Former president of Islamic Association for Palestine indicted for naturalization fraud

From the IAP came CAIR, and the rest is history. "Former IAP President Indicted For Naturalization Fraud," from IPT News (thanks to Sr. Soph):

Yaser Bushnaq, a former president of the Islamic Association for Palestine has been indicted in Virginia for naturalization fraud.

In applying to become a U.S. citizen in 2000, Bushnaq is accused of failing to disclose his affiliations with a series of organizations that the indictment links to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas. The indictment clearly defines the IAP as "an overt arm of the covert organization known as the Muslim Brotherhood."

In addition, it alleges that when Bushnaq applied to become a citizen he failed to disclose:

* He was the IAP's president from 1989-1991.
* That he worked under the pseudonym Yaser Saleh.
* He was a board of trustees member for the Al Aqsa Education Fund, "an organization that sought to raise funds for Hamas."
* He was an authorized signatory for the Marzook Legal Fund, established in 1996 to support Hamas leader Mousa Abu Marzook after his arrest by U.S. authorities.

Read it all.

Quote:

"Bushnaq is an unindicted co-conspirator in the Hamas-support trial of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF), which, along with the IAP, is listed as part of the Muslim Brotherhood's Palestine Committee operating in America."

Exactly how many "unindicted co-conspirators" are there? Sheesh!

Oh, wait ... Islam has 1 billion followers. I forgot.

It must be another misunderstanding of Islam.

When will we wake up to colonisation of the west by these people? Islam DEMANDS the subjugation of non-muslims. We need to get rid of the politicians who support this. They are traitors who suport islam for fear of losing their jobs. I see islamic supremacism every single day. But I see politicians supporting them for their votes, EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Can anyone tell me any country that muslims have migrated to that is really, truly peaceful? I mean in the sense that a non-muslim man or woman, child or adult, can walk around and not feel threatened? That can go in a church that they can maintain and build a new one if they feel like, or stay at a motel or go to a bar without thinking it might be blown up? Where school girls can walk to school and hope they don't get beheaded, or raped and then beheaded? A country where the majority of muslims will work and not depend on welfare from their host nation? And not secretly practice their own animalistic sharia laws?

If you do name a country - I would lay down money on a bet that they have a population of muslim

Remember, where that coy, virginal little muslimette is - the jihadists follow shortly thereafter. At least this is what I am seeing, hearing and reading about.

I followed a link to the (sic)Daily Mail (I know)
and found a story about Britney's boyfriend having being married and divorced, before the one that is divorcing him now. They said he could be deported for not disclosing a divorce.
Cool, get these guys however you can.

BTW, CAIR Linked donations for the survivors of 911 to Hamas-thus adding secret insult to injury. Nice.

Despite his fairly obvious Islamist ties, Bushnaq was often treated as a credible spokesman by gullible media outlets, such as NPR (which characterized Bushnaq as "help[ing] protect the rights of Muslim Americans" after the terror attacks of 9/11), the Voice of America, and the Washington Post, in which he defended his friend Alamoudi's criminal behavior.

-from the article

Calling these news outlets "gullible" gives Bushnaq too much credit. How about "complicit"?

You know, I am beginning to doubt the 1.5 billion moslem story. I'll bet that they are counting the dead ones too.

Why was Yaser Bushnaq allowed into this country to begin with? The very fact that he is a Muslim makes him hostile to the ideals and principles of the United States of America. His association with the Muslim Brotherhood, or any other Muslim organization, is secondary. His Muslim theology is what drew him to them, and that's all that should be considered when determining his suitablility for immigration to this country.

The United States should bar all Muslim immigration, and state very clearly the reason: Islamic theology and morality are incompatiple with the moral foundations of a liberal democratic society, and, therefore, have nothing to contribute to the success of our nation.

It's time we tell Islamic socities that their moral codes are inferior to our own. Period.

Absolutely! I can remember when we were taught in public school that the US was the best country ever.
How things have changed.
There is good and there is bad. Situational ethics be damned.
Funny isn't it how the LLLeft uses the Bible's quotes on "not judging", yet they judge our way of life continuously.

The tepidness of our prosecution shocks. It is obvious that fraud was involved, as has been the case with countless other Muslims who've come here under utterly false pretenses.

But unexamined and unexplained is their motivation for coming here in the first place. When links can be proven that these Muslims have connections with insurrectionist and supremacist Islamic organizations, their "crimes" rise much much higher than those associated with mere fraud.

I interpret the actions of such Muslims to be nothing short of espionage and the waging of war. Once we knew how to deal with such sewage, and it didn't involve slaps on the wrist, and easy time or short time spent in a comfortable cell in some penitentiary...

Posted by: jsla [TypeKey Profile Page] at January 31, 2008 1:03 PM

So is this guy going to be deported? imprisoned? or be allowed to continue as usual while the appeals are slooowwwly wending their way through the legal system? At which time he will just disappear into the population and fail to show up for his deportation hearing.

Concerned Citizen:

This indictment is not necessarily the end of US government employment options for this Muslim in the myopic eyes of the US government. You see--

Now he has experience as a Muslim in the US. The good folks at the State Department could still very well enlist him as a 'consultant' on US national security; I'll bet Nick Burns and others like him would be happy to work alongside him.

Then again, ol' Wobbly Bush and Con-dumb may decide to bring him aboard him as an advisor to their Palestine Liberation "roadmap."

The MSM have pre-chosen John McCAIR the CAIRorist-cuddler as the Repblucian candidate. In case Hitlery doesn't win he's their backup choice.

Great news for the jihadists.

They just had a great 16 years of unequivoval help from ClintonBush and it looks as if they will get at least four more.

How much money is the McCAIR campaign getting from the SOWdis?

Muslims would not be able to get away with these things in America if more Americans knew what they SHOULD know about Islam.

the family name Bushnaq among Arabs indicates that his family originally came from Bosnia. Thousands of Bosnian Muslims left that province when the Austro-Hungarian Habsburg Empire took it over from the Ottoman Empire about 1878 after the Congress of Berlin. Arabs in the Land of Israel [aka "palestinian Arabs"] come from diverse geographic locations and ethnic background.

I note in a comment above that the NPR [national public radio] often had Bushnaq on as a guest to discuss issues from his partisan viewpoint. Bear in mind that the NPR is a US govt-sponsored radio network. Your tax dollars at work.
