As always, the PLO -- which is merely the earlier name of the "Palestinian Authority" -- has been there first. For there is hardly a method used by Al Qaeda in the Greater Jihad, that has not been used before by the shock troops of the Lesser Jihad, the one against Israel, which is not to be confused with the Lesser Jihad against Christians in Nigeria, or the one in the Sudan, or the Lesser Jihad against Hindus in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indian-possessed parts of Kashmir, and India itself, or any of the other subsets of the Greater Jihad that can be called Lesser Jihads.
For the "Palestinians" have long been using women, young boys, even mental defectives, as their human deliverers of explosives. When Al Qaeda, or the Taliban, employs such methods in Iraq or Afghanistan or, soon, in countries that are seen as within the Lands of the Infidels (Bilad al-Kufr), they are merely following the methods first copyrighted by the Arab Muslim terrorists who function as part of the "Palestinian" movement.
Whether that group has a real or a phony name, whether it is called Hamas or Islamic Jihad (surely a redundancy), or the made-up "Black September" (a name given to a fake group of Arafat's men, and of his henchmen such as Mahmoud Abbas, one of whose feats was the murder of two American diplomats in Khartoum), the goals and methods of these groups are the same. Their differences amounted to little more than the different warlords, with different levels of loot, who ran them and "took responsibility" (or disguised it, as in the case of "Black September") for these acts.
Nothing new about the modus operandi of Al Qaeda. The PLO has been there before. It was the test case: could terrorism work? Could it accomplish certain goals? The reaction of the Western world, in failing to stand by Israel, and urging it to crush, by all means, terrorists and their supporters, and not to give an inch in any "peace-processing," showed that terrorism can work.
It is working, still. And it will work as long as the Western world continues to "fight terrorism" by ignoring the malign source of that terrorism in the promptings of Islam itself, in the Qur'an, Hadith, and Sira. And that willful refusal to consider the meaning, and menace, of Islamic Jihad, means that the head of NATO, the United States, cannot allow itself to consider the internal threat within the NATO countries, within the larger Western alliance, within the West itself, of a growing, aggressive, and permanently worrisome Muslim population.
Instead, we rely on the least effective, and most depleting of tools of policy: bribery. And it is ineffective, these bribes of foreign aid. In essence, given the attitudes of both the Infidel givers and of the Muslim recipients, it is nothing but a disguised form of Jizyah. Instead of attempting to buy off certain states and peoples -- the fantastic sums being squandered by the American government in Iraq, Afghanistan, in Pakistan, in Egypt and Yemen, in Jordan and the so-called "Palestinian" territories (given to the Slow Jihadists of Fatah, who still control the Arab-occupied parts of Judea and Samaria, who may or may not share it with Gaza) -- that money should be denied all Muslim states. They should be required to ask for such help from Saudi Arabia, and the U.A.E. and Kuwait, and other fellow members of the Umma, the Community of Believers. Every dollar that the Saudis give Egypt for bread (to keep the fellahin from rioting) is a dollar not available, as part of the Money Weapon of the Jihad, to pay for mosques, madrasas, campaigns of Da'wa, and armies of Western hirelings all over the Infidel lands.
Diminishing oil revenues, and finding ways to use up as much of the reserves that the Saudis possess as possible, and to do so in a way that creates constant friction and resentment (on the part of both donor and donee) within the Camp of Islam, should be an obvious goal of Western policy to defend itself against the Jihad. So far, however, it has not been. Indeed, American policymakers continue to believe in the efficacy of the Jizyah, the continued, never-to-be-examined-or-analyzed, large-scale bribing of Muslims as a tool of policy -- a tool of policy that is not merely ineffective, but is positively damaging to the real understanding of Islam, and of how to weaken the Camp of Islam and Jihad.

.....absolutely.....not one more dime of foreign aid to Muslim countries.....not one more dime....
...what will they do?....cut off the oil...so what.....they will have to adjust to doing without all that oil money and without all that foreign aid....we will still survive...and be better off for it....
...and of course they must keep their own people, who will surely miss all that infidel money...

The West will also continue to fail in "fighting" the terrorism of the lesser jihad against Israel by ignoring its real source, which is the refusal of the terrorists to accept Israel's existence. No amount of concessions by Israel will satisfy Fatah, Hamas, the Hezbigots, any other anti-Israel organization. No Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank or Gaza, no amount of Isreali aid in any form, and no offer of Israeli land short of its complete destruction will stop the terrorism. As long as one square micron is under non-muslim Jewish control, the situation will be unacceptable to the neighboring Arabs.

I'm with you on that...How much of that aid/jizya slips into the pockets of certain officials and power people is probably unknown, but I bet it is a lot. I read an article by an Iraqi finance minister urging the US not to send more money because it was disappearing down a rat hole. Apparently Bush and Comp, don't know anything about that.
I wonder, just how big is the personal fortune of Abu Mazen? Talk about terrorism paying off, there is one visible example. Arafat refined the rip off to an art form, that is repeated by people in position
to keep the jizya flowing. Abu knows all about Arafats plans and methods, he helped develop them.
Yep, just in case, the copter stays warmed up on the tarmac, the bags of cash ready to go. The escape to the loving arms of Hugo, who will be very happy to see him, and his luggage. It would seem, that everyone with the power and availability to pocket jizya payments, does so. Abu Mazen is just one example. I bet there are warming copters all over the place, and lots of bags of loot, ready to go. Hotel Hugo is the destination...

It is in the interest of China and Russia to see jihad going against the west. Russia supplies nuclear fuel and built reactor for Iran, and no sooner than Sarkozy is invited to build a military base in UAE, China offers to build a military base in Iran-- see news today.
Like Jimmy Carter used Muslims in the war against USSR in Afghanistan, the German used Turks against England throughout Middle-East during WWI and WWII, now the Russians and Chinese use them against the west.
Muslims are like boys, who love shooting games. For as long as someone else pay for the toys, the game continues.
Besides Russia and China, we have our own friends helping Iranian's economy; Germany is the greatest trade partner of Iran. Britain follows behind Germany.
Both Russia and China want to keep the west busy in the Middle-East, while they grub money.
The Middle-East countries are chess pawns of good and evil in the world; they are the footmen every valued the least.

They accepted that role and they play it to perfection. They can cease to be pawns. They can develop their own economies and their own people beyond oil and beyond the mosque. They don't. No one is stopping them. Not even the much-hated Israel is stopping any of these countries from becoming great. They all have a rich history and they have the power to better themselves. Don't feel sorry for them. They give us nothing to value.

They can make their own decisions. Those guns aren't glued to their hands. They can put down the guns. They don't.

indeed, apart from misplaced sympathy for Muslims like boys who like to behead, rape and enslave, it is useful to look how they have been used by bigger powers. It was the Soviet psyops (of 60's-70's vintage) penetration in European and the US education and media that allowed the current advances of jihad into these lands, and the game continues to be played, with powers like Russia and China thinking, presumably, that they can control the beast they feed and unleash.

When the west is completely swallowed up by the beast they fed, Russia and China will have no trouble wielding it because the human rights organization stemmed from the west will have died with it. In fact, the human rights legislations have been the west’s most deadly cancer. Russia and China beat the west according to her own rules.
When the west plays political correctness, both Russia and China military regimes kidnapped and pickled terrorists in their land and send them postal parcel to the warlords.
After claiming responsibility for Beslan School siege, Chechen warlord Shamil Basayev was bomb to pieces. His followers, each received a jar of Basayev body parts. China distributed the daughters of Urdu Muslims to nightclubs throughout China, starving them from demographic expansion.
China and Russia know how to feed the beast and unleash it against us; they can still wield it at will.
America needs some large-size canning jars.
