The big Muslims-As-Victims Fest in Constantinople, featuring Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey's Prime Minister and advocate of political Islam; Iqbal Sacranie of the CAIR-like Muslim Council of Britain; Saudi-funded academic John Esposito of Georgetown University; Karen Armstrong, the renowned dhimmi author; Louay Safi of the unindicted co-conspirator ISNA; Lord Nazim Ahmed, the British Muslim peer; Professor Norman Finkelstein, late of DePaul; the notoriously slick "Muslim Martin Luther" Tariq Ramadan, who is not allowed into the U.S.; neo-Nazi William Baker; and many others, has come to a triumphant close.
And -- surprise of surprises -- the assembled dignitaries have discovered that "Islamophobia" is a serious, serious problem, that must be addressed at the government level. It doesn't seem to have occurred to anyone there that Muslims might have any responsibility for the rise in "Islamophobia," if there has been such a rise, or that they can do anything themselves to eradicate it. No one seems to have realized how easy -- yes, easy! -- it would be to stamp out "Islamophobia" once and for all. Here's how. If Muslims want to end "Islamophobia" instantaneously, here's how they can do it:
1. Focus their indignation on Muslims committing violent acts in the name of Islam, not on non-Muslims reporting on those acts.
2. Renounce definitively not just "terrorism," but any intention to replace the U.S. Constitution (or the constitutions of any non-Muslim state) with Sharia even by peaceful means.
3. Teach Muslims the imperative of coexisting peacefully as equals with non-Muslims on an indefinite basis.
4. Begin comprehensive international programs in mosques all over the world to teach against the ideas of violent jihad and Islamic supremacism.
5. Actively work with Western law enforcement officials to identify and apprehend jihadists within Western Muslim communities.
If Muslims do those five things, voila! "Islamophobia" will vanish.
"Turkey: Int'l Summit On Islamophobia Issues Final Statement," from ANSAmed (thanks to Insubria):
(ANSAmed) - ANKARA, DECEMBER 10 - "Islamophobia should be accepted as a crime, just like anti-semitism". So read the final statement of the The International Conference on Islamophobia", organized by the Union of NGOs of the Islamic World (UNIW), which ended in Istanbul yesterday. As Anadolu news agency reported, the statement also said that national and international law mechanisms should enact legislations and take decisions against Islamophobia. The fight against Islamophobia should be carried out politically, legally and economically both in the national and international arena and in a systematical and strategical way, the statement said. "The fight against Islamophobia should be a basic duty for everybody, every institution and every government," the statement added. (ANSAmed).
"The fight against Islamophobia should be carried out politically, legally and economically both in the national and international arena and in a systematical and strategical way, the statement said." In other words, there must be no critical examination of the ways in which jihadists use the texts and teachings of Islam to justify violence and supremacism. This website and others must be closed.
Maybe they will succeed in this, and most people will stand by, because they will not consider themselves "Islamophobes." But then, to their impotent dismay, their time will come also.

This become a thought crime.

This type of thinking is perfectly consistent with the Qur'an and Sunnah and Islamophobia could be considered either Mischief or Oppression in the spread of Islam to all corners of the Earth.

I do not follow the news closely but I have seen no reports of this conference in the UK. I have just looked at the BBC home/news site and it does not even mention it.
Could it be they are worried about the reaction of the long-suffering public?

If you pay attention to the happenings of world politics, such as the UN (what a debacle it has become)
I have no doubt they will succeed in their attempt to muzzle the "Paul Reveres" of this time.
We must continue to tell everyone who will listen what the islamists have in store for the civilized world. It is not easy to convince people that a third world belief system is a threat to the greatest civilization ever. The creeping islamist influence is everywhere. How can it be that thobe-wearing moslems are walking the streets of my little city? How in the hell did we come to this?
I might add that these "thobe wearing moslems" are not friendly....they are superior in their attitude towards those who have lived here for their whole lives. It is like a bad B movie, the aliens have landed, taken control and the humans believe the statement "I come in peace." You know what happens next.

The Europeans opened the door to a possible law against criticizing Islam long ago. With their ant-free speech laws concerning Holocaust denial they will be hard pressed to resist the call for laws protecting Islam.
Government resistance of Islamification will soon be over; it will then be up the the people to stop it. There will be two enemies of the people, Muslims and their government. The ship is sinking and all the life rafts are full of holes.

This is but a prelude to "Durban II," a UN "World Conference Against Racism" set for 2009 to follow up on the original conference in Durban, South Africa in 2001 that degenerated into an Orwellian Hate Week against Israel and the U.S. Much more at
http://www.eyeontheun.org/view.asp?l=36&p=348
Noteworthy excerpt:
"In inviting different UN bodies to contribute to the new preparatory committee's work, the resolution singles out only two of the many Special Rapporteurs, the Special Rapporteur on Racism, and the Special Rapporteur on freedom of religion or belief. No mention is made, for example, of the rapporteur on promotion and protection of the right to freedom of opinion and expression. In other words, Islamophobia and its manifestations in Danish cartoons will be on the agenda. Freedom of expression will not."

Resistance is futile, infidels!
Lie down and submit to the ideology of profit Moe. Not buying any is the most heinous crime! And Allaballawalla knows best...!
Imagine the rewards: 72 houris & 24 boyz, untouched by man or jinn....
* Now here's how you do it: you wrap your balls in alufoil, wear 3 pairs of underwear, 30 pounds of dynomite, then you walk into the pizzeria and pull that string. And don't forget to shout 'Allahu akbar'- the most important thing...
at December 10, 2007 12:58 PM
Islam automatically categorizes ALL non-believers (or "infidels," of course meaning all non-Muslims) as "criminals against god" anyway, no matter WHAT it is these 'unbelieving' souls are doing (even when what they are doing includes offering to assist in Islam's continuing attempts to destroy the Jews and the state of Israel, as the Bush Administration's boatload of dhimmi-witted numbskulls has moronically done recently). Islamic Wahabi mosques in particular are continually working towards cultivating active and virulent hatred among Muslims towards all unbelieving "infidels" (and their eventual extermination) among their brainwashed minions.
Phobias evidently are good (as well as non-criminal) when they can be manipulated by Islam to do something to further the jihad against the "unbelievers."
Apparently, having non-Muslims categorized as the last word in evil sixty ways from Sunday still is not enough for these demented lost souls. Oh well.
Seriously, who the heck cares what Muslims think about ANYTHING anyway? Nothing except the Kuran will ever be "good" to them anyway. So what else is new and, so WHAT????

"Islamophobia should be accepted as a crime, just like anti-semitism"
"Islamophobia" is an invented term to mask the crimes of Islamic radicals, enacted and planned, and supremacism, to throw off the scent in the direction of infidels. It is that simple.
Now if western governments, citizens and moderate muslims swallow all that, then we will know the world is quickly becoming "unhinged", for the concerns of those who speak out and oppose supremacists, sharia, jihad and the like will have to be squashed. That would be akin to "shooting the messenger".
If "Islamophobia" is a crime, then so is voiced disregard for child molesters, murders, thieves and liars.

The whole concept is such a joke. #1, there is nothing irrational about fearing or hating Islam, at least not until the chiding 'moderates' can provide us with a means of telling them apart from the 'extremists' who have 'twisted their faith' hiding amongst them.
And #2, you don't have to 'hate' or 'fear' Islam to know that you want to stay as far away from it as possible at all times. I do not 'hate' or 'fear' Islam, but it does awake in me a revulsion. Much like you don't have to hate or fear a rabid dog to know it needs to be put down. (rabies used to be called 'hydrophobia,' interestingly enough...)
It's high time we stopped 'validating their fetishes,' as Mark Steyn said somewhere... this and all their other incessant whining ought to receive at best an invitation for them to take a flying f*** at a rolling doughnut.

I’ll tell you what should be made illegal.
Trying to replace the constitution of any democratic country with Sharia Law.
Is it not true that American Soldiers swear to uphold their country’s constitution both at home and abroad?
Attempting to use democracy to dismantle democracy must be criminalised.
Failure to do so means a policy of inaction in face of the most subtle stealth invasion ever attempted.
All democracies must realise that there is a danger of elected dictatorship; this which is why there are things such as written constitutions.
It is about time we realised that a democratic constitution and Sharia Law are incompatible and accept that creeping Sharia means an unravelling democracy.
Muslims who practice Islam as a religion not political system should be untouched.
Bur those who are attempting to impose Sharia Law must be criminalised.
And let the punishment fit the crime. Those who attempt to introduce Sharia must lose to right to vote and be deported.

The fear of Moslems (i.e., Islamophobia) should be accepted as a best practice. It's common sense and should be taught at an early age in grade school civics.
The proof of this is their millions of threats of murder and subjugation made in Moslem scriptures, recorded in Moslem histories, and embodied in the rotten figures of Allah and Mohammed (who concocted the monster Allah).
And of course in the daily drumbeat of threats, manipulations, attacks, and murders dutifully reported in this website on a daily basis.

No, 'western-phobia' should be labeled as a crime, islamic supremacism should be seen as and outlawed for the murderous agenda that it is.
Furthermore, it should be attacked and destroyed on every continent, in every country, in every city and every neighborhood where it already exists. These people and this ideology is the darkest of all evils.
And we are supposed to change our laws because we call evil by what it is? Never! Only after every American's blood is already spilled on the streets will such blatant, evil-serving laws such as this be allowed to stand.
So they're looking for lawful protection for their lawless agenda? Well, I admit that they do need protection, because: 1.) they have started a war with Americans that has already seen tens of thousands of their fellow satanists die horrific deaths 2.) the are a bunch of sodomizing, crybaby, whining, hating whimps 3.) it is going to get wayyy uglier for them before it gets any brighter. Two minutes after these blood-thirsty mini-tyrants cross the invisible line in American culture, they are going to find out for themselves what the real fabric of this nation is made of. Like those thousands of their buddies already have who are now roasting in hell and screaming for mercy to allah. Only allah ain't there. He doesn't exist. And the dude they served (satan) now owns their hateful, spiteful, murdering souls for eternity.
No, they will not use our own laws to assist their satanic assault on this country.

Don't think it can't happen. Europeans already put people in jail for anti-semitism, why not for Islamophobia?
Like it or not, Muslims are winning the war of ideas. They have Western governments believing that the principles of free speech and free thought are immoral -- and should be illegal -- if they can be defined as a phobia.

I'm Gen X and I think the larger issue is that Baby Boomers, with their template that Muslims are the new civil rights cause du jour, are making it impossible to deal with the issue at its root cause, which is the mere presence of Muslims in western countries. I'm not trying to make excuses, but look at the distribution of wealth and power in the US and you will find that Boomers control most of it. If they would just dedicate a small percentage of that to doing what is really necessary to get rid of the Islamic menace, it would be gone in a snap. Gen X doesn't yet have the power to do what needs to be done, but I wouldn't be surprised if we had the will to do it, when the time comes. We've always been much more cynical and pragmatic than Boomers and if there were ever a problem that needed to be dealt with cynically and pragmatically, it's Islam.

As long as muslims continue to flood the West, "islamophobia" will continue to spread. Islam is incompatible with Western values, culture, and governments. European governments have managed to contain the muslim problem but they can't keep a lid on it forever. They have accomplished this by appeasing muslims and constraining the indigenous people through subtle blackmail and indoctrination in multicultural dogma, and by creating the illusion that muslims are the persecuted victims of racism, thus deserving of special protections and perks. The layers of veneer are slowly peeling away, revealing what appears to be a deliberate, calculated campaign to import tens of millions of third-world muslims to Europe. Maybe the massive influx of muslims is not a diabolical conspiracy, but it's hard to believe the entire continent suffers the same plague coincidentally.
Europeans must realize that the muslims aren't coming to work; most are on welfare and freeloading and crime are all they contribute to European society. Why would any stable society hospitably welcome millions of unassimilable, unemployable, destitute, malcontents to their countries? Why would sane, hardworking people want to support unappreciative, culturally incompatible immigrants who turn their cities into crime-ridden slums? Why would the citizens of any country sacrifice their security, stability, quality of life, and culture for bellicose, lazy, hostile, implacable muslims and their endless spawn? It makes no sense. If it makes no sense to me, it must be obvious to those who are living in the middle of it all, those who pay exorbitant taxes to support people with no loyalty or affection for their adopted countries, who want to turn them into replicates of the miserable, deplorable places from which they originated.
Enmity for islam will not diminish; it will grow and spread until it reaches a crescendo that cannot be ignored by Western apologists, multiculturalists, appeasers, elitists, and useful idiots. They might pass Draconian hate speech laws and selectively enforce them, allowing muslims to foment hate with impunity while punishing those who object, but such travesties will not be tolerated indefinitely. Islam generates antipathy like a furance generates heat.
Many seem willing to acquiesce to islam's aggressive, threatening, meretricious effrontery because they are craven fools or multicultural utopians. Islamophobia will seem like the silly, contrived word it is when repressed emotions, feelings, and grievances can no longer be stifled by an enraged populace, tired of being treated like aliens in their own country. Those responsible for this hideous nightmare should all be executed for high treason but I'm sure they will continue to live in luxury and privilege, safely ensconced in their ivory towers, far away from the multicultural hell on earth they created and foisted on the European people.

Basically what I am saying is that current technological trends is narrowing the striking power difference between governments and networks of individuals (this would be advantageous to Al-Qaeda for the short run until a Western cell used the same personal WMD against the muslim world. see http://fallbackbelmont.blogspot.com/2005/06/fourth-conjecture.html for more detail). It just means that the combination of distributed manufacturing and personal WMD (ex. homemade bio-weapons and nanoassembler weapons) would mean the end of the metropolis and the dispersal of populations to the countryside. Too bad the programming on this site wouldn't allow my full post with embedded links.

Islam is an opportunistic infection.
If the nations of the west, particularly in Europe, were politically and socially healthy, then none of this would be happening. It is only because these nations have been rotting from within for several decades that they are vulnerable to this external threat, which in some locales isn't so external anymore.
Great civilizations are not conquered from without until they have destroyed themselves from within.
The ideals of western civilization have been replaced with the pseudo-values of Gramscian Marxism. The result? A crippled and debased society, ripe for the picking.

Posted by: OregonJake.
I'm with you, OregonJake.
So, when I make this observation, it's not directed at you--We've all done this.
Friends, I think we should reject the labels the Mohammedans would place on us. Perhaps Kuffir, and all its other spellings and forms shouldn't be acceptable to us, any more than the made- up "Islamophobia".
I'm not an infidel (though, yes, I've used the term to describe myself). I'm faithful to God and Country. I'm faithful to my countrymen/women.
I've been mulling this over, and in my view, accepting the "Kuffir" label seems something of a tacit admission that the Mohammedan "illah" is a valid diety.
Just my opinion.
As for Islamophobia being made to be a crime, they'll have to come up with another name for it. Otherwise, agoraphobia, acrophobia, hydrophobia, and a host of other phobias would have to become crimes, as well. Some phobias would probably be misdemeanors, while others would become felonies.
A fear cannot be a crime. Nor can hatred, for that matter. Oh, well, they can be called crimes, and legislation can be passed, etc. Clearly, however, the notion is foolish.
What happens next? Are "philias" to be made illegal? How about "manias"? Boy, if they start to outlaw manias, it's going to screw up the advertising industry.
"Islamophobia": A word brought to you by people who are too lazy to invent a real word.

I'm all in favour of calling the likes of Esposito, Armstrong and any enthusiastic dhimmi, 'Islamo-psychophants'. After all, being phobic is preferable to being psycho!
The operation to alter the language so as to control the argument was begun by Muslims back in the seventies when Mohammedanism was a perfectly acceptable synonym for Islam. Now some dictionaries describe it as semi-obsolete - I'm sure Muslims would like to have it tagged as pejorative. The first time I came across their objections was when someone pointed out the use of the term in the blurb on the back of a penguin paperback about Islam in about 1980: it's use had caused an outcry by Muslims and the term was to be dropped from any reprint or next edition.

Lee Reynolds said:
Islam is an opportunistic infection.
If the nations of the west, particularly in Europe, were politically and socially healthy, then none of this would be happening. It is only because these nations have been rotting from within for several decades that they are vulnerable to this external threat, which in some locales isn't so external anymore.
Curious that Multiculturalism (cultural marxism) is primarily a unicultural phenomenon, to paraphrase Mark Steyn. The liberal democracy called Japan apparently doesn't have this ideology. Thereby proving that a nation doesn't need Multiculturalism to be a liberal democracy that accepts the scientific method. It is simply unnecessary for a modern nation.
Its negative results in another civilization (The West) is probably deterring the Japanese from embracing it, they see Multiculturalism as a silly superstition. Ditto China and South Korea.

In this dark and dangerous age of Islamofacism, it is so very important to have excellent websites such JW/DW, Daniel Pipes, ete., for the truth about Islamofacism to get out. God Bless such sites.

Islam, which both teaches and institutionalizes first degree murder on a virtually limitless scale, can and chould be classified as "violent crime." And Islam has perpetrated more violent crime and mayhem than any other force in history to boot.
So, Muslims wish to classify "Islamophobia" as a crime??
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
