Woman caught with bomb under burqa

As the West continues to acquiesce to Islamic mores, we will see this kind of thing closer to home.

"Woman caught with bomb under burqa: official," from AFP (thanks to Sr. Soph):

ASADABAD, Afghanistan - Afghan intelligence agents said Monday they had detained a woman hiding a bomb-filled waistcoat of the type used in Taleban suicide attacks under her all-covering burqa.

The 55-year-old woman was followed from the eastern province of Kunar after a tip-off and arrested in the town of Jalalabad, an official in Kunar’s intelligence department told AFP.

“She was carrying the suicide waistcoat for the Taleban. We had intelligence reports that she was working for the Taleban,” said the official, who asked not to be identified by name.

The woman was being questioned “to find out more about her network,” he said.

Most Afghan women still wear the burqa, which was mandatory under the 1996-2001 Taleban government, and cannot be searched by men at security checkposts.

So, a burka is the Islamic version of a diplomatic pouch.

A bee in one's bonnet: not good.
Bats in one's belfry: bad.
A bomb in one's burqa: very, very bad.

When the public is forced to accept interaction with individuals who posses, under the auspices of a religious mores, the latitude to don a veritable disguise, anything goes. Then subjects such as Kimberly Al-Homsi,with her Dallas airport watching,road-rage grenade-in-hand threatening, and home standoff against the police, will cease to be so visible. Keep a watchful eye peeled. Regretfully, suspect all who choose to fly such "flags" for many in the past ignored these signs at their peril.

"Afghan intelligence agents said Monday they had detained a woman hiding a bomb-filled waistcoat of the type used in Taleban suicide attacks under her all-covering burqa."

Are we supposed to be bringing democracy and freedom to these people? How is that possible in a religion-dominated society where police can't even search for a bomb under a women's burga?

The very minimum a society needs to make democracy work is common sense -- a commodity in very short supply in most Islamic countries.

Why can't we just accept that there are people in this world that don't understand, like, or want freedom and democracy?

They live in darkness and prefer it, and they'll even fight and die for it.

We should know by now that that explains the mentality of the Muslim world.

If I wear a burqa, would they let me into the YWCA locker room?

I do not respect male Muslims. I do not respect female Muslims. I do not respect the Western religions and other groups who, in the name of multi culturalism, do not defend the rights of non Muslims, women, children and animals. I do not respect Christians, who rushing around to buy presents for this Christmas, have no clue about Islam or other world "religions." I do not respect those so-called atheists who have more than enough words to attack Christianity but not Islam. Why? Isn't all religious faith a sign of weakness? I do not respect anyone who professes to believe in a higher being and is so ignorant or dismissive (it's just an animal) of the suffering of others. And that there can be no god, allah, whatever when there has been, and continues to be, so much suffering and agony in ths world.

So let them be searched by women.

The conversation went something like this:

"Oh Farah! It looks marvelous!!! Wherever did you get it!?"

"It's by Farouk! I got it in the souk! Don't you just LOVE it?!?"

"I do!!! Does your husband approve!?"

"Why yes! Of course! He's very pious!"

"It is a little bulky, but I love it anyway!"

"Mr. Farouk says they're working on that. Mr. Farouk said next year they'll be able to get 20% more destruction with 10% less explosives, but I told him I simply couldn't wait!!! My grandchildren are expecting great things for this Eid. I simply couldn't disappoint the darling little ones!"

"I understand you completely!!! It's hard to refuse the little ones anything in this triumphant season!"

"Indeed!!! That's so true!!! Happy Eid, Zofra! I won't be seeing you again..."

"Oh, I couldn't be more happy for you, Farah!!! Just think -- martyrdom and the death of infidels in a genuine Farouk! What could be more fabulous?!?"

"I know! I am truly blest!!!"

A week or so ago in JW, there was a posting about the Islamics training little children to wear suicide-bomb vest, giving a whole new meaning to the term "baby-boomer". Now it's women in burkhas carrying bombs to terrorists. Next will probably be putting barely-adolescent boys in burkhas and fitting them with "bomb-bras" to sneak bombs thru check-points.

If the Moslems would just put as much thought and ingenuity into the sciences and engineering as they do into bomb-making and trying to kill people, they would sweep the Nobel prizes every year, and would put Chinese and Japanese industries out of business.
Imagine bragging to your neighbor: "I just bought a new 2008 Imam SE; it gets 45 mpg, does 0-60 in 5.5 sec, has 4wd, carries 6 in comfort, has a 10-year warranty, and only cost $18,000."
But that's probably forbidden by the Koran, so they'll stick to killing people, or trying to.

There is no doubt that Jihad and Islam has caused a world crisis. But the world-wide economic crisis that appears on the horizon may be an earthquake that will shake all conventional wisdom. Anyone associated with the lending industry knows that we are facing a global problem, the dark-side of the "global economy". I think the economic elites everywhere are bewildered. However, an economic catastrophe may bring much of the world to its senses. Common sense will have to trump ideology. Things are going to get very bumpy. We may be facing a global depression.

"As central banks continue to splash their cash over the system, so far to little effect, Ambrose Evans-Pritchard argues things are rapidly spiralling out of their control..."

I agree with this. And the truth is the "experts" are bewildered......

It would take at least 500 lifetimes of any scholar to grasp the complexities of life and civilizations. The complexity of the global economy is in many ways beyond the grasp of the most brilliant and leaders will not comprehend a melt-down of global markets. However, a melt-down will have unforeseen political-social ramifications similar to those the kicked up the turmoil of the 1930's. It will certainly impact hard on what Hugh has called the "cargo" economies of the world-those that must import food and the products of industry. The impact on the Mideast could be devastating.

It's very hazardous to predict the future. But I think evans-prichard is right in his hunch. We face a major credit crisis and it appears that even with increased liquidity that banks-lenders are afraid that their clients are insolvent. There is a whole lot of smoke and mirrors. Things could spiral out of control-if they ever were really controlled at all.

As the West continues to acquiesce to Islamic mores, we will see this kind of thing closer to home.
As explosives get more sophisticated in smaller amounts, there will be bombs under lycra skin suits.

The problem isn't the clothing. The problem is Islam.

Bats in one's belfry: bad.
A bomb in one's burqa: very, very bad.

'Most Afghan women still wear the burqa, which was mandatory under the 1996-2001 Taleban government, and cannot be searched by men at security checkposts'

.....Security checkposts should be renamed insecurity checkposts....it is a stupid conflict when you are not allowed to even look for the enemy...

....we should inspect all who go through checkposts and we should be allowed to inspect the mosques, and we should be allowed to devastate Taliban "safe areas".....

and we should begin an Immidiate Ban on Muslim Immigration....

Posted by: exsgtbrown [TypeKey Profile Page] at December 26, 2007 6:52 AM

...at the security checkpoints...those who refuse to be searched should be turned away and not be allowed to pass...

...if someone tries to force their way through without being searched...shoot 'em.....

....if the Muslim mob becomes irate and tries to storm the checkpoint...shoot 'em all....

....one the next day, re-erect the torn down sign that says, "Stop here for a security check"
and begin your new day....

....Religion has nothing to do with going through a security check point.....NOne of the worlds other religions have no problem going through security checkpoints...but then, they are not carrying weapons or bombs.....Only Islam has a problem with security checkpoints...but then Muslims are the ones carrying the weapons and bombs....

.....The security checkpoints are protecting other Muslims from Muslims....(most victims of Muslim violence are other Muslims)....

....Life is Hell if you are a Muslim....

NOne of the worlds other religions have no problem going through security checkpoints

...None of the worlds other religions have problems going ....(that is better)...
