Jihadists crucify one, behead two in Thailand

Crucifixion:

"The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter..." (Qur'an 5:33)

Beheading:

"Therefore, when ye meet the unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; at length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom, until the war lays down its burdens...." (Qur'an 47:4)

"Muslim crucified, two Buddhists beheaded in Thailand: police," from AFP (thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist):

NARATHIWAT, Thailand (AFP) — A Muslim military informant was shot and crucified, while two Buddhist men were beheaded Wednesday by suspected Islamic separatists in Thailand's restive south, police said.

The Muslim man, a 58-year-old who belonged to a government-backed militia, was shot and then stabbed so badly that he was nearly decapitated, police Lieutenant Khanchitthol Kreunor told AFP.

Suspected rebels then drove six-inch nails through his head, arms and legs to attach him to two pieces of wood, which were laid out like a cross in the middle of a road in Rueso district of Narathiwat province, near the southern border with Malaysia, he said.

Khanchitthol said police found a note written in Thai and left near the cross, reading: "This is what the infidels deserve. The soldier dogs must meet this end."

"The victim was attacked and killed in such a grisly way because they knew he was a military informant. This is to terrify the people," Khanchitthol said.

About two hours later, two Buddhist fishmongers aged 20 and 61 were shot and then beheaded in another district of Narathiwat, police said.

The killings came after a month of spiralling violence in the region, which has seen more than 2,700 killed since separatist unrest erupted four years ago....

Don't worry.....When we solve that little mid-east peace problem these Thai Jihadists will stop wacking the heads off those Israel supporting Buddhists.

I heard the Thais were hardcore fighters. Must be a myth because this sort of thing has been going on for far too long. Perhaps the government there will bestow a nation upon them the same way the Phillipines did recently in the delusion that this will bring about peace.

MYTH # 1 --

Islam is a religion of peace.

MYTH # 2 --

Islam is a religion at all.

"this is what the infidels deserve..."

Are you quite sure they didn't leave a note about the "Palestinian people" and their "right of return"? Or something about the living conditions in the banlieues of Paris? Or possibly something about cartoons in Jutland?

Police Lieutenant Khanchitthol Kreunor said

The victim was attacked and killed in such a grisly way because they knew he was a military informant.

A strange statement.

It's a minor point given the gruesomeness of the article, but why confirm for the jihadists that they found the informant? Why not leave them guessing? And why tell the Thais that the way to avoid being attacked by the Muslims is to refuse to inform on the Muslims? The reason he was attacked and killed in such a grisly way is because he is a filthy kaffir; he might have thought he was a Muslim, but the jihadis could see through his not-Muslim-enough-ness. Thais have to understand that this is the treatment coming to all kaffirs, regardless of how much they scrape and bow to the Muslims, unless we all stand up together and end their global rampage. That is the statement that should be made, with no mention of whether he was an "informer", or whether he was dressed inappropriately by Muslim standards, or whether he was with an unescorted woman, or any other excuse. Muslims are commanded by Allah to kill kaffirs, end of story.

Obviously not Hugh. The aforementioned excuses for jihad against the infidel world are only acceptable in specific geographical areas and of course have nothing to do with Islam.

In this case, I believe the correct excuse is that they were simply "misunderstanders" of Islam and all its well-documented "peaceful peachiness."

It is amazing how the actions of the jihadists mirror the mandates in the Qur'an so often, yet they never seem to understand their intent. I find it odd that one can read a book so often, as is apparent, yet never comprehend its meaning.

Don't you?

Farfour Fibrahim should open a CAIR delegation in Thailand in order to explain to these Muslims that Islam is against vsuch practices.

What will it be, Farfour? Will you go on making us all sick and remain silent while your co-religionists murder everyone on site?

I find it odd that the "moderate" Muslims will say they misunderstand Islam but never dispute the Qur'anic quotes that the jihadists use to justify jihad.

Obviously this is the fault of the Thai Buddhists. If only enough liberal Buddhist clergy would just sign a letter apologizing to the Muslims, then the poor jihadists wouldn't be forced to do such things.

Perhaps they thought it was Eid time and they were just celebrating a little too exuberantly...maybe they misunderstood their calendar.

Posted by: Jauhara Al-Kafirah [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 28, 2007 2:44 PM

Clearly Thailand needs to find a group of liberal Buddhist Clergy to write a letter of apology to the Muslims. That way these poor oppressed Islamists won't be forced to misunderstand the Religion of Peace. Especially since all this violence is because of those evil Buddhist Crusades.

"Any French soldier found outside was pursued by a mob and murdered. Women on the rooftops kept up a chorus of ululations. From their vantage points, some women even pointed out the quarry to the packs of pursuers. One or two soldiers bolted upstairs onto the roofs in an attempt to escape, only to be brought down by the large stones kept there to hold down washing. The victims were stripped and hacked to pieces."

I wonder whether, if enough of us wrote into the BBC, demanding to know why this story was not covered in their extensive Asia Pacifc news section; we could manage to elicit a response?

It's not only the Beeb of course it's all MSM, but their almost complete (they have reported the conflict on one or two occasions) censorship of this HUGE and portentous issue is reprehensible.

On a local forum, I had a discussion with a liberal who maintained that if we (US), torture prisoners, then American soldiers would be tortured, tit for tat. I asked, 'what makes you think that American captured soldiers are not tortured anyway'?
And in far more excruciating ways than Bush or the Bushman were doing to captured terrorists. This article proves the point.
This man was not an American but he was a soldier and infidel as far as the torturers were concerned. What is that called, tafir? He wan not quite muslim enough, and then, an apostate in their eye's.
They basically executed him for apostasy, and did it in the way the Quran prescribes. The government may punish them if they catch them, but Islam will not.
They did the right thing. It is every muslims obligation to kill an apostate, they deserve to die.
When Allah approves, who are mere jihadists to argue???

The trouble is, when Infidels respond to a Koranic Jihad terror crime, the ideological tool of Equivalency is validated.

No "who went first" or "how frequently does one side do it vs. the other side" or "what's your motivation? Self-protection or revenge for a prior act, or a belief system that calls for violence."

The Moslems definitely went first on temple destruction, but the day the Hindus finally, finally! responded by destroying with a mosque or two, you could do a poll and the results would show that 100% of the respondents would lay blame on both sides -- less polled Moslems and Hindus, of course.

* 33:21 ** 33:21 ** 33:21 ** 33:21 ** 33:21 ** 33:21 ** 33:21 ** 33:21 ** 33:21 ** 33:21 *

Of course, the score between JudeoChristian Westerners is 0 - 147,296, and that approach ain't working, either. Moslems in the West are all pissed off any, scowling, aggreived, hairy.

So how to respond?

Robert's made a great start with the alternative, brutally truthful headline: "jihadists crucify one, behead two in Thailand".

Now let's see what happens when the rest of the article is put through the special jihadwatch/dhimmiwatch translating device that we all learn to use here.

"NARATHIWAT, Thailand (AFP) — A Muslim man was shot and crucified (probably on suspicion of being an army informant) while two Buddhist men were beheaded, on Wednesday, by suspected Muslim jihad raiders in Thailand's jihad-wracked south, police said.
The Muslim man, 58 years old, was shot and then stabbed so badly that he was nearly decapitated, police Lieutenant Khanchitthol Kreunor told AFP.

How's that, folks? Anyone else care to have a go, next time we have an article like that? Can further improvements be suggested?

I have included Khanchitthol's indiscreet comment because it appears this is what he said.

LAND OF SMILES

"The Land of Smiles"?
Once you visited Thailand, you will notice that the most prominent feature of the character of the Thai people is their natural inclination to smile.

Perhaps it was the influence of Buddhism.
Thai people take things easy and they are kind to strangers. They are always cheerful no matter whether in success or in adversity.

Thai people have lived in their motherland for centuries in happiness and contentment.
Another significant trait of the Thai nation - their love of peace. their exceptional ability to co-exist with people of different ethnic groups, different religions, different political views and different social classes.
In Thai history, there have been no religious wars.
