I think we could all use a break from this bad news and enjoy a little poetry. I particularly enjoy this one because it is full of authentic detail and not vague abstractions. This is one poem by the recently arrested Jihadist female poet laureate of the UK

HOW TO BEHEAD

It's not as messy or as hard as some may think.
It's all about the flow of the wrist.
Sharpen the knife to its maximum.
And before you begin to cut the flesh,
Tilt the fool's head to its left.
Saw the knife back and forth.
No doubt that the punk will twitch and scream,
But ignore the donkey's ass,
And continue to slice back and forth.
You'll feel the knife hit the wind and food pipe.
But don't stop.
Continue with all your might.
About now you should feel the knife vibrate.
You can feel the warm heat being given off.
But this is due to the friction being caused.

Strange how the US is suddenly the friends of the white flag manufacturers while all the British men and women who died in Iraq and Afghanistan are suddenly forgotten.

The British Army could have walked out of Basrah on good terms if you lot hadn’t taken years to sort your bit up north.

I’d like to hear what a serving American soldier thinks of the British Army.

You know what, I just LOVE the name they use, Islam Is Peace. Reminds me my childhood, when every f***ing bolshevik propagandist preached peace, peace and peace. You just repeat a lie until some fools start believe it, just because they have seen it written often enough.

Well I have a straight reply for her: We will save ourselves as we did many times before, everytime you islamic scum dared to face us you were beaten, you have no sucking chance in an open war, you even have to rely on our technology and use weapons WE designed. Remember how many times you were defeated by Israeli army, when you not only outnumbered them by many, but also were supplied by top Russian weaponry, and yet you stood no chance again them. If I were you I'd never mention a 'war against kafirs' because it is an endless shame how poor fighters you are. Well open fight is something slightly different ompared to a murdering of helpless captives.

In brief, Quran is a violent book. The message of the Quran is a message of hate. This message is very clear and loud. It is inevitable that those who believe in the Quran and follow it be filled with hatred of those who do not believe in it. It is absurd to think that the hate inspiring teachings of the Quran have no relevance in the rise of the militant Islam. All one has to do is to listen to the sermons given in the mosques to see the kind of hate that is being taught there and where is the source of that hate. Yes, study the Quran to see where militant Islam takes its lessons.

It is possible to veer Islamic world towards moderation again. This can happen ONLY if Islam is weakened. Quran need not be reinterpreted, it must be denounced, scrapped and rejected. Scholars and politicians in Islamic countries must join force and challenge the authority of the Quran, the infallibility of its author and the legitimacy of his claim. They must secularize Islamic countries and stand strong against the Islamists. Islam must be attacked both on political and ideological grounds. It is insane that a billion people follow an insane man of the 7th century. It is insane that the rest of humanity go along with that. This insanity is bringing our world to the brink of destruction. Only when the belief in Islam is weakened, Muslims will turn towards moderation and modernization. With Islam and Sharia in the way, the only future awaiting Muslims is more bigotry, more poverty and more violence. And the only future awaiting the rest of mankind is more terror and more war.

I read that line and had an epiphany. That is the British, and in general, leftist approach to things, Change through Slogans, it makes so much sense now.

Think about it, if they keep telling everyone that Islam is Peace, no matter what the reality is, then eventually, everyone, including British Muslims, will believe that "Islam is Peace" because its what they have been told their whole life.

It works all the time, Change through Slogans.

I mean, that's how all the wars have been won, not through fighting, but through slogans, really, great idea they have going.

On December 18 Robert posted a story about a Kenyan politician who has, apparently, done a deal with the 'Muslim community' in Kenya, to the effect that, if he gets to be President, he'll let them impose sharia law in areas where they have a majority.

"Raila Odinga, the current frontrunner in the upcoming presidential election in Kenya has promised that he will implement strict Islamic Sharia law if he receives the Muslim vote in the country and is elected president.
"A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed on 29 August 2007 by Sheikh Abdullahi Abdi, chairman of the National Leaders Forum (Namlef), and Raila Odinga, presidential candidate from the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).
"Despite being signed in late August, the MOU was not made public until 27 November 2007.
"However, according to International Christian Concern (ICC) there are in fact two versions of the MOU. Persecution watchdog International Christian Concern claims that a private MOU was signed between Sheikh Abdi and Odinga which is very different from the one presented to the public.
"ICC says that in the secret version of the MOU, Odinga, if elected, would “within six months, rewrite the Constitution of Kenya to recognise Sharia as the only true law sanctioned by the Holy Quran for Muslim declared regions”."

And hot on the heels of that story, we get today's.

I hope someone is drawing Mr Odinga's attention, and the attention of all non-Muslim Kenyans, to the capture of a British Muslim convert, caught by Kenyan police in the company of thirty Somali Muslims all armed to the teeth.

Mr Odinga has to be told: THIS IS ISLAM. You want THIS, for any part of Kenya? Armed gangs terrorising everybody else? Plotting treason and armed insurrection? How about you have a look at Northern Nigeria and what Muslim mobs have done to Christians, and Christian churches; and the violent forcing of sharia rules upon non-Muslims? No: don't let Kenya go down that road.
