Whoops. No virgins. "Two suicide bombers die in botched Pak attack," from Reuters (thanks to Jeffrey Imm):
KARACHI - Two suspected suicide bombers were killed in Pakistan’s central Punjab province early on Sunday when the devices they were carrying exploded prematurely in an apparent botched attack on a former minister, police said.The blast in Haroonabad, in southern Punjab, comes just days after former prime minister Benazir Bhutto was slain in a suicide attack, triggering widespread violence that has killed at least 44 people.
Police said they believed Mohammad Ejaz-ul-Haq, a former religious affairs minister in President Pervez Musharraf’s government who had earlier been staying at a house 200 metres (yards) away from the site of the blast, was the intended target.
“My guess is that they were there to target Mister Ejaz-ul-Haq who visited the area a day earlier,” Zafar Abbas, district police officer in nearby Bhawalnagar, told Reuters by telephone. Haq had already left the area before the incident.
Police found scattered body parts and the wreckage of a motorcycle at the scene of the blast, and suspect they either met an accident or fell from the bike, detonating the explosives.
“We have retrieved two heads, which are badly mutilated and cannot be identified. One appeared to be in his early 40s while the other is a younger one,” said another police officer....
Police said some religious elements at a nearby mosque had chanted slogans against Ul-Haq and Musharraf’s former government over a military assault on a Taliban-style movement at Red Mosque in Islamabad in July, which triggered a wave of suicide bombings.

Were any of the "body parts", by any chance, blown into a nearby mosque, where they were mistaken for pieces of pork, thus causing a major demonstration? See the 12-29 DW article.

But we have seen several cases of attempted jihad where the defense was that they were so incompetent, they were harmless. Incompetent, yes. Harmless, no.

Today in Toronto Canada there was to be a Muslim rally over the Bhutto death , or at least that's what the non-Muslims were told.
The Rally just happened to be plan for a area just North of the US embassey on University ave and my gut feeling was that this rally is a ruse to hide the Anti-US protests they plan to hold.
On friday a local radio station had 2 Pakistanis from Toronto who were to stay focused on the Bhutto killing and the mouring by Muslims in canada, but it only took about 10 minutes befor one of them blamed the USA and Israel by there Muslim-speak code words and claiming that Pakistan has never been a violent Nation until after the start of the "War on Terror" .
So....that fact that I can't find any news items about the rally pretty well tells me it don't down very well with the media and they feared showing the truth on video that the Muslims in canada have more of a Loyalty to islam and pakistan , no doubt these rent-a-mob yahoos marched to the US building to blame Bush for what Muslims choose to do even though they claim Allah forbids it .
This is the same Pakistani Muslims that denounced the RCMP arrests of the Toronto-17 jihadists as Racial profiling and Anti-Muslim hatred , they still defend the Jihadists that tried to slaughter thousands of civilians in Toronto with truck-bombs and now believe that the men being held are also being tortured and denied a Quran or prayer time.
The Honour killings have been mainly pakistanis ,the 2 groups of suspected Terrorists have been pakistanis ,the majority of murders and violence fro mthe Muhammad cartoons were in Pakistan , the riots and flag burnings are mainly in pakistan, and on and on......
But Muslims in canada still assert that Pakistan is the most peaceful non-violent Muslim nation on Earth, there you have it folks this is what Islam calls non-violent because we are now told that the actions in pakistan are passive compared to the real violence that Muhammad dispalyed when he slaughtered civilians.

...."religious elememts?".....an new name for "asians" or "angry youths".....the MSM is still afraid to say "Muslims".....
Muslim is a valid accepted name in the MUslim world...Muslims refer to often....If a Muslim commits an act of violence, then call it a Muslim act of violence....If the Muslim cites his Qur'anic verses as justification for the violence....then report it as well...as the truth should be reported....and the Muslims really hate it when the infidels know the truth about Islam....

This just illustrates the unstable nature of Allah.
Allah was willing to allow everything right up till he changed his celestial mind, and knocked the bombers off their bike. Allah was unwilling to let the bombing happen, but he was perfectly willing to cause the death of the bombers, and wreck the bike as well. Allah works in strange and mysterious ways.

What is needed is a method of detecting and exploding primed homicide-suicide jihadists long before they reach their target area.
The detection device must be able to operate at long range.
Preferably, the "premature" explosion should take place in a jihadist-friendly area amidst a jihadist-friendly population. This is not to be blood-thirsty but to discourage this type of murder and save innocent lives.

The police asked a passerby, who recognized an unattended bicycle at the scene, to examine one of the "heads" left at the scene by a recently departed jihadi. The passerby reached down and picking up the head by the hair, lifted it high in order to allow the sun to give him more light. " He looks familiar...same complextion and face...but I don't remember his being this tall."
