In the Arabic-language article "'Anti-CAIR' to mobilize for American broadcaster insulting Islam," IslamOnline says that "organizations termed hostile to Islam and Islamic organizations in the United States" are launching a counter-campaign against CAIR's attempt to get advertisers to boycott the Michael Savage Show.
Anti-CAIR is behind it all, you see. The article says:
The organization [Anti-CAIR] described the Council on American Islamic Relations as "the Organization of Islamic Hatred," and launched an attack on the coalition "Hate Hurts America," which includes Islamic, Christian and Jewish organizations, and which persuaded a number of major American and international companies and the world to stop broadcasting ads on the program.Anti-CAIR said that the coalition "was assembled on the spur-of-the-moment to provide a meeting place for like-minded bigots to meet and reinforce their feelings of superiority over lesser, unenlightened Americans."
It complained that the coalition did not defend Daniel Pipes, Steve Emerson, Robert Spencer and Joe Kaufman (all of them most hostile to Islam) when they were subjected to criticism from a number of organizations.
The article goes on to say that "it should be noted that Spencer and Pipes are among the most prominent writers in favor of the Israeli occupation policy," and that "Spencer is the author of the book The Truth About Muhammad: Founder of the World's Most Intolerant Religion.
IslamOnline seems to be working from this sole press release from Anti-CAIR, but if an actual coalition does develop, so much the better. Meanwhile, it is good of them to notice the labors of Pipes, Emerson, Kaufman and me.
An aside: IslamOnline renders my name in Arabic روبرت سبنسر, which is exactly how I wrote it here last year. Longtime Jihad Watch readers may recall that the Muslim bloggers Aziz Poonawalla and Ali Eteraz at Dean Esmay's website criticized (as "Roobart Sbunsar") this allegedly inept rendering of my name in Arabic, although it is the common, ordinary rendering of the name. I warned them at the time that other people knew Arabic besides them and would see through what they were doing, thus harming their credibility, but to no avail (although Aziz did post a small semi-retraction as an addendum to an old post on his own site). In any case, the incident demonstrated that anyone who looks to Aziz Poonawalla or Ali Eteraz as a credible source at this point should remember: caveat emptor.

At this point, everything legally available to all of us that can be used to rid ourselves of the CAIR plaque, should be used.
CAIR's troubles are of its own doing. This organization should be blanketed by everyone who cares about this country. They should be called out every time they pull one of their ridiculous stunts. Count me in on this coalition. Simply put, the CAIR menace needs to go.
Hiding behind its version of "religion", it has stepped on far too many toes, and has influenced far too many dolts in Washington. CAIR is a terrorist front, period. If its officials want to shake this label, all they have to do is prove otherwise.
They cannot. We can no longer afford to continue leaving the trash in the gutters. It needs to be pushed into the sewer, where it belongs.

CAIR is very afraid of people like Spencer, Pipes, etc, but they are terrified of Anti-CAIR, and Andy Whitehead. Now they will be terrified of Savage. Why? 'Disclosure'. I don't doubt that as I type this, that CAIR is trying to hide/destroy any evidence, and desperately looking for loop holes.
If they prevail against Savage, it will be by some devious means...

Even Bill O'REilly yelled at one of the representatives of CAIR on his program for their being in lala land about all the violence and their doing nothing.
A kudos to Anti-CAIR. I get their free newsletters and try to keep abreast of their goings on.

As I will keep pointing out. Don't whine, act. We need to act, within the rule of Western law, to fight these Jihadist groups. Give money, time, and energy to exposing their war against non-Muslims.
We also must destroy their supply lines, and that is oil. A hot war against Islam will not work since by their own admission "they love death more than we love life." Europe avoided Islamic invasion because it became more economically prosperous and thereby became technologically more powerful (we almost lost folks).
GW Bush squandered an opportunity for North America to become energy independent, when he spent 1 Trillion on the Iraq war. He could have dumped the money it huge R&D on alternative energy solutions. New economically sound ideas are popping up every day and can be encouraged. Check out the follow article about how a national grid of car batteries could save major amounts of energy. This combined with breakthroughs in ultra-capacitors, means we could end the oil age. This would also stop the global warming chicken littles from clucking too.
Imagine if another President said, "We are going to have a war on oil." The Saudi funders of Sharia-Despotism and violent Jihad would crap their crap their thawbs if a President did this. Whereas, I believe they were doing a dance of joy when GW Bush announced his invasion of Iraq.

That IS indeed an accurate spelling of the name, though I suppose one could insert a vowel here or there.
As for CAIR: they're a joke. How much longer will people keep buying that crap.

I wish I could get my moniker rendered in Arabic, but the only Arabic-speaking Muslims I know have quit talking to me--something about m e being bigoted, racist, and Islamophobic, as I recall.

We can do our part by not shopping at the stores that have dropped advertising for Savage. Savage has been sounding the alarm for years, BORDERS, LANGUAGE, CULTURE. All the things that are destroying this country. Support him by not supporting them. I have also called all of them to voice my disgust. I am only one but I have told everyone I know the same thing. JCPenneys, Walmart, Autozone, OfficeMax are the big ones.

I'm sorry, but the entire freakin' Muslim faith - ISLAM - insults ME on a second-by-second basis.
I am insulted that this vicious and evil woman-hating, human-enslaving ideology called Islam even exists.
I am insulted that a man who repeatedly RAPED a CHILD, among other heinous crimes including MASS MURDER and the rape of multiple SLAVES, is considered a "prophet" of God!
