Hamas using US weapons against Israel

Fantasy-Based Policymaking does have a downside.

"'Hamas using US weapons against IDF,'" by Khaled Abu Toameh for the Jerusalem Post (thanks to Bryan):

..."At least 2,000 Hamas gunmen have been deployed in the northern Gaza Strip to take part in the fighting," the sources told The Jerusalem Post.

The sources estimated that Izaddin Kassam has at least 15,000 members divided into four brigades in the Gaza Strip.

They added that the Hamas gunmen were using many American-made arms seized from the Fatah-controlled Palestinian Authority security forces in June.

Hamas says it captured thousands of M-16 and Kalashnikov rifles, and large supplies of ammunition during its weeklong conquest of Gaza. Hamas is also believed to have acquired weapons capable of penetrating armor and stockpiles of rocket-propelled grenades....

So glad to see my taxdollar, via foreign aid, go to such a worthwhile cause - the continued attempt to destroy the only true democracy in the Middle East.

Thousands of automatic rifles, large supplies of ammunition, stockpiles of rocket propelled grenades, armour piercing weapons...

Along with the instruction manual, The Qur'an, to explain in detail, why and how to use it all.

There is nothing in the US constitution that calls for 'foreign aid'. What makes the US unique is that the people themselves are the sovereigns, the owners of the country. Politicians are just representatives. The 'national wealth', is created by the creativity, and sweat of the owners. It does not belong to the 'representatives'. By giving away huge amounts to the undeserving, and equally huge amounts for military ventures, our national wealth is weakened. Our country is weakened. Our economy is threatened, you get to work harder and longer for less, your sovereignty is eroding. It is only a question of who will enslave you first, Globalists, or Islam? The US citizens need to wrench the money weapon out of the hands of any take over artists, like Bush, and all his pals. I don't know if any candidate would support that, seeing as they all use the money weapon now, and probably won't give it up easily. But citizens can demand that only Constitutionally approved expenditures of the 'peoples money', would be made. No more dept of this or that, and no more foreign aid to buy despots...

Israel should lob one missile for every incoming missile with the same accuracy as the Hamas ones.

Everyone on Jihadwatch that was paying attention knew without question that this was an inevitable result of the the US Governments actions in trying to arm Abbas's Fatah.

I'm sorry, but what pitiful ridiculous fools we have in the State department, congress, and the Whitehouse. And yet the ignorant hypocrites that we are, we still continue to prosecute people in this country for doing the exact same thing.

Why does our government continus to support terrorism while condeming it and fighting it at the same time?

How does one stop such lunacy?

G.W. Bush--appears to be mentally challenged for arming any faction of Arabs barking along the outlines of Israel, even if the leader of the "Fatah-controlled Palestinian Authority security forces" wears a suit and looks "civilized."

Condoleeza Rice is Bush's stooge--that is, she does not do anything that is not condoned by Bush.

Now, the idea was to arm the "Palestinian Authority security forces" so as to keep order within the seething Arab masses occupying Israeli territory. This ploy has been touted before--by Bush and his predecessor(s)--and it has never resulted in anything except armed gangs of "officially sanctioned" Arabs fighting for control of the lucrative PA coffers and of course using the arms to kill Israeli Jews.

Hamas emerged when another idiotic idea of G.W. Bush's--"democracy, one-person-one vote"--became a reality in the Arab-occupied Israeli territories.

Bush appears to be "a few sandwiches short of a picnic" (I got that from a chimpanzee show on TV; it fits Bush's actions) but is actually carrying out the bidding of the Saudis who control so much--far too much--in our government.

The simple-minded idea of what makes "democracy" that Bush tried out in Iraq with results that should have been expected and then tried out again in the Arab-occupied Israeli territories with similar to-be-expected results appears to be the product of his own thought processes, with perhaps input from the "Arabs are just like us African-Americans were before we got our civil rights in the 60s" also apparently sandwich-shy Condoleeza Rice.

It is so simple, a troglodyte could come the conclusion: If you arm the Arabs squatting on Israeli territory for any reason, they will turn those weapons against Israel. They do not want peace with Israel, but want to see it gone and turned into a Moslem-Arab "Palestine."

Of course, they, Hamas, are using American weaponry. Let’s face it, the inane and inept are running the show; undoubtedly, this change in the near or distant future. It will, undoubtedly, worsen. Good post, Swami!

My message to Israel: Don’t trust us Americans too much, for we are enchanted by a magical Arabian genie. Our state dept should just call it Israeli land for Arabian oil…

AK's and a few thousand rounds of ammo.

JW article title....

"Hamas using *US* weapons against Israel"

I know a lot of ppl today don't believe in God, but [i do!]....

Psalms 53:1
¶> The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
3 Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.

In this world, everyone 'accommodates' evil today.
Yet nobody see's this as having an effect upon our circumstances.

Look at this world, 2008.

Something is very, very, wrong here.
Today in this world, we are told that, black is white, and white is black.
Up is down, and down is up.
TRUTH is 'hate'.
And hate, is 'TRUTH'.

ISLAM......a false religion, for a false people.

The US administration has been in dhimmitude to the Saudis for a long time. It is quite striking, that in almost all conflicts between Muslims and any others, the US has sided with Muslims.

The strangest case is that of Kosovo. The US, in brazen disregard of the UN charter, attacked Serbia to support Albanian Muslims separatists, which it had forearmed and primed.

Now, it has recognised Kosovo as independent, after it had given an undertaking in a subsequent UNSC resolution, that Kosovo was part of Serbia.

Yes indeed, Israel needs to be very careful in its relationship with the USA.

Well said DP111. Has anyone started a pool for how long it will be before the Kosovos will be wanting more of what's left of Serbia? I'd like to buy the square that say June 30 2008 latest.

And the 'war-on-terror' is a phony, self-defeating war. Just look at dubya's allies: Saudi Arabia (who funded most of dubya's busienesses) and Pakistan (who beheaded Daniel Pearl). Which side of terror was this war being faught on? You get the picture.

Posted by: Alert [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 4, 2008 12:18 AM

This may not be as bad as it looks given the rather meticulous care one must give an M16 to keep it shooting. I don't picture "Hamas" and "meticulous care" going together.

Question: How to neuter Islam ...?

Answer: Render the validity of the Qu'ran bogus.
