I do believe this position that the Danish "authorities" have taken is to keep the Danish citizens from becoming overly concerned.

Kind of like an Airline pilot telling the passengers that they are doing mid-air maintenance when a wing rips off in flight.

I can just hear it now, “Please remain calm folks, we’re just experiencing some mid-flight maintenance. We’ll get back to you when it’s all over.”

Or, “Due to unseasonably mild weather, your car burst into flames and a group of “youths” gathered around it to chant, “Allah’s a Crackhead”. Sorry for your loses, I hope you have fire insurance for your auto.”

I believe it.

Its a well known fact that Muslims have a tendency to set fire to things in mild weather. Its also a well known fact that they like to blow themselves up in Summer (but anytime will do). In the Winter they like to behead people and in the fall they like to fly aircraft into buildings and kill lots of people. During Ramadan they like to sprinkle human excrement onto chocolate cakes and serve it to Kufrs. They also like to go on pilgrimages and throw stones at a large rock in the middle of the desert whilst at the same time praying to it for forgiveness.

Well, there's the foehn wind in the Alps, which is said to drive men mad, and which courts sometimes accept as a mitigating factor in certain crimes of violence.
So if a wind can sometimes drive the staid Swiss mad, I can well believe that a little mild weather would set off the Moslems -- they're more than 1/2 mad already.
The Danes should just put them all in asylums until they're cured, which might take a long time. Of course there are those who will complain of the expense involved, but just think of all the money saved from not paying welfare to all of them, and of the savings on new garbage trucks.

(There are, of course, minor factors like natural cycles and Chinese-made CO2, but those are insignificant.) Thus, it's Bush's fault for causing the global warming that caused the mild weather in Denmark that caused the muslims to riot.

In an old movie a oldtimer NYC cop is telling a rookie, that violence peaks at exactly 92 degrees.
It may be an interesting study to compare temp, and weather conditions with Islamic uprisings, riots etc...

Well, this is a hard one.

On the one hand, the youngsters who riot tend to be muslims, though not all of them, there are also some squatters and anarchists amongst them. That it's predominately muslim youths doing this tells a lot about the contempt that these peopel feel for their host country, a notion that has undoubtedly been given them, or reinforced by, their muslim parents.

On the other hand you have to ask yourself how well developed ideas about politics and religion a kid aged 14, 15 or 16 has. At that age most boys think more about sex and computergames than such heavy matters. Many of them are losers who find great pleasure in burning down buildings and vandalize public property. Teenagers rebel against authority and if you're a loser in society doing such things can give excitement and a feeling of being important that they you would otherwise never get.

So yes, I think it has got something to do with religion - Islam of course - but these kids are hardly hardcore Islamists.

We did this too in the Midwest where I grew up. When spring came early, when the weather was particularly mild, and school was closed due to holidays or spring break, we'd rampage like maniacs across the suburbs and in the cities looting, burning cars, throwing cinderblocks through storefront -- all of it.

Oh wait. That never happened. Not once. I am mistaken.

It's all coming back to me now. As I recall -- when the weather was mild, and school was out -- we'd visit our family -- go shopping -- play with friends -- go on outings. We'd have a picnic -- we'd go to the zoo -- we'd play a game of football -- sometimes even in the cold mud -- or we'd play the first game of baseball in the season. I don't remember ever burning a car. I don't remember ever terrorizing an old Jew. I don't ever remember throwing a cinderblock through a store front -- or anything remotely similar.

My how times have changed.

Anders Fogh Rasmussen, our Prime Minister has made it clear that ALL responsibility for the violence we are witness to in these days lies solely with the 'youths' carrying out the attacks and their parents. Justice minister Lene Espersen has told the national media that the government intends to make the rioters parents responsible.

Peter Skaarup of the nationalist Dansk Folkeparti is proposing that the parents of children arretsed for starting fires are ordered to pay for the damage.

As I write this post, the fire engines are on their way out to Gjellerup once again...

Warm weather should inspire:
1) Walks in the park with your girlfriend? No. Muslims aren't allowed to mingle with unmarried members of opposite sex.

2) Taking the dog for a walk? NO. Islam teaches that dogs are filthy animals and not worthy of pets.

3) Sitting outside on the patio and having a beer? NO. Beer is forbidden in Islam.

4) Going to the beach or going out to a movie? NO. Women at the beach and in movies do not dress modestly and promote promiscuity.

5) Riot, arson, assault, vandalism? YES, these practices are easier in warm weather and are not forbidden under Islam.

My Danish isn't perfect but since it seems a bit shocking that the Danes might mention the nice weather as having an impact, I just wanted to bring it to people's attention that according to the Danish newspapers, some of the people who've been arrested have blamed the cartoons and others actually blame being bored on their winter holidays. So when people think it's a bit nuts to hear Danish people quoted as saying "I think they were just bored." well... they're just quoting what the ruffians are telling them.

What's really sad is that from what I can tell, reading the Danish press, most of the people involved are kids - literally 12-17, with a few older ones in their mid 20's sprinkled in. I hope they do hold the parents accountable for this stuff, too. It's inexcusable. Another Danish article I read had a sociologist I believe saying blaming it on "not being allowed to integrate" was just plain "rubbish" because there have been peaceful immigrant communities in Copenhagen for decades.

Oh yea, it's the warm weather. Like most Americans when the weather warms I think of going to Detroit or some other Muslim cesspool, like maybe parts of Tampa and setting fire to Muslim owned cars or businesses. But like all my fellow countrymen I resist the urge. But I can identify with the feeling. It's all because of global warming which George Bush caused by using his chainsaw so much at his Texas ranch. Cut them some slack. They're Muslim and can't help themselves. It would be funny though if the Danes said "Sorry...no more trucks...no more garbage pickup. Just pretend you're back at home. Throw it out the kitchen window."

Paging all Danes here present -

can you tell us exactly how many schools, which ones, in which areas, have been attacked? Primary schools or high schools? And whether the areas they're in, are majority-Muslim, or not?

Similarly - where exactly were those 35 garbage trucks burnt, and all those cars? If the areas are Muslim-dominated, how many mosques are there, and where are those mosques in relation to, say, the schools and police stations (give us a google earth or other reference).

The Reuters article is far too vague and generalised, to be of much real use.

29 people have been arrested. Can Danish posters and readers come back here and tell us, once the names, ages, and gender mix of those arrested get into the local press or court records? Names will be a dead giveaway as to ethnic background.

For some perspective on Denmark: it is tiny, with a population of around 5.46 million. The CIA fact-book says 95 % of the population are nominally Christian and 2 % Muslim (my Christian source-book, 'Operation World', places active Christian adherence much lower, with only 1-4 % regular church attenders, though 50 % say that they pray, and estimates that at least 11 % of Danes are completely nonreligious; it also places the Muslim percentage higher, at around 3 %). The CIA source says the Muslims in Denmark are mostly Turkish, Iranian, and Somali.

The Danes are going to have to find the spiritual and physical courage, fast, now while the numbers are still on their side, to crush all signs of jihad, reject sharia creep, defend freedom of speech, and enforce the rule of Infidel, Western, Danish law in their rich, civilised, beautiful and previously peaceful country.

This is absurd. Unless the police have an especially dry sense of humour, the weather is a weak excuse for the terror that has gripped Denmark as reported in this article. Moreover, if the warm weather had anything to do with terror, and the burning of motorcars, we would see this behavior in regions as far away as South America, Africa, India, and Australia, to name a few places. It is time to call these brigands what they really are...malcontents that should be deported back to their nations of origin. A fitting punishment to the crimes that they committed would be to place these miscreants into motorcars and set them ablaze after packing the cars with plastic explosives and ballberrings. The time for Europe to rise against the tide of Islamification is now. Let Holger Danske out with a victorious roar my Danish friends! Let him out now!
