"This is another example of how the terror organizations exploit the humanitarian aid that is delivered to the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip with Israel's approval"
"War Is Deceit" Update "IDF: Chemicals were disguised as EU aid," by Talia Dekel for the Jerusalem Post:
The IDF and Shin Bet uncovered 6.5 tons of potassium nitrate hidden in sacks that were disguised as aid from the European Union, the army announced on Saturday.
Security forces discovered the stash in the cargo of a Palestinian truck at a West Bank checkpoint earlier in December. According to the IDF, the material, hidden in sugar sacks, was planned to be used by terrorists in the Gaza Strip.
"Potassium Nitrate is a banned substance in the Gaza Strip and the Judea and Samaria region due to its use by terrorists for the manufacturing of explosives and Kassam rockets," the IDF spokesperson wrote in a statement.
"This is another example of how the terror organizations exploit the humanitarian aid that is delivered to the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip with Israel's approval," the statement read.

HAMAS and the Ikwan won't stop until the world is aflame from al-Andalus to East Turkestan. This is just another effort to strike a match.

What leads them to think that the EU was not the one sending explosive aid to Gaza?

Have to feed the olive trees.
That's one shipment, 6.5 tons. We're sending them over 7 billion, with a b, dollars.

The same people willing to exploit their children, even infants (like using a baby bottle to transport explosives) are willing to exploit humanitarian aid.
Gee, what a surprise! It's almost a step down.

The EU should be brought up on charges of aiding terriorism befor the supposed International Court. Or do those rules only apply to the United States and Israel?

Anybody remember the term "salt peter"? The two uses I recall was (probably Urban Myth) to reduce male arousal and in the process of making corned beef. Now, if someone was also trucking in two lorries full of cabbage, it might be plausible. How many Irish people do they have over there?

Out of curiosity, two questions.
1. How much does 6.5 tonnes of potassium nitrate usually cost, either in euros, or in American dollars?
2. Exactly how big a bang *do* you get if you turn 6.5 tonnes of potassium nitrate into a bomb and blow it up all at once?

You people have a malicious mind. It was for the rose gardens around christian churches.
Shame on you think otherwise

And since Islam forbids maintaining Christian churches, it had to be hidden in the sugar sacks so that the Islamists wouldn't destroy it first.

The potassium nitrate is certainly a worry but compared to the horror of the 'Mother of all rocket' shown in this link, we should be trembling in fear!
