Gaza: Jihadists loot American school, "moderate" Fatah violently targets Hamas

Showing once again what the character will be of that viable, contiguous state that George Bush wants to give them. "Gaza: Gunmen loot American school; policeman shot dead," from AP (thanks to Sr. Soph):

Gunmen smashed windows, burned buses and looted computers belonging to a private American school in Gaza before dawn Saturday, an attack officials believed was linked to US President George W. Bush's visit to the West Bank earlier this week.

Also in Gaza, a roadside bomb injured three Hamas policemen, while medics found the body of another policeman who had been shot to death.

Saturday's attack on the American International School was the second in 48 hours. On Thursday, just before Bush arrived in the West Bank, gunmen fired a rocket-propelled grenade at the school.

Early Saturday, gunmen locked the school's unarmed guard into a room, burned six school buses, and smashed windows and computers, said principal Ribhi Salim. Other computers were stolen. No one claimed responsibility for the attack, which left one side of the building scarred with black smoke.

"This is terrorism against education," Salim said, while inspecting damage.

The school has been repeatedly targeted by vandals in the past for its perceived US link. The private school in northern Gaza holds classes in English and uses a US-style curriculum but has no ties to the US government.

[...]

A roadside bomb also injured three Hamas policemen lightly Saturday, Ghussein said. The bomb was detonated as a police patrol drove along a main road in Gaza.

Assailants have planted a series of roadside bombs targeting Hamas police since the militant group seized power of the Gaza Strip in June, defeating rivals from moderate Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah movement.

Hamas has blamed the attacks on Fatah, but the group denies involvement.

Medical officials said they found the body of a Hamas policeman, shot three times in the head and dumped in an isolated area of central Gaza.

Moderate roadside bombs, and moderate shootings in the head.

Moderate roadside bombs, and moderate shootings in the head.

Great Line, perhaps we could have some moderate beheadings and some moderate jihad attacks on tall buildings: then we could proclaim Mission accomplished!

Of course this is the very first time I have read about any sort of "terrorism against education" which especially seems to target education for women ...

"A roadside bomb also injured three Hamas policemen lightly Saturday, Ghussein said."

Hold the phone and stop the presses! Let's find out just how extensive these "light" injuries are. This may provide a clue as to how seriously a "lightly" beaten woman should be injured.

Re: "Showing once again what the character will be of that viable, contiguous state that George Bush wants to give them".

One would think, after the Iraq experience, that President Bush would understand that the problems here are in the dogmas of Islam. He should read JihadWatch and learn.

Israel must be destroyed and the Jewish people returned to their Dhimmi status. (That would be true even if Israel only consisted of those Jews who fled Muslim tolerance in Iraq, Morocco, Iran, etc.). Israel is a blasphemy against Islam because no territory conquered by Muslims must ever cease to be dominated by Muslims. The Arab-Muslim sense of entitlement here is the same as with regard to the Dome of the Rock Mosque-even though it sits on a Jewish temple. (When are Arab-Muslims going to dismantle the Dome of the Rock Mosque and return the temple to the indigenous people?)

In each case (Iraq or "Palestine") the President is dealing with an artificial entity. The real entity are the dogmas of Islam.

BTW, as per my comment above, I don't buy the conventional "wisdom" that the president is stupid. In fact, many who say that would look like fools in a one-on-one conversation with him. (So what would that make the critics who call him "stupid"?)

The problem with Bush is that he is extraordinarily stubborn and set in his ways. That's the reason he does not see that in the case of Iraq and in the case of "Palestine"-each is a dreamed-up entity. The president often sees what he wants to see and is not flexible in changing his opinions when there are more facts that warrant that.

There ia a reason while schools are attacked

Schools in Narathiwat and Yala to be closed indefinitely

Teachers in in Narathiwat and Yala decide on Monday to suspend all their classes indefinitely for fearing of their safety as suspected militants intensifed attacks on teachers.

The decision followed that of their colleagues in Pattani which decided to close their schools on Saturday.

The targets in these attacks are not random, but deliberate and targeted. They were spread and organised as a show of strength against the Thai State and its methodology is both clear and far thinking. The fact that Schools were burnt down by the muslims is due to the fact that the Muslim terrorist leaders in Southern Thia communities have realised that in order to educate future generations of terrorists to win their fight against the Thai state they need to remove Muslim children from the State education system that preaches a code of secularism and tolerance. The children that would have been educated in those primary schools will now be taught in the Mosques and the secret network of madrasses that exist in Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat will teach them their ideology of jihad instead. That way a generation of terrorists can be inculcated with the ideology of Intifada terror, trained in terrorism techniques and then sent out to fight for the East Asian Caliphate when the time is ready.

Other targets are hit in order to remove Buddhists/infidels from those areas entirely. The burning down of Buddhists/infidel run and owned businesses and factories in muslim areas, that were run by Buddhists/infidels and staffed by Buddhists/infidels means those businesses will no longer operate in those areas in future. This will ensure that the numbers of Buddhists/infidels in those muslim areas will diminish as they will no longer be required to travel into those areas and work in those schools and bussinesses.

Isn't it time for some Muslim or newscaster to say that "Islam is a peaceful religtion"?

Posted by: joeyindc [TypeKey Profile Page] at January 12, 2008 9:59 AM

I just cannot believe that any civilized individual, capable of rational thought, would think that creating a "Palestinian" state would be a good idea.

Pray, plan, prepare. There's no one at the helm, so keep your life jacket handy.

Frank...I agree. Bush is not stupid. I have joked about this several times pointing out that he practices stupid looks in the mirror, and saying stupid things, to confound and confuse the enemy.
I don't think it confuses muslims, but it raises havoc with liberal/leftists. I think this stupid stuff is Bush's method of 'acting jihad'.
Behind his act is intelligence, but I think it is entwined with deviousness. This is not unusual in politics, many practice looking stupid, and saying stupid things, witness the debates. Some have developed it into a high art form. Bush is just better at it than most.

I am still amazed that Hamas, Fatah or some SJS in 'Palistine', passed up on the opportunity to fire off a few hundred rockets in his direction.
They may never get a golden opportunity like that again...

Posted by: duh_swami [TypeKey Profile Page] at January 12, 2008 10:14 AM

Frank,
Bush rightly refused to support the Palestinians during the intifada. What about now? The Israelis withdrew and what was the result? We've seen Hamas take over Gaza and turn it into an armed camp. The West Bank is also falling into its hands but Bush is talking about giving them still more when every rejection of a peace overture should result in worse terms the next time, not better ones. I appreciated his stand early in his first term, even before 9/11. He's not stupid but he can be blind at times. Or is his desire for a legacy (can we please remove that word from the political lexicon until someone's been out of office for twenty years?) distorting his vision so much that he has been blinded to the reality of the intifada that has spread worldwide? Trade isn't the only thing that's gone global. Why doesn't Bush see that?
"Solving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict" won't change the reality on the ground in India, Indonesia, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Philippines, etc. It's just one item on the Muslim task list. Soon they'll find a new "chief" conflict that must be solved before there will be peace.

President Bush (VP of Mexico) may not be stupid (he did train in F-16's) but he certainly SOUNDS stupid...especially when trying to speak Spanish(Como estah usteyed). If you are going to attempt to speak a foreign language, please do your best at correct pronunciation. It has the effect of showing a certain aptitude, and puts those who hate us on notice...we understand what you are saying behind our backs/to our faces.

I believe Mr. Spencer has shown great ability in some of his Hotair videos to speak some arabic, among other talents, of course.

Still waiting for Condi to break out some of that Russian she supposedly knows...

As for Gaza..evacuate all those who wish to leave, then GIVE THEM NOTHING. Let them eat dog-doo, and drink donkey urine or sea water. We must let them cannibalize each other and broadcast this to the world.

Israel manufactures some of the fiberoptics I personally have used for Laser Surgery...specifically Kidney Stone Lithotripsy. We use ZERO products in surgery from anywhere else in the Middle East or Muslim World, because they do not give a damn to contribute to modern medicine in this fashion.

"...Jihadists loot ...."

.....yes, they usually do.....and usually accompanied with the traditional Islamic explosions and/or the scattering of body parts...

....one of their mottos may be: "more (violence) is better"....

Not so. When I lived in Cairo there were hi-tech medical experts (offices on the street) who sold Quranic charms for getting rid of pesky djinn.

Heck, I'VE got a solution to "the palistinian problem"!!! Give them the choice to return to their Arab "homeland", (ie; Trans-Jordan; established in 1922 by taking 80% of the Jewish homeland) peacefully assimilating into the state of Israel (as many other Arabs have) or meeting their 72 virgins! (or raisons, WHATEVER!) If these followers of a pedophilic, homocidal epeleptic, who hallucinated while in the midst of grand mals, want a home.....GO HOME!!! Any "palistinian" who stays and then commit ONE act of terrorism, is subject to the death penalty! (Yes, I'm aware Israel doesn't presently have the death penalty. But exceptions should be made for these animals. Think of it as putting a mad dog down, after it was proven this WAS the mad dog that injured or killed someone.) No prison sentence, so their fellow barbarians can "spring them" later! Mandatory death sentence, after conviction.
"Islam" is NOT a religion. It's a violent ideology, bent on world domination. To defer to it, as if it WERE a real religion, is to handicap yourself in an existential struggle for survivial.

Agree. I don't think he is malicious, but I do think he's slippery. He's not an angry fellow either. Except for Nixon, the American people do not elect angry guys president. He's an ok guy, but slippery. And man is he stubborn and set in his ways.

Didn't Condi recently say in one of her speeches about how the "Palestinians" are so eduated, love education so much, blah blah...

I am so disgusted that President after President gets sucked in by these savages and waste taxpayers money on these people who don't deserve to exist. Everything they touch they destroy.

What one thing have they contributed to the world besides terrorism?

Posted by: HOV Dummy [TypeKey Profile Page] at January 12, 2008 5:22 PM

The level of dislike/hatred for President Bush is so high, people will refuse to let anything he asks happen out of sure spite. Especially the Population Mass in the Middle East.

Israel needs to legitimize the ability to confront their enemy's while being viewed as victims. A Nation State can be dealt with with as such. With all the rights and privileges in Israels favor. With Violent activities of its Citizens considered as acts of War. Different that poor suffering Refugees being denied the basic human rights, the end of the Occupation along with all the other sad songs of suffering played off Soap Boxes.

In the mean time, the Two sides can distract themselves by figuring out which side loses last.

If the Worst of them kill each other off in search of spoils, who is really the ones to be worse off?

Israel is bound to have a major conflict with these people at some point. Not when their adversary Is raising Child age Suicide Bombers

The Iranians used them against Iraq. The Iranians support Hamas, We have seen some fine example 's of their TV programing of Young Minds. A new Hitler Youth with a twist.

How many years can Israel wait while this "Kids with Claymores" education continues?

Time is on the Table, A year to see what Bush wants, Bush will not get. From the Table watch it Fly.

Let's give them a state. On second thought, let's give them Crawford, Texas...

A_Nonny_Mouse-

None of this will work. Anyone who has attended JihadWatch School knows that the problem is in the dogmas of Islam. President Bush and Condi are clueless on this.

Like most Americans (we are practical, make a deal people) I could not understand why these assholes could not come to an understanding with Israel. It's Islam. Thanks to JW I get it and a lot of other people will also see the truth on this in the future.

This "peace plan" shall also fail. The problem is in the dogmas of Islam. The Jews have to be returned to their Dhimmi status in Dar-al-Islam. We have to face the facts-reality. It is what it is.
