While the Russians continue to aid and abet all this. From The Australian (thanks to Sr. Soph):
IRAN Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki has warned of "serious consequences" if the UN Security Council adopts fresh sanctions against Iran for its refusal to halt sensitive nuclear work."If a resolution is passed ... it will have serious and logical consequences and we will announce it later,'' Mr Mottaki said.
Foreign ministers of the five veto-wielding permanent members of the Security Council - Britain, China, France, Russia and the US - plus Germany agreed on a new set of sanctions last week.
The UN Security Council is due to discuss them later today.
Iran's official IRNA news agency reported today that Russia had completed delivering fuel for Iran's first nuclear power plant in the Gulf port of Bushehr.
"With the last consignment, Russia has fully delivered the 82 tonnes of fuel enriched by 1.6 to 3.6 per cent, along with the supplementary equipment," said a statement from Iran's Organisation for Production and Development of Nuclear Energy....

""If a resolution is passed ... it will have serious and logical consequences and we will announce it later,'' Mr Mottaki said...."
...as in disruption of the oil supply lines or oil facilities in Saudia Arabia?....the mining of oil shipping lanes or suicide speed boats in the oil shipping lanes?....massives rocket attacks against Israel?....attacks with chemical, biological, or nuclear weapons against the US forces in Iraq or the Jews in Israel...
....the Iranians nuclear programs garners a lot of attention from the worlds leaders, but seemingly unnoticed is their ongoing program in the chemical and biological warfare developement programs....it is far easier to disperse a biological agent than to send rockets....a few small vials carried in a briefcase or the pocket of a diehard militant Iranian can cause the deaths of tens of thousands very quickly....and with the porous borders of Europe and the US, such a person could easily enter....
...A prime military target for a rocket attack would be an aircraft carrier...a symbol of military might...one that carries 3,000 or more crewmembers....it is like hitting a small city...
....the Iranians have been training for these senarios and probably some others...
....Iran is planning on large scale death despite their claims otherwise....believe or not...

The current partial economic sanction has already inflicted Iran with a stinging pain. Iran is an oil producer, but it does not have enough oil to distribute as such that many people die in cold winter.
This article should be titled, "Don't be cruel to us, "Iran whimpered.

If Iran keeps talking like it has a death wish, someone will soon fulfill its wish...

Yes...whilst Iran exports crude oil, and their own special brand of islamic hatred, they can't make enough refined petroleum products to meet their own domestic needs.
The sanctions could be relative simple: cut off everything. Especially anything at all needed for the exploration, production, transportation, and refining of petroleum. Oil field grade tubular steel to pumps to welding rods. Don't sell those bastards so much as a PVC check valve. I know they'll run to Russia or the ChiComs for replacement parts. Let them spend all the money they want on that junk. They deserve exactly what they get.
In order to keep up a steady level of oil exports, they must continue to explore and develop new reserves in addition to maintaining what they already have. Same with refining- you've got to keep up what you've got, and constantly make improvements if you want to stay in the game. Deny these clowns the materials they desperately need and we'll slowly strangle them. Their oil production is falling off, they can't refine what they need- for God's sake keep up the pressure. Now is NOT the time to back off.

When is anyone going to put the Russians in check? Does anyone have any idea to the extent of Russian involvement in terrorism be it abetting countries like Iran or Syria to their KGB FSB training Al Qaeda and staging terrorist attacks even on their own citizens?
Russia has restarted a coldwar, US doesn't seem to know it's in one. Forget about upsetting the Russians, they need to be dealt with harshly. Kick them out of the WTO, the G7, kick them out of every meaningful organization....they're a twisted bunch running things in the USSR.

Logical? Did that man just say "logical"? And, did he make a threat, without even knowing what the threat is? ("We will announce it later")
Don't keep us in suspense, Mr. Mottaki. If you're going to rattle sabres, let us see the scabbards, at least!

Oh, Sneakyzionistcrusader, that was a little rich.
Okay, riddle me this, wise one
a) How many of the 9 11 terrorists had received training in the US Army as opposed to the Russian Army?
b) Tell me about the attitude of the US when Turkey started to funnel men and materiel into Chechnya. This is aid to the Al Qaeda terrorists we're talking about here, not humanitarian aid
c) Why did the US armed forces in Iraq make an explicit point of giving Islamist's sensitivities more weight than that of the local Infidels?
d) Why does the US continue to give countless billions to Pakistan even though Bin Laden is in very safe hiding in the same said country.
e) Why do both Iraq and Afghanistan's contstitutions have "ISLAM" at the top of the statements?
f) Why does the US President make a point of holding hands with KSA Islamists in public? We all know he's a drug taking hippie coward woofter, but does he really have to start having homo affairs in public? MY! The decorum! Or lack of it.
g) Why, with the rapidly changing exception of Israel, does the US always, but ALWAYS, side with the oil producing muslims in a Muslim/Infidel fight?
h) Why did the US AWACS help Iranian cargo planes land in Bosnia, full of arms, so that Bin Laden ( Yes, that Bin laden ) and his men could slaughter Infidels?
i) Why, according to Bodansky who I'm assuming you've heard of before, is Chechnya the only success story against the Islamists?
Any chance of a reply?

Of course not. All we need do is detonate an Electro Magnetic Pulse weapon over Iran's airspace and then we can forget all about those nasty-assed Mullahs, their arsenal of weapons of mass destruction, and their armies of killer-zombies.

We could hope Iran's Gasoline Refinery has an accident. a big one in fact.
The sudden discovery of old Mines around a number of Iranian Ports would be nice as well.
Allah willing of course.

Sounds like that "peaceful" nuke program may have passed the point of being peaceful already.

Are the Russians stirring this pot because concern over Iran's instability props up the price of energy?

clinton lied and people died ewha.
Easy as that. It seems like the left is always the useful idiots...just the way they support the troops and not the war. Sorry, the troops need bullets and if you don't send bullets for this war the troops ain't being supported. When it is the left's Pres in office, just like Clinton, they can invade balkan states with monica and al queda as your posse. Don't forget to bomb the chinese embassy.
Useful idiots during the Nazis, Coldwar, and jihadist.
