Hamas: Try to topple us and we'll kill you

A sound basis for a truce!

"Hamas Warns Of Blasts Unless Israel Lifts Sanctions," from AFP (thanks to Sr. Soph):

GAZA CITY (AFP)--A senior advisor to the Hamas-run administration in Gaza on Wednesday warned of "explosions" unless the international community helps to lift the Israeli sanctions on the Palestinian territory.

"If the international community does not move in a serious way to end the siege and the attempt to topple Hamas, then the next explosions, God only knows how large, will take everyone by surprise," Ahmed Yussef said in a statement.

"Hamas has spoken about a truce more than once, but Israel wants to continue its heavy-handed policies of killings, assassinations and incursions," he said. "This condition calls for a response from the resistance."

Well they must be getting fat and happy enough with all jizya the EU, and America has provided for the welfare of the Palestinian People.

"If you don't let us kill you, we'll kill you".

As we've seen many times, jihadis don't really get the concept of threats.

Slightly OT, but heard on radio news last night that oil had passed the $100.00 mark and there were a couple of reasons for this: the key one is threats by OPEC to tighten production. So I see that all of our efforts to help disenfranchised Muslims throughout the world: the PA, Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc has resulted in us being threatened with a tightening of oil supplies by our Saudi Arabian, etc "friends." We keep pumping money and blood and bodies into these bottomless ungrateful hellholes and all we receive in return is hate, murderous attacks, higher prices for oil (their economic lifeline), disgust, threat of nuclear attack, etc. Have the last two World Wars totally sucked out the backbone of the West?

Why not first get the Egyptians to lift their siege of Gaza, and second have Hamas lift its siege of Israel, and THEN Israel can lift its "siege".

OT:

Zacharia Anani has decided to leave the Walid Shoebat Foundation as one of the "3 ex-terrorists."

I talked to him this morning and have the exclusive here:

Yasser Arafat was worth over US $10 billion at the time of his death (he knew how to extort jizya from infidels, too).

HAMAS means what it says. However, when Muslims make threats like this one, they can take a long time to materialize. Islam can work very slowly by OUR perceptions of time. 9-11 for example was nearly a decade in the planning stages before it was finally carried out.

Threats such as this by the Islamic terrorism organization HAMAS(however much we would LOVE to round file both them and the threats they elicit)should not be written off as simply hot air.

When anyone says they are going to kill you, you are better off accepting the threat as real.

"Hamas has spoken about a truce more than once..."
-- from the article above

Yes, it has spoken about a "truce" or hudna. Hamas thinks it is terribly unfair and unjust for Israel to dare to defend itself, and what is still more unacceptable, to defend itself effectively. Now Israel continues, maddeningly, to carefully circumscribe its own efforts with self-imposed Marquess-of-Queensberry rules, including the furnishing of electricity and medicines and other supplies to those who, leaders and led alike, enthusiastically and unembarrassedly declare their desire to wipe out Israel and kill its men, women, and children (and do not merely threaten but repeatedly try to accomplish this, and if those efforts have not been successful it has not been for lack of trying). Murderous hatred is inculcated even in the youngest children in Gaza, and also the "West Bank" where the supposedly very different Slow Jihadists of Fatah continue to rule.

Ordinarily, in a war, one does not supply electricity, food, and medicine to those on the the other side if that other side is still actively fighting against you and what's more, obeys not a single rule of decency and fights without any limit and any distinction between combatants and non-combatants. Traditionally, in all the wars that have ever been fault, those at war make every effort, as long as the other side is still actively fighting (and Hamas's whole reason for being is to destroy Israel), to deny that other side the wherewithal to continue not only to fight, but to lead lives of uninterrupted normality. Normally one attempts to deny the enemy anything and everything that makes them enjoy that normal life -- until they cease to make war on you. Think of what American and British bombers did, out of necessity and the logic of war, and the behavior of the other side, over the skies of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan.

Yet the Hamas people, and the Fatah people, and other Arabs and other Muslims furhter afield, find it unacceptable, find it absolutely incredible, that those upon whom war is made, might actually make war in turn. And Hamas has said it wants a "truce" so that it can gather its strength, lick its wounds, and plot and plan for the next assault. And it is unfair, it is outrageous, for Israel to deny it a time-out. What's wrong with those Israelis? Don't they know about the concept of a "truce"? Haven't they heard that it was good enough for Muhammad, uswa hasana al-insan al-kamil, when he believed he was not yet strong enough to take on the Meccans? Or is that they know all about Muhammad, and his "agreement" with the Meccans, know entirely too much, for they also know how that "truce" ended up, and what effect that Hudaibiyya Agreement of 628 A.D. had on all subsequent treaty-and-agreement making by Muslims with Infidels?

"Hamas: Try to topple us and we'll kill you"

Certainly a risk worth taking.

Bullies. Now the threats are against the international community. I bet they are scared. Send money immediately, remove those sanctions or we will send the 'boogie man', in the form of Iblis with a bomb. I spelled it 'boogie man' because this is another song and dance routine from the boogie masters of Islam. There is no particular reason to dance to their tune, but some people will do it anyway...

If Israel wants peace it must have war.

Hugh don't underestimate the Israelis. These are serious people and know what is at stake. Funnily enough, they are hampered by thier own conformation to western ideals. To deal the death blow to hamas or Fatah would be an abnegation of those ideals and those of Israel. ie mass murder When push comes to shove we & they have to choose.

Funny old world is it not ?

When will the IDF, and every other Infidel military force, get the basic idea: that in our action along the military fronts of the Third Jihad, the moment that the jihadis mention 'truce', the moment they cry 'hudna', should be the signal to keep doing whatever we've been doing, the signal, indeed, to go right back in and hit *harder*?

If you (the Non-Muslim) are dealing with an enemy that is brought up on 'slay or be slain', 'dominate or be dominated', that has no concept of compromise, whose guiding military/ diplomatic principle is the total opposite of pacta sunt servanda - they do not have to keep agreements made with Unbelievers like you; an enemy that will only ever make a [fake, temporary] agreement when they feel weak/ened, as a sort of timeout in order to get you to stop hitting them so they can secretly regroup and rearm with the full intention of attacking you again, treacherously, the moment they feel able - then there's nothing else for it: you have to ignore their squeals and keep on hitting till their forces totally disintegrate.

Keep hitting Hamas, Israel. You are not dealing with opponents who have any concept of permanent oath-keeping, covenant, but opponents whose capricious and tyrannical god, 'allah', is praised as 'the best of schemers', people whose own word is, therefore, writ in water or in sand, whose capacity for self-deceit, and for the deception of others, especially of the despised Infidels, appears in practice to be virtually infinite.

Keep hitting. You are dealing with a regime, an entity, that does not literally throw kids into the maw of Moloch, but is bringing them up on genocidal hatred and contempt for Non-Muslims, especially Jews, any Jews, anywhere; they dream of a worldwide theocratic gulag tyrannised over by thugs like themselves; who honour destruction above creation, death over life.

If you don't want all Israel devoured and turned into Gaza: keep hitting.

Keep hitting. And Olmert: quit tying the hands of the IDF. You have one of the best citizen armies in the world. Let them do what they're trained to do!

Gaza, a self imposed embargo. It must be the first of its kind in known Military History. Just about every day they say or declare an increase to it.

We are still waiting for the number of Hamas Rockets that equals the 1% reduction in Electricity.

Yeah - 'lift sanctions so we can kill you in more comfort suitable to muslims - you infidel! How dare you make us uncomfortable while we lob bombs at you!!'.

Hamas warns: to think, George W, et al, believes that this snake-pit of mass-murderers will one day become a sovereign state. More threats of violence, the gimme, gimme psycho-wank*** are, as always, in lock ‘n’ load mode. When in the name of God are Bush and other spineless leaders of the West going to see the writing on the wall? Purely rhetorical: Never.

From Strategypage.com

"February 18, 2008: Israel has declared war on the Hamas leadership, and given the security services permission to do whatever they can to wipe out the Hamas officials involved in attacks on Israel. In (unofficial) cooperation with Fatah, which has the support of half, or more, of the Gaza population, Israel hopes to destroy Hamas in a few months. Fatah publicly condemns Israeli attacks on Hamas, but privately takes advantage of it by taking control of more neighborhoods in Gaza." In the last two weeks over a dozen Hamas leaders have been killed.

If Hamas kills it will be killed.

Every "explosion" unleashed by Hamas will be answered tenfold. The people who support Hamas will die a glorious (in their eyes, anyway) death and fight over the limited supply of virgins.

When will we make that clear? More to the point, why are we afraid to send that message? Self-defense is not "against our principles".

DO WHAT WE SAY OR ELSE!

NO.

Posted by: DaveMate [TypeKey Profile Page] at February 20, 2008 4:49 PM

It's about time the west started the targeted assassination of our enemies, especially when they brazenly proclaim themselves to be our enemies.
We should have done for the Iran's leadership, all the clerics, when they threatened to kill Salman Rushdie, but we'd rather lay back and take it.
If we're weak, we will be overcome, it's a cold hard world.

Posted by: Ian [TypeKey Profile Page] at February 20, 2008 6:13 PM

So this guys "warned" of explosions....

"Warned"? I'm sorry but terrorist organisations really don't give any warnings before they attack. They never do. Hence the whole scare & "terror" tactics. Unlike the IDF who forewarned Southern Lebanon by dropping thousands of leaflets there before going to crush Hezbollah.

I say the more these maniacs keep complaining, they more we should hit them. Then they won't have anything to complain about and they'll realise that they have to blame themselves at some point for getting themselves in this situation.

Tough love, bullets, grenades and artillery fire should do the trick. Unfortunately this is the only language they understand. Let them cop this language.
