"Martyrdom" Detonator Video Details Revealed In "Naive Kids" Case

Naive Kids Update: Ahmed Mohamed promotes an alternative to jihad/martyrdom bombings. Instead of killing yourself in the process of taking out a crowd of infidels, you see, you use a remote-controlled device to kill the infidels only. What a concept!

"'Martyrdom' Detonator Video Details Revealed In Case," by Elaine Silvestrini for The Tampa Tribune (thanks to H.B.):

TAMPA - A prosecution court filing provides new details of a videotape the government says was made by a University of South Florida student and posted to the Web site YouTube.

The video, authorities allege, was made by Ahmed Mohamed, 26, who was arrested in South Carolina on Aug. 4 along with Youssef Megahed and accused of transporting explosives.

The prosecution says Mohamed acknowledged making the video in which he demonstrated how to use a remote-controlled toy to detonate a bomb.

The prosecution court filing quotes Mohamed as saying in Arabic on the video, "Instead of the brethren going to, to carry out martyrdom operations, no may G-D bless him, he can use the explosion tools from distance and preserve his life, G-D willing, the blessed and exalted, for the real battles."

See below for an explantion of usage for the word "God." It makes Mohamed sound like an Orthodox Jew -- which he assuredly is not.

The quote comes in a reply the government filed to a motion by Megahed seeking to have his case tried separately from Mohamed. Megahed's attorneys argue that terrorism-related allegations against Mohamed will unfairly prejudice the jury against Megahed.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jay Hoffer writes in his response that he opposes the severance of the case, saying there is no basis to think the jury could not be fair to both defendants.

The "G-D" portions of the quote stand for the word "god," according to Steve Cole, spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office. "Jay did that out of respect to God. That's the way he prints that name," Cole said....

Hoffer notes in his filing that the video was found by investigators on a laptop computer owned by Mohamed. Megahed was seen trying to stow the computer as deputies approached their car in North Carolina, the prosecution says.

Describing the video, a new prosecution court filing says, "Referring to the disassembled toy car, the narrator said 'We will cut the circuit of ... these two wires that supply the electric current to the motor and rather ... than giving electricity to the motor, we will route it to the detonator.' "...

Naive kids indeed.

An eponymous Mohamedan

He's a good Mohamed, an honest Mohamed, a faithful Mohamed, a religious Mohamed, a true-believing Mohamed, a chip off the old block, the dead spit of the real Mohamed,an eponymous Mohamed.

Whatever else you can say about this case, the guy's name is awesome: Megahed. Should be Megahead, but I'll settle. Really, what a name! (and what a jerk, but that's a given).

Beware, the primitives gather stones and learn of fire.

Should be Megadead.

I'm going to write my Congressional representatives immediately and demand that we increase the number of Muslim immigrants to this country.

I'm sure I can make the case that without more Muslims in our country, we're missing out on the many benefits that multi-culturalism and diversity offers us. How can we possibly be a happy and fulfilled nation without millions more Muslims in our country to enrich our lives with an Islamic perspective on the world.

If the price we pay is death, destruction and terrorism, it's a small price to pay for the enrichment an increased Muslim presence offers us.

If you'll recall, CAIR clarified matters by explaining that the kids were just carrying fireworks.

Remote detonation would seem to confirm the "fireworks" theory. After all, I've never heard of anyone strapping on fireworks before blowing them up.

Just doing some thinking.

@rational

Watch out they may not see the satire. They don't see much when they are looking at things with PC glasses except what they want to see. Even rational or irrational is lost.

The biggest problem is the bending over backwards with a PC definition of 'presumed innocent'. Mind you I am not wishing to change the concept of presumed innocent, I just what a little wisdom added on top.

Without preaching notice the order of wisdom to justice and judgment below.

Proverbs 1:1-3
The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel; To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;. . .

GOOSE CREEK UPDATE

Fibrahim Hooper will now come out with his big funny shoes (normally worn on his head), along with the rest of the paid Saiudi-A-Gas-Station CAIR bozos ("we really practice aparthied with our non-Arab "guest workers"), and do the mime thing. Send in CAIR, there ought to be clowns....

Where are they?

Still, they got their supporters:

this one here,
http://sheikyermami.com/2007/09/01/terrorists-are-victims-sez-ahmed-bedier-them-good-ol-boyz-just-had-some-fireworks/
accused sheik yer’mami of all kinds of evil things, like accusing these poor Ahmeds & Mohameds unjustly.

Think he will retract and apologize now? Is he just a useful idiot or does he knowingly aid and abet the global jihad?

The jury of 12 Tampa cowards acquits the top Islamic Jihad leader, a University of South Florida professor Osama "Sami" al-Arian of all the most serious charges, so the University produces more jihadists.
Just like the 12 New York cowards who totally disregarded the overwhelming evidence and acquitted Nossair in 1991 out of the basest, primitive physical cowardice, encouraging the attacks on the World Trade Center, the cowardly jurors in Tampa, Chicago and Dallas will have the blood of the victims of future terror attacks their cowardice will invite on their hands.

Sounds like someone's trying to get out of their duty to be a martyr. What of the unclaimed vigins?
And don't they love death more than we love life? What gives here? How disappointing to know that some jihadists are failing Islamania 101.

Just a couple of naive college kids from Florida with some firecrackers in the trunk, that's all.

And of course our corrupt "news" outlets will largely or entirely ignore these developments.

According to CAIR, then, jihadis in their 20s are "kids." In contrast, teenagers and even younger children of even single-digit years of age can be found guilty of all sorts of crimes in Muslim countries, particularly if they are victims of rape or are homosexuals. The penalty then is often death. So where is CAIR's compassion for these real kids???

Ralph,

"Beware, the primitives gather stones and learn of fire."

Perfect! The essence of Islam encapsulated in nine simple words. May I use this quote?

In Canada, a bunch of "naive kids" allegedly tried to hatch a plan to build 3 McVeigh sized bombs and behead the Prime Minister of Canada. What does do most of the Muslims in Canada do? They set up a defense fund? Go figure. I think they would want to look into why Muslim youth are turning to violence or perhaps they do know and are sympathizers.

James,

"Go figure. I think they would want to look into why Muslim youth are turning to violence or perhaps they do know and are sympathizers."

Right. I've got a half-dozen pig buzzing my house, and Santa Claus is having a beer with me while laughing our collective ass*s off while reading the hadith about how one should go to the bathroom..

Want a few good laughs? Read these:

Boneshack,

Yup.

Ralph,

Tks. It's just amazing that the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) is just a short 30 miles from me (Plainfield,IN), but we [Hoosiers] seem to be surprisingly resilient to the Islamist BS, the only exception being the new footbaths at the airport.

I will use your new tagline whenever I have to chime into the local MSM whenever they "misunderstand" Islam.

Off topic? The Discovery Times Channel has a documentary about the Bali Bombings. Watch it when it is re-aired. Georgie and Condi should watch it seven or eight times.

Remote controlled detonation has many drawbacks:

You won't get to experience an eternity of sexual depravity with virgins.

Your family will not be eligible for the fast track guarentee into Paradise, and your mother will consider you a failure if you're not seated at the right hand of Allah.

Your "heroic" martyr's picture will not be displayed proudly in the town square.

You will be forced to continue living your lowly existance among the wretched, filthy, infidels.

So go ahead, my pious brothers...forget the cowardly remote detonation and go for the real sheBANG.

This kind of deception is going to undo this "religion". Deception is not what humans need and the permissions to deception in Islam are as much an expression of "internal contradiction" as the Stalinist belief that people need collective farming in the social order.

A just social order must be built on basic trust among humans and the universal recognition of the selfishness of human nature. Islam is an inherently selfish system that hides its selfishness under a veneer of disinterested principle. It's actually predatory (as in Saudi treatment of "guest workers").

Dietrich Bonhoeffer once said that he thought God hates people who think-up-dream-adhere-to a belief system that allegedly promotes a perfect social order (Nazis, Communists, I-slammers). I think he was reckoning on how inhuman such systems become when he said that. I-slam is not based in the human need for the universal practice of the Golden Rule based in an understanding of natural human selfishness. It's based in deception, force, violence, fear.

Re: People who use G_d instead of God or Jehovah (Yahweh) how this superstitious (has nothing to do with respect) practice came about:

http://au.answers.yahoo.com/answers2/frontend.php/question?qid=20061226205243AA3UkJH

For centuries, most Jews have superstitiously refrained from pronouncing aloud any form of the divine Name. They base that superstition on the third of the Ten Commandments given to Moses:
(Exodus 20:7) "You must not take up the name of Jehovah your God in a worthless way"

Over the centuries, that Jewish superstition has expanded to also forbid writing or engraving any form of "YHWH", even when simply copying from one of the nearly 7000 occurences in the Hebrew Scriptures. In recent centuries, some superstitious Jews have even forbade unabbreviated EUPHEMISMS for "YHWH"; capitalized terms such as "Tetragrammaton" and (amazingly) even "the Name" are forbidden by such superstitions.

More recently, the Jewish superstition has ballooned out of all reasonableness by also forbidding respectful impersonal TERMS referring to the Almighty; thus many Jews insist upon writing "G-d" or "G~d" rather than "God". They may even refrain from capitalizing impersonal terms such as "Creator" and "Almighty".
