Yet another convert to Islam misunderstands her new religion as having something to do with violence and supremacism. Seriously, Ibrahim Hooper, why not start a program for converts, to make sure they don't keep making this same mistake? After all, if Islam is a religion of peace as you insist, then it is strange that so many converts misunderstand it so thoroughly, isn't it? Time to reevaluate the catechesis, eh, old man?

A MELBOURNE mother is being investigated by police over her links to Somali jihadis and accusations she supports Islamic martyrdom.The Muslim convert, a friend of Sydney's militant Islamic matriarch Rabiyah Hutchinson, is also alleged to have declared herself and her family "soldiers of Osama bin Laden", who act on his orders.
The allegations are contained in an official statement given to the Australian Federal Police in relation to its investigation into Somali community figures suspected of encouraging dozens of young men to return to their homeland and join Islamic jihad.
The statement accuses another Australian convert, Aisha Whitehead, of encouraging her Somali-born Australian husband Ahmed Ali to fight alongside terrorists in his war-torn homeland.
The mother, who introduced Ms Whitehead to Mr Ali, allegedly told a small gathering of Muslim women in Melbourne that she supported Islamic jihad and was a follower of the hardline Wahabi form of Islam.
"We are Wahabi," the mother is quoted as saying in the sworn statement seen by The Australian and given by a Somali community member to the AFP in August. Asked at the gathering whether it was bad to be a Wahabi, she replied: "No, we are soldiers of Osama bin Laden. We take orders from him. If he tells us to go somewhere, we go."
The mother rejected the claims against her and denied she was an extremist or an advocate for terrorism.
"The allegations are absolutely untrue and without basis," she said.
Of course: she's not a terrorist. She's a jihadist.

Given that there is no Islamic pope, who can say definitively whether a committed fighter in the way of Allah is an irhabist or a jihadist--the real point is that religious warfare is not a thing of the past for these people.

By asserting loyalty to OBL, isn't she by definition an enemy of the state and a terrorist?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Australia at war with Al Qaeda also? I would think that just by her declaration she could be "captured" and tried as an enemy combatant.
A bit OT (but somewhat related), can someone explain to me what the end game for these guys is? It seems to me, that if they either convert, dhimmify or kill all non-muslims, they will 1) have an awful lot of bodies to dispose of, and
2) the entire world economy will collapse and they won't have anyone to buy their oil or send them foreign aid. Therfore not only will the "developed" countries turn into muslim shitholes, but the current muslim shithole countires that are being suported by the infidel west will have even less food, much less ammo.
3) If they destroy Israel and the paleostinians take over all of palistine, where's the food, water, electricity etc. going to come from?
Have they really thought this through?

Are you conducting Da'wa (Christian version) right here, asking Ibrahim (ne Douglas) Hooper to give up the whole dismal business, and revert -- give me those old-time reverters -- to the Catholic Church from which, I now gather, he may have come?

Suppose - heaven forbid!- they get what they want, Total World Domination. Immediately, their Lords of Misrule will embark upon a gluttonous orgy to devour the accumulated human and biological wealth of the planet, accompanied by multiple acts of mass murder and pointless vandalism; along with this, they will indulge in all-out fratricidal wars between, for example, Sunni and Shi'a (with nuclear weapons?), not to mention the fratricidal and murderous in-house goings-on over who gets to be top of various Muslim heaps, who gets to succeed to whom, and so on (take a look at the history of the Ottoman Empire, the Umayyids, and other Muslim dynasties - normally, one gained a throne by murdering the previous incumbent).
Islam CANNOT refrain from messing its own nest. It's avoided the consequences, so far, by bludging off, or robbing, its more prudent and productive neighbours.
But if it conquers the planet, there will be no-one left to rob, and no-one, after a while (all dhimmi populations decreased catastrophically, over time) to produce stuff, fix things, or maintain the resource base.
Muslim rulers NEVER understood that to prosper in the long term one must refrain from killing or disheartening too many of one's tax payers, and that continual warfare, vandalism, robbery, treachery and gross over-exploitation of the natural environment without putting anything back in, is a dead end route. The Muslim slave trade in Africa is a case in point - what sensible businessperson, really, would kill off 90% of his merchandise before it even got to market? That one example tells me that lurking at the very core of Islam is a mad imperative to destroy, destroy, destroy, for the sake of destruction.
If they gain Total World Domination, they will destroy...everything, forever.
The destruction of the Twin Towers - a mass immolation of human beings, a blatant act of vandalistic envy (I won't let you have anything taller than a mosque!) - told us everything we need to know about Islam.

I think you're all missing the real meaning here. Aisha has been beaten up too many times by Ahmed and wants to be rid of him. She knows that if she goes to an Aussie court for divorce he'll probably kill her for dishonoring him. If she kills him herself she's likely to be caught and imprisoned. So she shames him into going to fight as a jihadist in Somalia, where he'll likely be bumped off by a jihadist of another faction. Voila! She's rid of Ahmed with no muss, no fuss, no rough stuff.
I say good for her. All the Aussie (and other Western) women who've been stupid enough to marry Moslem immigrants should encourage their hubbies to go back to the Old Country to fight in the jihad.

Does anyone remember when Ibrahim Hooper appeared on C-SPAN's Washington Journal (more than a year ago) and he said something very close to: "I don't know anyone who would call themselves wahabi"? I am reminded of his dissembling every time a Muslim refers to himself/herself as wahabi.

Converts are amazing to me. Muslims born into Islam already have the hook, line, and sinker imbedded into their being. But converts don't until they do Shahada. Then something strange happens to their minds. This experience can't be shared with muslims born into Islam. It is unique to converts. It has something to do with submission and renouncing yourself for Allah, but why it takes a similar form in many converts, is what is interesting. A similar and familiar pattern emerges. Total emmersion,
loss of good judgment, accelerated tendency to violence, loss of critical thinking, loss of thinking, and a willingness to act. Including angry verbal justifications for the above.
This has got to be destroying brain cells. I know it destroys some of mine, I can feel a few going just thinking about it. Maybe thats it. If just thinking about shahada destroys some brain cells, then actually doing shahada must destroy many. And doing it three times in a row must be a brain killer.
Like that other guy said...now you know the rest of the story...

....maybe the immigration officials will sit up and take note...She did not declare she was pleased to be in Australia, nor did she declare she wanted to be a hardworking, honest, law abiding citizen of Australia, nor did she say she was pleased to live among the noble citizens of Australia who are NonMuslims..she did declare to be the soldier of the terrorist Osama bin Ladens.....the same Osama bin Laden who directs the Muslim tribesmen that Australian troops are combatting in southern Afghanistan.....
