DNA testing is being conducted. "Bali bomber believed killed in southern Philippines," from Agence France-Presse (thanks to JE):
THE terrorist who built the bombs used in the 2002 Bali atrocities is believed to have been killed in the Philippines, according to local military.The body of a man thought to be Indonesian bomb expert Dulmatin, one of those behind the Bali bombings, was recovered from a shallow grave in the island of Tawi-tawi, said Major General Ben Dolorfino.
"As of now, we are conducting a DNA test to confirm if it is really his body,'' said Maj-Gen Dolorfino, adding that an informant had led them to the grave.
The US government has offered a $10 million bounty for Dulmatin, who has been hiding out in the southern Philippines with local militants for most of the past five years.

But would he really get his virgins? Assuming this is Dulamatin, it would appear he didn't die while fighting for his moon god or he would have made the news. This would be the first time that Allah gave someone other than Mohammed credit for a lifetime of killing. You can die in bed as long as you killed enough people beforehand?
A shallow grave. Maybe he "committed suicide", like Abu Nidal, with a bullet to his brain?

The DNA aspect of this story is troubling. I understand the need in this murky war to understand who's been neutralized, and to map and link the sinister networks that feed nurture and protect Islamic Jihad. But this also drags our war against them into the realm of forensics and law enforcement, and the endless seeking of permission from unqualified judges and lawyers in order to proceed.
The notion underlying this very bad trend is a deep conviction that we, in defending ourselves from a nefarious hydra-headed Muslim enemy, are likely to do more damage to ourselves and our society than these hatred filled Muslims will! It defies rationality. It betrays an utterly fantastic distortion about our nature, and the nature and character of our Islamic enemies.
These distortions guarantee we will suffer grievously, and they also lend our enemy a great strategic advantage over us which the Muslims otherwise would not enjoy.
It is impossible to win the war which the Muslims are waging agaist us in such a manner. Their war is a treacherous assymetric murky and confusing war -- but it is a deliberate and concerted war with definite methods and objectives. What are those objectives? To subvert, subjugate, and ultimately annihilate us. The Islamic Jihad is a total war, and they will not stop until our capacity to resist Islam is crushed. While we file our writs and carefully retrieve fingerprints and place hair samples in baggies, while we ask our overpaid unqualified lawyers and judges for permission to proceed to file more writs and bag more hair, while we prosecute and persecute those who take this war seriously, the Muslims don't hold themselves to any similar restrictions.
Jihad is not some kind of contained and containable quasi-crime. It is a supremacist annihilationist primitive but extremely effective form of total war -- our methods fall fatally below what is required to repel them.

If the 10 million dollars in reward money has not been paid, lets use the reward monet to start an international fund to help finance the security costs of protecting those who dare speak out against Global Jihad ie: Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Kurt Westergaard, Wafa Sultan, Mark Steyn, Michael Savage and yes, Robert Spencer among many others.

I must email the MCB or Abu Bakri or someone with knowledge of these things. I have no doubt there is a Hadith that deals with these issues.

If the body is proven to be Dulmatin, I hope the informant is paid the money and it greatly encourages bounty hunters everywhere to seek out other high value terrorists. In the long run, paying the bounty money would probably be cheaper than funding the military's attempt to hunt them down.

You know I've always wondered, when a terrorist is killed doing his/her terrorist thing when he/she gets to heaven do they get an unlimited supply of virgins? Example, when a man uses up his initial issue of virgins does he get new ones or are the originals ones somehow refurbished. What if some are fat and ugly? Can you trade em? Just wondering
