Of course, the school didn't teach "race hate" at all, but rather religious hate: "Jews" and "Christians" are not racial groups any more than "Muslims" is. But the British legal system cannot conceptualize such a thing.
And even more importantly, the British cannot dare to conceive of the possibility that this problem is deeper than just a matter of a few textbooks. The source of the identification of Jews and Christians with apes and pigs is the Qur'an itself:
Say: "O people of the Book! Do ye disapprove of us for no other reason than that we believe in Allah, and the revelation that hath come to us and that which came before (us), and (perhaps) that most of you are rebellious and disobedient?" Say: "Shall I point out to you something much worse than this, (as judged) by the treatment it received from Allah? Those who incurred the curse of Allah and His wrath, those of whom some He transformed into apes and swine, those who worshipped evil; these are (many times) worse in rank, and far more astray from the even path!" (5:59-60)
The implication of this is that the People of the Book -- Jews and Christians -- by rejecting Muhammad, are risking the same kind of bestial transformation.

A prestigious Islamic school in London was forced to shred 2,000 textbooks used to poison pupils' minds with lessons of hate, a former teacher claimed yesterday.Colin Cook, who taught English at the King Fahad Academy for 18 years, told a tribunal how "incompetent" Ofsted inspectors reported that the school's teaching of Islamic studies was "mostly good".
But their report was wildly inaccurate, he said, because pupils as young as five were being taught by rote from Arabic textbooks describing Jews as "monkeys" and Christians as "pigs".
Mr Cook said that when he exposed the racist teaching, the school's head Dr Sumaya Alyusuf lied on television, insisting that hateful passages had never been taught.
Under public pressure the Academy eventually agreed to destroy 2,000 books but photocopied them first for future use, he told the tribunal.
The school, in Acton, West London, opened in 1985 for the children of Saudi diplomats and is funded and controlled by the Saudi government.
Its 1,250 pupils have included the five children of jailed claw-handed cleric Abu Hamza and those of Abu Qatada, who was said to be Osama Bin Laden's right-hand man in Europe....

Note: "race hate". Sorry, Daily Mail, but this is religious hate. It's right there in the Qur'an. Could someone on your staff read the Qur'an? No, no, not the "Asian" staff.

What "Dr." (presumably of Islamic Sciences) Alyusuf says so slyly -- so slyly that one might miss it -- is in a sense, partly true. Contempt, rather than hatred, is inculcated for the inferior, inaccurate, imperfect, versions of Islam that the "Peoples of the Book" -- ahl al-kitab -- continue to believe in, that is the faiths of Judaism and Christianity.
But notice what Alyusuf did not say. She did not deny -- she did not dare to go that far -- that the texts in her school teach hatred for Jews and Christians, the "Unbelievers" who are to be smited, that is killed, or converted, or at best, to be allowed to live, in a state of humiliation, degradation, and permanent physical insecurity. The name for that status of humiliation, degradation, and permanent physical insecurity is "dhimmi," and "dhimmis" were always subject to the whims of their Muslim overlords, who at any moment may choose to discover or believe that the behavior, rumored or real, of one Jew or one Christian, ends the "protected status" of the whole community.
To sum up Alyusuf's studied deception, that comes so naturally to her:
Stated on the Infidel television: we do not teach "hatred" of Judaism and Christianity
Unstated: [we do teach hatred of Christians and Jews and all other non-Muslims who refuse to submit to Islam].
Pay attention to what is stated, when listening to Muslim spokesmen and apologists, and also to what is unstated.

I saw the video and that woman just would not admit to anything. She wouldn't say how the Arabic should have been translated. And I think she was full of... pig dung.
muslims say the same thing about the koran - the koran that was translated by Arabs themselves. If we figure out their 'religion' they tell us that one has to read it in ARabic to understand it - that we misinterpret it. I say hogwash to that too.
The woman was caught and she was just practicing taqiyya/kithman. She wanted to muddy the waters, have us stop pestering her and let her go back to teaching her little muslims to hate non-muslims.
And they don't have a clue - we don't kill or riot in the streets over that and worse that they do to us. But, I guess in their minds that means we know our place - to not bother the muslim while they work on killing or subduing us. Us lowly infidels - us pigs and monkeys.

In the UK mass hysteria about racism persists unabated. So a headline which mentions racial hatred attracts the attention more than one which refers to religious hatred.
Because of the media's and the establishment's obsession with racism, Muslims who feel they have been criticised or insulted can simply mention the "R" word and the state's legal machinery whirrs into action on their behalf. It's rare that Muslims find themselves on the receiving end of racism accusations.
I doubt that the UK is uniquely affected in this way. I read on an American blog that in the USA a racist would be deemed a worse criminal than an ex-terrorist.

obviously the book was to be never seen by the sons of pigs and monkeys, and it appeared to be okay for the Muslims to use kitman the headmaster can say that she's shreaded the books and not mention thephotocopies to use to teach the religious hatred that the waobbyists in Saudi Arabia seem to want to be taught to students

The use of the word race to describe differences in people other than biological differences has always irked me. I have read here many times that Robert and Hugh are also bothered by it.
However, race is used to describe differences in ethnicity, culture and almost any group differences. This usage is especially common in the UK proving again that Americans and British are two peoples divided by a common language.
Any dictionary I pick up includes this broad definition even including exampes such as "the race of dramatists, " or the "female race."

It could just be pedantic sub-editing by the Mail. To get around legal difficulties, Jews are designated as a race in UK law (as are Sikhs, for the same reason). So, technically, at least, the paper's headline could be seen as correct.
However, it's something that I strongly disagree with. Introduced as an addendum to the Race Relations Act 1976 (which didn't cover Jews), to help legally combat anti-Semitism, defining Jews as a race gives credence to the theories of Hitler and Julius Streicher and others like them. Type Jews and Race into a search engine and see what you get.

Why do you need a muslim school when a regular public school teaches islam?
During the ancient civilization studies at my son's school they were supposed to talk about ancient Egypt. The assignment was to read about ancient Egypt and come back to tell the story next day.
One of the muslim girls brought with her koran and a prayer rug and proceede to say that Egyptians are muslim and how they prayed etc.
The teacher (global warming type of lefty) encouraged the speech.
This is happening in today's Canada, I am not making that up.

Right. Probably the only thing that's worse than a racist is a child molester. Hypocrite is another one, but it doesn't even approach the other two. Mass murderers get more favorable treatment than all of the above.

I can hear the logic now...
...they must object to the way the book is bound
...perhaps it is too glossy
...the books are too heavy
...the pointed corners could cause someone harm
It's like a child when told to clean their plate merely places the food onto the table and claims they did what they were asked.
That they think people are as stupid is a good thing. It will come in handy.

Why was this guy, Colin Cook, working at this place for 18 YEARS and he suddenly comes out with this stuff? Why didn't their curriculum bother him until now?
I don't doubt that their textbooks do promote Islamic supremacism since these textbooks are standard in Saudi Arabia and there was a Saudi funded school in the Washington DC area that was accused of using these same kind of books a few years ago:

What was it that finally caused Cook to come forward? Was it some personal grievance or did he suddenly have an epiphany regarding the nature of Islam? There is more to this story.

There are a couple of points to consider about this school.
1/ We are told by the duplicitous saudis that people like abu hamza and abu quatada are not true moslems and their islam is really not the true "tolerant and peaceful" islam.
So why then are their children allowed to study there ?
Who is paying their fees ? Do they pay any or do the saudis pay ?
2/ Why did Colin Cook not complain when he was actually there, I have heard he is a convert, is this true ?
This is the school which this SoB' kids attended and where he was approached by a saudi diplomat.

The truth is this government and the next is to scared to stand up to the saudis for fear of losing business and jobs. Thats fare enough to a certain extent.
Why do we not have politicians with the brains to extend trade and relations with non moslem countries that pose no threat to us and have no maleavolent intent such as South America, India, SE Asia, Sub Saharan Africa.
We need to ditch the saudis.

Gordon Brown might be the biggest criminal in the UK but not here in the colonies. From this side of the pond he looks like one huge nincompoop, competing with our prez for dhimmi of the year award. Prime Minister's Questions are jaw-dropping at times.
Hypocrisy or child molestation get you more grief on this side of the pond. Political correctness gets you a gold star. An ex-terrorist? He'd write a book and make a million bucks a year. A suspected racist would be banned forever from polite society, unless his name is Robert Byrd.

Excuse me? Are you saying that I’m not a member of the Jewish race? Jews are no more of a race than Christians and Muslims? My DNA begs to differ. I hope I misunderstood you Robert. Unlike Christianity and Islam, “Jewishness” is passed down from the mother’s side of the family. We even have a few birth defects which are racial. Judaism is a race, nationality, and culture. That is not to say we all personally acknowledge the many facets of being a Jew, but that doesn’t change the fact that being Jewish is literally in most of our blood.

Yes, we are a nation and a culture. But a race? No.
Yes, there is something distinctly Jewish, even DNA, but race means color, and Jews come in all colors and sizes. No. A race we are not.
The Japanese are a race. Chinese are a race. Indians are a race. Caucasians are a race. There are even 50,000 Japanese Jews, and don't take my word for it: they don't look Jewish. No, the race-thing just confuses the issue.
