let me get this straight...Saudi Arabia defends the practice of flogging with 200 lashes and imprisoning a woman who was in a car with a man she wasn't related to and was later gang raped and little Hannah is defended by CAIR when she plays with a boy she is "not related to." There is a disparity here in that the woman is usually punished when a crime is committed against her. Shouldn't CAIR at least be supporting having Hannah slapped around a little bit? Or is it okay for females to come in contact with males if it furthers the spread of Islam? Is Hannah considered a heroine or a hoe? Are Muslimas and junior Muslimas only considered heroines when they report being abused by Western males in Western countries? Could they ever be considered a heroine if they report being raped in the ME or there are they always considered hoes?
According to the FBI hate crime statistics for 2006, there were only 191 incidents involving crimes against Muslims. 191 out of 7 to 10 million Muslims in America. Oops, sorry, I was using CAIR's make believe numbers. I meant to say, 191 out of 2 million Muslims in the U.S. That seems pretty low for a country of 300,000 + million people. 169 people were killed in Washington, D.C. alone last year so what is CAIR bitching about?
Hey Ibrahim, are you unhappy with the low number of Muslims abused in America and working to bump that number up, no matter how artificially? Of course you are, because while there is no laughter in Islam, there is plenty of abuse and I'm sure you're really itchin' to establish it under Sharia.

I blame the parents. What are they thinking of, sending their daughter to a kaffir school? Do they want her to become a westernized little trollop? At the age of 12, she should be at home, allowed out only in a full burkha with face veil, and then only in the company of her husband or other family members. As it is, she's pushing and shoving kaffir boys. It will probably be an honor-killing for her in a few years, or at the least a hundred or so lashes. The only way to straighten her out now is to send her back to the old country to be married to Papa's cousin, Abdul.

Longshoreman and writer Eric Hoffer once said that all great movements for justice begin as a cause for justice, but in time they become a business, and finally they end as a racket of extortion, abuse and fraud. Hoffer was particularly thinking of union movement when he said that. But it now applies to "civil rights". CAIR is an organization of liars-abusers-smear artists-racketeers.
It's ironic that Cair-I-slammers who are silent re the very real aparthied and abuse of non-Arab "guest workers" in Saudi-A-Gas-Station will pretend that creeps from that aparthied-racist state are victims of gas-station-style-abuse in America. CAIR is a criminal organization.

That it's assumed hijab displacement is worthy of police investigation. The report notes hair and neck exposure as if it's an injury of some kind.
Sharia is already considered part of the law in Florida by the police in St. Pete apparently.
We've lost and surrendered in some places but don't know it.

But in Europe it becomes increasingly difficult to follow your counsel and in some countries almost impossible – there are simply too many Moslems and their number is growing while our is failing.
The real advice must be: “Keep Muslims away from the West”. Nothing else will do.
American and Australian friends: watch Europe and be afraid.

It's not possible, but trying to keep your kids away from Muslims is the only option which can keep them safe from Islamic grievance theater. Nobody wants to be named a racist, Islamophobic, hijab-grabbing, neck-exposing defiler of young Muslim women. Even if it's much ado about nothing and just kids playing. People get stabbed, whipped, and acid is thrown in faces over these things.
If public schools are going to enforce sharia modesty rules on non-Muslims, with cops, private school or homeschooling are the only options.

If you followed the original story, CAIR wanted the school's teachers and students to be given cultural training as a remedy.
I thought, when I heard that a few days ago, that the "offense" was merely a Trojan Horse to get such forums into the schools.

I think that depends a lot on the attitudes of those 298.5 million.
Some are ignorant of the threat. Some are apathetic.
God save us, there are even those who sympathize and support Muslims and their dream of a Sharia ruled America.
Some of those 298.5 million are children, and malleable. They'll believe what they're taught, because adults are authority figures.
Others are college students. Not so malleable as corriptible, which is to say that many of them will say whatever they must, to get that degree, and who knows what part of it they'll actually believe?
As much as I'd like to believe we're all on the same side (with regard to Islam), I can't. It just isn't so.

How many of these 1.5 million Moslems are citizens, that I am not sure of, but if anyone of them was to suggest Sharia should replace the US Constitution, their citizenship could legally be revoked and they could the be legally deported. So their numbers would become even smaller and then combine say 2.0% of the total American non-Moslem population and they would still outnumbered 10 to 1.
Israel is surrounded by millions of angry Moslems, Israelis must be outnumber at least 10 to 1, and Islam has yet to dislodge them.

Really if now, when the number of moslems in the US is 1.5 million (BTW where did you get that figure?) you bend back to accommodate their most absurd demands, when you whack with the islamophobia/racism/bigotry club anyone questioning Moslem immigration and, as Beagle recommends, put your kids in the safety of private schools to be protected by cops then imagine your life when the number of Moslems becomes say, 15 million?

According to the polls after the London and Madrid bombing about 25% of British Moslems either want the Sharia established in England, or justify Islamic terror. Evidently they have no problem “throwing away freedoms” UK provides. Similar polls in Holland, Belgium show alike results. Has it ever occurred to you that Moslems may define their freedom differently than us?
Anyway, even if the polls results were only 5% for Sharia nd terror it would be alarming enough. Or you don't think so?

Just recently at a Canadian University there was a big fuss by CAIR over a Female Muslim student that was sexually assaulted with no witnesses to confirm it but CAIR pressed on
and used a Hospital report to back it up.
Except , suddenly CAIR posted a Press Release on their site to say that Sharia Law does not apply to her and she wasn't raped since she feared being Damaged-Goods .
My gut feeling was that the attacker was a African/Muslim/Male/Foreign/Student that believed he had the "Right" to attack her for being alone in a Class Room and getting an Education.
The same CAIR is now filing a Human Rights complaint against a Aiport for a Somalian Female
that decided to ignore the Dress Code for Employees by wearing a full length covering rather than the loose slacks they agree upon to keep the peace , the Sharia law Somalian had 2 prior warning until they had no choice but to suspend her until she wears the same "UNIFORM" as other Security workers that search Passenger trying to hide things in their clothes .
If crap like this continues there will be many Muslims suprized one day when we don't just lay down and take it like the French do to keep the weapons in a un-used mint condition , when the Politician fail to Protect the people and the Nationhood it will be the Freedom-Respecting people that will purge N.A. of the Islamofascists suicide bombers and put an end to the Bogus "Mosques" that house illegals and Preach hatred to youth to get THEM to die for Allah while murdering all Non-Muslims in N.A. .

How many non-Muslims in the US and Europe have been threatened and harassed, verbally, physically or both, for merely not being Muslim (often with tangible details to support that the non-Muslim was not just a victim of random thuggery but was singled-out because he/she was non-Muslim). I know of many such cases. Having lived in Europe and the US, I have even witnessed these things. Yet non of these cases, so far as I know, have led to any complaints against the Muslim aggressors. Out of fear, direct or indirect, non-Muslims are afraid to report Muslim hate crimes.

Actually, anyone with a basic idea of child psychology would conclude that Hannah Chehab simply has a huge crush on the boy she accuses. The normal childhood embarrassment of such a thing combined with the huge shame factor for this engendered by the ideology she was brainwashed with pretty much explains everything. Hannah's parents should go to jail for child abuse.

I hope the boy's parents sue CAIR. CAIR and the girl's parents conspired to slander an 11-year-old boy and get him punished. I don't think a jury would be too happy about that.

A couple of small, interesting details.
Note the name of the reporter who put the story together - "Abhi Raghunathan". It looks to me like a non-Muslim, Indian name - can anyone tell me more?
The other interesting point: that it was the board member "who for many years worked as a middle school guidance counselor for the district" (which means she would have LOTS of experience with kids in distress, and their parents, and also a great deal of experience with every possible kind of lying and deception!) who thought there was something odd about the Muslim girl's demeanour. Her trained intuition should be trusted.
