Not surprising. At the thought of Hillary or Burak as president, I feel faint myself. McCain doesn't make me feel so good either.

"Maybe if we asked them about jihad, the candidates would faint."
Their positions on the really important issues facing the country are alreadhy pretty faint-hearted. I wonder if there will still be a U.S.A. in 8 years, if any one of them is elected.

I swooned and convulsed when I saw the staged footage. Obama, do you have a bottle of Johnny Walker to spare?
Chris Matthews has a certain thrill that travels up his leg when Obama speaks.
"I Felt This Thrill Going Up My Leg" echoed in my ear all week.
"I Felt This Thrill Going Up My Leg" echoed in my all office all week.
"I Felt This Thrill Going Up My Leg" sounded like flatulence after a while.
Then, Joe Scarborough said, "I might have a feeling running down my leg."
Was it his urine?

I usually fart when I see or hear any of these dhimocrats.

I keep accusing Obamamaniacs of swooning, now I have confirmation. Only females are swooning, they did that for Sinatra in the 40's, then Johnny Ray in the fifties, then Elvis, and the Beatles, now the star of the show Barack. Why do they always call for water for a passed out person? To sprinkle on their face maybe? Baracks responses do seem rehearsed, 'must be heat, give her space and water, calling for professional help'. I don't think that the fainting is fake, swooning is to be expected, even encouraged, but he has probably been told how to act when it occurs, take charge, act concerned and responsible, look like a take charge presidential guy. Hillary did the same 'take charge', look good, approach. Bill looked surprised and confused, and did not attempt to take charge or look good.
Of course he is not running for office, at least not officially...

Whole lot o faintin' goin' on!
Did you see that girl topple behind Bill?
I watched the Obama videos as much as I could. The one in Hartford with scumbag Ted Kennedy on the platform I couldn't stomach. I met Caroline briefly many years ago, and in fact thought she was smarter than to back an obvious charlatan snake-oil-salesman like Obama.
Yeah, I think the Obama fainting could be a scam.

Good news is the MSM is all over the Roger Clemens trial/sarc
The next four years will be very interesting in a scary sort of way.

They probably fainted from shock - that they were actually supporting these people.

The candidates, on the other hand, would not faint if you asked them about jihad. They would just give you a blank stare, as if to ask: what ARE you talking about? Don't bother me with such nonsense. I have baseball players on steroids to worry about.

Really. Who cares! Oh, and the Hollywood Writer's Strike - gee, I'm so concerned about that I can't sleep at night. Oh, and what about that falling spacecraft? And the Google/Yahoo merger?
HELLO! WHAT ABOUT THE GLOBAL JIHAD YOU IMBECILES!

!! You totally cracked me up, PMK. I don't think people use this too much anymore, but: ROFLAO!

Darcy,
You left out global warming. I heard yesterday that global warming will kill more people than terrorism or WMD. So I guess that means we should just stop worrying about jihad!
Hillary and Barack and Johnny will combat global warming so all our problems are solved.
Doesn't that make you feel so much better? I just feel so relieved that they understand what the problems of the world are and how to address them. (yikes!)

Uh Huh, if only there was such a thing as global warming, that would be good! As there is no global warming -only global climate change which is natural and normal-the dhimmicrats as usual are tilting at windmills.

I take great offense at anyone but Jesus being referred to as "Messiah." So, I think I'll go out and riot, burn down a few buildings, throw rocks at cars and people, issue a few death threats and demand respect! You know, the Mohammedan Way.
Seriously, this labelling of Obama as Messiah by otherwise-sane Americans is very disturbing. They remind me of the MoonBats welcoming the aliens in "Independence Day."
And you remember what happened to them.

Nope, none of those candidates alone would make me faint, but I might keep some smelling salts handy on election night, whether the election is won by More of the Same, More of the Same but Worse, or More of the Same but Much Worse, as I like to think of them.
That is, unless a sufficient number of similarly dissatisfied voters stage a successful write-in campaign for the late Fred Rogers.
Then, at least we'd be reassured every morning on PBS that the country could "never go down the drain."
But... hold the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. There's been enough time spent there already.

interestinconundrum,
You beat me to it. I was going to make a sarcastic remark that one day people will claim that Obama cast out demons at every speech, and that he might be the Messiah!

Obama is keen towards doing what is necessary to make the U.S. energy independent. He is also not averse to having Republicans in his cabinet who follow this thinking. Sen. Lugar and Gov. Arnold are mentioned as a couple of his favorites; both of whom support alternative fuel research and radically increasing gas mileage standards. Personally, I can not think of a better defense policy to combat and defeat the Global Jihad than to deprive them of the oil weapon.

From time immemorial people have been looking for the Messiah. The muslims have one. Dictators and despots make the same appeal as they move to power. Every politician tries to rap him/herself in the Massiah rob. In many ways the Messiah syndrome is deep rooted in most cultures.
On the opposite end of this longing is the Anti Christ. Can you think of all the famous and infamous people through the years that have been labeled accordingly.
These are indeed strong currents in the psyche of the world.
Matthew 24:24-27
For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great miraculous signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God's chosen ones. See, I have warned you. So if someone tells you, `Look, the Messiah is out in the desert,' don't bother to go and look. Or, `Look, he is hiding here,' don't believe it! For as the lightning lights up the entire sky, so it will be when the Son of Man comes.

If Jesus was speaking at one of these big gatherings, he would have healed the person of whatever what ailing them. As he did.
But like Huckabee stated, Jesus would not be running for anything. He is just a little bet smarter and does not need anything to have his will done.
