Keystone Kops, or jihadist cops? An update on this story. "Terror suspect flees in prayer stop at mosque," from IOL.co.za (thanks to Twostellas):
Islamabad - A British terrorist suspect in an alleged plot to blow up trans-Atlantic commercial jetliners managed to escape from a mosque when his police escorts allowed him to say prayers on their way back to the prison, police said on Monday.Rashid Rauf, a British citizen of Pakistani origin, escaped from guards on Saturday afternoon after appearing before a district court judge in Islamabad for an extradition hearing relating to a separate murder investigation in Britain.
His two escorts were immediately detained and were being investigated for possibly aiding the escape.
"The detained policemen told us that they were going back to the jail with the suspect in a private cab instead of a police van, when Rauf requested that they allow him to say noon prayers at a roadside mosque," one of the investigators said.
The investigator, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Rauf entered the mosque with handcuffs on while the policemen waited for him in the cab. Twenty minutes later they discovered Rauf had slipped out a rear door while still wearing the handcuffs.

Damn. I'll have to try that if I should ever be idiot enough to engage in criminal activity that would lead to my arrest.

Riiiiight. As if that would happen. No, these cops allowed the bastard to escape. This wasn't a case of "Keystone", this is more in line with "jury nullification."

But, he gave his word he would be right back. Once the cops got out of the cab it is reported that the escapee slipped back into the cab and got away. The cops had to call another cab to get back to the precinct. Boy, did they get some razing from their peers.

Any details of the cultural background of the police? This whole story actually makes no sense at all. Did they not have police cars? Are police allowed to take felons to jail in private cabs? Do felons really get to make personal requests on the way in? This just does not make sense. That many happy breaches of security could not be a coincidence. The story is either false or there was a plan involved.

If they were not Muslims, they may not have been allowed into the hallowed sacred ground of the mosque.
If they were Muslims, why couldn't they just go into the mosque with the prisoner, on this unscheduled stop on the way to prison?
Maybe our inability to understand the complexity of this story is related to our inability to translate Arabic to any other language.

Treachery and infiltration is a given in this war. For such blatant malfeasance it must be assumed that the “policemen” were accomplices in his escape and they should be harshly interrogated for information and then shot or imprisoned for treason as an example. Our enemy mutilates and kills even with suicide while our side seems too often to fight back like timid boy scouts.

The two escorts wait outside while the prisoner goes in to pray. Now the two escorts are being detained for investigation for possibly aiding the escape.
Possibly aiding?????
I could believe one escort was that stupid, but two?

Simple: fire the officers.
They obviously don't deserve their pay. Endangering the public with possible future terror attacks in the name of PC? Screw them and their jobs, this has gone way too far.

When Muslems started filling up or jails wesaw the same type of scam, Muslim males being transported to and from Court claimed them Quran
forcxed them to pray 5 times aday and they needed a break to pray.
Except once the cuffs were off the Devout Muslim attacked the guard and fled by foot ,the other scam was to fake being sick while knowing what local Hospital they would be taken to so their buddy could wait to spring him.
Here's a thought ,if they are Muslims as CAIR likes to professthen they shouldn't be going on a crime spree in Canada or live on walfare provided by the filthy infidels .
Or does Muhammad approve Muslims being lazy liars to show how pathetic Allah's values are.

Hugh, there are muslim film makers and others in bollywood. in addition muslim stars like shah rukh khanhttp://www.imdb.com/name/nm0451321/ and salman khan http://www.salmankhan.net/ are major popular bollywood actors. india affords the greatest freedoms for all people to express their artistic abilities. that is why indian films are known through out the world while pakistani and other films from islam lands are lousy and do lousy business. of course the indian mullahas don't like it when these muslim actors are doing very unislamic things in films but they are pretty much ignored. here are some pictures of 70's, and 80's female muslim star zeenat aman.
