exsgtbrown . . .a recently released, self published book uses that theme.

“HOT HOUSE FLOWERS” written and self-published by Brooklyn criminal court judge John H. Wilson, comparing illegal immigration to dandelions which overrun a greenhouse.

Plot:
A dandelion from outside a hothouse releases her seeds into the hothouse and the dandelions begin to use up all the water, soil, and sunlight. The native flowers, who remain silent for fear of appearing intolerant, begin to wither.

The God-like hothouse owner removes the dandelions. When the original dandelion sends in more seeds the native hothouse flowers use their roots and stems to push the dandelion seeds to the bottom of the hothouse, where they cannot grow. Seeing this, the dandelions outside the hothouse stop sending seeds in.

I purchased this book for my local elementary school and personally read it to my sons class when it was my turn to be 'secret reader'.
This book can teach many lessons beyond 'illegal immigration'.

I love the way Siljander attributes the release of the South Korean hostages to this Palestinian fatwa.

Wasn't it more attributable to the millions in ransom paid by the South Korean government, and the promise that Christian missionaries would not return??????

It is very obvious that Rep. Siljander has been bought, and paid for. It is embarrassing to see this kind of tripe being spouted by someone who has obviously no clue the kind of warfare being waged against him. Sleeping with the enemy...very sad.

The above scripture refers to spiritual things. Jesus never told us to stay away from sinners or unbelievers, quite the contrary. We are to bring the Gospel wherever we go.
We are not to blend belief with unbelief. You know, have a moslem cleric preach in our churches, etc.
You know..."cross-pollinate".

"Cross-pollinate" indeed. Just the way Muslims have done so in the southern Sudan or southern Nigeria, or in Egypt (with the Copts) or in Lebanon (with the Maronites). Whole lot of "cross-pollination" apparently going on.

But one thing is certain. Former Congressman Siljander has in recent years been a very busy bee.

My eyes were glazing over and my mind was starting to wonder until he used the word 'Holy Spirit'. He does not know or have a clue what the spirit of Christ will do. At the best it's a guess, but more probably he is just using it to validate all he just said.

I will list some verses to give insight into the Holy Spirit but by know means am I suggesting I know everything He is up too.

John 3:8
The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit

Rom 8:9
But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them are not Christians at all.)

John 15:26
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, which proceeder's from the Father, he shall bear witness of me

I Cor 2:11-15
No one can know what anyone else is really thinking except that person alone, and no one can know God's thoughts except God's own Spirit. And God has actually given us his Spirit (not the world's spirit) so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us. When we tell you this, we do not use words of human wisdom. It all sounds foolish to them because only those who have the Spirit can understand what the Spirit means. We who have the Spirit understand these things, but others can't understand us at all.

The Kuran teaches that Muslims may "make friends with neither Christians nor Jews." This teaching pre-empts any possiblity of "cross-pollination" between Christians, Jews and Muslims and actually makes it ILLEGAL under Islamic law!

Congressman Siljander is full of you-know-what.

How many Americans are aware of this teaching by the Kuran? I daresay that if more Americans WERE aware of this aspect of the islamic "faith" perhaps a good deal of terrorism financing going on in America would be stopped.
