Muqtada Al-Sadr declares three days of mourning for jihad terrorist Imad Mughniya

Just something for the learned analysts to consider as they continue to urge that Al-Sadr be "included in the political process." "Muqtada Al-Sadr Declares Three Days Of Mourning For Mughniya; Source: Mughniya Trained Mahdi Army, Assassination Squads," from MEMRI (thanks to Sr. Soph):

The Sadrist Shi'ites in Iraq, led by Muqtada Al-Sadr, have declared a three-day mourning period for Imad Mughniya.

An Iraqi security source said that Mughniya had entered Iraq via Iran, and had trained some 500 members of the Mahdi Army, which belongs to the Sadrists.

He added that he had also trained a number of squads in planning and carrying out assassinations within Iraq.

Three whole days of mourning?

Are they caught up in a misunderstanding like the BBC?

British Broadcating equated former Lebanese prime minister Rafik Hariri and Hizbullah terror chief Imad Mughniyeh as "great national leaders."

BBC's Hawkesley's reported on what he called "an amazing day for Lebanon," when a memorial rally for Hariri was followed by Mughniyeh's funeral, and concluded: "The army is on full alert as Lebanon remembers two war victims with different visions but both regarded as great national leaders."

Then the BBC issued a statement Friday acknowledging that "the scripting of this phrase was imprecise" and apologizing to anyone who was offended by the item.

"We accept that this part of the report was open to misinterpretation."

Well, one man's crook is another man's great national leader...

Oh, you mean Al-Sadr, the Iraqi Anti-Christ who has his own army, that everyone, including our gov., is afraid to move against.

Three whole days of mourning for this great national leader of this great 'religion of peace'??

How about three whole days of shouting "Im glad this murderous scum-bag is gone"!

Three days of celebration is what is called for - at least in the civilized world. Anyone who "mourns" the passing of this beast should be noted and identified as a terrorist and declared persona non grata anywhere in the West.

Mossad, my hat's off to you! Your operation was a daring one and I congratulate you.

Mughniya got a bang out of his work. Great. May his circle of Friends receive the same from theirs.

...as if this is something new....at one point in time the Marines had this nutcase cornered in Fallajuah, the Marines were set to assault the building and eliminate this worthless excuse of a human, but to the Marine commanders amazement , the assault was called off by a "joint US and Iraqi governmental " decision....

....one of the bigger mistakes made in the war...

Why is Al-Sadr not in club Gitmo, relaxing in the sun, while sipping Gitmo's famous halal spring water, and nibbling on organic falafel cakes.
Life could be worse. Allah could deliver him into the hands of Sunni's who belong to the Sunni Butcher Union Local # 15514, which is Allah's phone number at Mecca. Look at your phone buttons, the letter designations usually start with, 1.A 5.L, 5,L, 1,A 4.H, 15514, Allah's phone number, unlisted until now. Even Sadr does not know it. But you do, call Allah now, call him often...If a woman answers, hang up...

He may not be dead. Or maybe he is. The whole thing is a mess. Put up a big wall, I say.

Mughniya's death has not only eliminated a national hero from the Ummah, but Barack Obama has lost a possible running mate for his presidential run.
