Remember: Fatah is the moderate group, that sincerely wants peace with Israel. Fatah wants peace, this I know, for George and Condi tell me so. And remember: Islam is a religion of peace -- George and Condi told us that also, and no number of stories like this will ever convince them otherwise. Celebrate a mass murderer as a martyr? Never! What are you, some kind of Islamophobe?
Nor is this a partisan matter either, of course. Everyone, just everyone, knows Islam is a religion of peace. Except, unfortunately, the glorious mujahedin and their allies who celebrate their heroic deeds in gunning down high school students.
"PA Daily: Mass Murderer is a Martyr," by Gil Ronen for Israel National News (thanks to Sr. Soph):
(IsraelNN.com) Mahmoud Abbas's official Palestinian Authority daily newspaper has honored the terrorist who gunned down eight high school students at point blank range with the status of shahid, or holy Islamic martyr. The official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida prominently placed a picture of the point-blank child killer on the front page, with the caption, "The Shahid Alaa Abu Dheim." In a page one article on the massacre at the Mercaz HaRav Kook yeshiva, his crime was again defined as an act of martyrdom (shahada).
Watchdog group Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) said that in publishing the article, "the PA is sending its people a straightforward message of support for the terror murders and the murderer." According to the PA's interpretation of Islam, PMW explained, a human being can achieve no higher status than that of shahid.
Will it cost them?
Besides its effect in inciting and encouraging terror, the honoring of terrorists by the PA has significant financial ramifications, PMW explained. Last week the US Administration sent a request to Congress to allocate $150 million to the Palestinian Authority. However, in response to earlier PMW reports on the widespread PA practice of honoring terror, Congress made it illegal for the US to give money to entities that "advocate" terror, as follows:
"[The Secretary of State] shall terminate assistance to any individual, entity... which she has determined to be involved in or advocating terrorist activity." Congress further legislated that "none of the [U.S.] ... assistance under the West Bank and Gaza Program may be made available for the purpose of recognizing or otherwise honoring individuals who commit, or have committed acts of terrorism" (2008 Foreign Operations Bill).
What do you bet that nothing happens to halt this money flow?

The "honoring" of this killer is anti-climactic. Who didn't expect it?
Any attempt to dictate how money can be used is pointless. All they do is use US money for other purposes. It's nothing but an accounting exercise, like giving money "only" to the peaceful Hamas entities. Don't Hamas and Hezbollah run their own charities unrelated to terrorism? Anyone who finances those charities is supporting the terrorist side as well because every dollar you give them is a dollar they don't have to find elsewhere.
The only answer is to cut off funds. We can't pick and choose which pieces of the PA to support. It's one entity.

The only sense in which I can see him as a martyr is for having foolishly sacrificed himself on the hollow, bloodthirsty altar of Islam, to the false, bloodthirsty "god", Allah. May he be tortured in Hell forever. Amen.
The yeshiva students were sacrificed on the altar of dhimmitude by the rest of the world, which will watch on, require nothing to be done, continue to cut the jizya checks, and somehow blame Israel for it happening.

I wish they would all "martyr" themselves at the same time.. that way they can all join illah at one time.. and they won't have to worry about us "infidels" anymore..
Sounds like a good deal for both sides, doesn't it?

Why does every American administration allow themselves to be prostituted by the Palestinians in the name of peace? History has shown time and time again that the Palestinians have no desire for anything other than their supremist agenda. There are no moderates in the Palestinian ranks, witness this tragedy. Enough is enough, time to force the issue! Cut off all aid and let them know we can not influence Israel for much longer.

PMK, you wrote: 'The "honoring" of this killer is anti-climactic. Who didn't expect it?'
George W. Bush tells us that arch-terrorist, Mahmoud Abbas is a man dedicated to peace. Bush insists, Islam is peace.
Do you believe Mr. Bush? Do you expect this from your president?

'Hollow government must be replaced'
By MATTHEW WAGNER
Rabbi Ya'acov Shapira, head of the Mercaz Harav Yeshiva in Jerusalem, made a decidedly militant speech on Sunday evening calling to replace the government and to continue building in all parts of the Land of Israel.
People attend the eulogies of the slain students on Friday.
"The blood of our brothers shouts to us from this land," Shapira said at a press conference in the library where many of the yeshiva students were wounded or killed on Thursday. The pockmarked floors evidenced where terrorist Ala Abu Dhaim "confirmed his kills" by shooting already-wounded victims in the head, and the bullet holes in the walls and bookshelves were clearly visible.....

Back in 1989 a Musloim named Gamil Gharbi went on a Jihad to be with Muhammad in paradise , he hated Canada because we alllow females to go to school and inturn take jobs away from Muslim men who should have the wives saty at home and make more babies for Allah.
There were all the signs of a looney-toon nut bar because of his violent immigrant father that was devoted to Shariah law and beat his wife right in front of gamil to show him how to deal with females that offend Allah , so on the December 6th day of 1989 he gathered up all the final piece from his plans and headed to his School while knowing exactly which 20 female students he wanted to murder .
He managed to smuggle in his weapon in a package that looked like a carry case for Engineering items or drafting equipment , with his rifle fully loaded with a magazine and extra clips he entered a classroom and ordered the male students to leave or face being shot with the female students , and of course the non-violent passive males left the room so the females could be murdered more easily .
But when the Media jumped on top of the mass murder they didn't have the guts to report the killer as a Muslim on a Jihad as written in his suicide letter that blamed Canada and females for all his shortcomings , the femiNazis saw another chance to bash all men and get more grants from the Government for the anti-violence campaign that may have caused the male students to allow the killer to slaughter the students .
Canada brought in a gun registry which has cost close to $2 billion dollars and did nothing to stop the handgun murders because the registry was for Long-guns ( rifles) and not handguns.
In 1999 , ten years after the slaughter of 14 females students and wounding of about 8 others along with the trauma it was a lone Reporter that dared to print the truth that this Gamil Gharbi with a Algerian father and pro-Shria home was in fact the killer and not the the Typical white male named Marc Lepine .
Gamil change his name to blend in at school and used his mothers maiden name since she was french in her origins , even after the suicide note was leaked out the MSM stuck with the angry-male story and still to this day very few people in the Canadian media will mention the "M" word or hint at a Jihad .
Today in Canada there are 16 million males that must wear the murders by this Muslim Jihadists who took orders from Allah and Muhammad , there is a whole industry that feeds on male-bashing to get grants for a unproven fear for any male they see on the street.
Thanks a lot islam.

monk,
I stopped expecting anything from Mr. Bush early in 2004.
I shake my head every time he or his underlings spout their "religion of peace" nonsense.
It has nothing to do with what I said about this "martyr". Who didn't expect him to be honored by the Islamists?
What President Bush says about Abbas isn't the point, either. Who didn't expect Islamists to praise this killer?

The question is addressed to PMK, but after watching daddy Bush using American armed forces to dhield his wahhabbi friends in Riyadh (Gulf War I), after Bandar-Bin-Sultan was conveniently "adopted" as "Bandar Bush" and after Saudi petro-dollars funding Bush Jr.'s failed businesses (e.g. Arbusto), why are Americans surprised? If Americans are serious about stopping Islamists, they have to clean their (White) House first, starting with impeaching every sell-out politician, even if it means impeaching the president/commander-in-chief. Why the White House? Because, "Fish starts to rot in the head first".

I would think that any american statesman or president realizes that the Palestinians do not want peace, the president recieves much better intelligence about such facts or should.
I think that the movers and shakers know the palestinians do not want peace, yet they for their own reasons choose to attempt to keep selling the delusion.

Alert,
The American people have to decide what they want. We missed yet another opportunity this year. We're set to elect someone who will: commit American soldiers in virtual perpetuity to the Middle East, commit American wealth to Muslim countries in an effort to prove we're not at war with Islam, or both. Assume that one of the three senators still running will be inaugurated in January. All are prepared to do what is necessary to make the world like us, even if it destroys this country. What's the point of impeachment? It won't accomplish a thing.
Until we Americans decide that our culture and our survival are more important than being loved then we will continue on our downward spiral.
We can blame the politicians all we like but we're the ones who have to let go of our own political correctness. Why was that woman fired for calling Hillary Clinton a "monster"? Hillary is a big girl. Can't she take it?
Too many Americans are saying electing Obama "would send a message to the rest of the world". That's nonsense!
Impeachment shouldn't be our weapon of choice. The vote should be. If we're so offended by what these people are doing then we shouldn't vote for them. But we do. Every other year.
In this year's primaries we had other choices besides these three. We had people who could be trusted and who were prepared to defend us. They weren't politically palpable. That's our fault, not theirs.
In November we'll have other choices. There will be many parties offering candidates for president. If we wanted to, we could choose someone else. We could vote out incumbents. We could vote out Democrats and Republicans. The ball is in our court.

Last Wednesday, Bush announced that he would accept foreign contributions for his Presidential Library. The Saudis will jump; after all, he removed half of the Secular states from the Middle East, and he contributed to clericizing Syria.

Don't you love Abbas's weasly statement when the news of this first came out?
"The Palestinian Authority condemns any attack on innocent civilians," Abbas' office said in a written statement.
This was what was reported by CNN at
http://edition.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/meast/03/06/mideast/index.html
The problem is, he didn't also say whether those killed counted as innocent.

No independent or Ron Paul can win! You are correct in regards to the PC insanity. Somehow we have lost sight of the cornerstone in democracy, namely majority rule. Without defending this tenet of freedom we will be reduced to a socialistic society at best, or a fascist encampment where the most extreme make the rules!

he sure does. as does his alter-ego/prophet (for profit, and for all the females he could get--any way he could)
the hiding of moslem names and identity by the press is a conspiracy of "journalists" (to use the term loosely) in all the Moslem-sucking and placating, longing-to-be-dhimmified, left- and -anything-for-peace-dominated lands of the at-present civilized, but longing to be barbarian, Islam-designated "world of war".

The vast majority of Americans want to secure our border with Mexico and enforce immigration laws. Most Europeans don't want to surrender their freedom to a bureacratic superstate. Neither of these seems to matter very much. Is democracy dying?

PMK,
You said, "In November we'll have other choices. There will be many parties offering candidates for president. If we wanted to, we could choose someone else. We could vote out incumbents. We could vote out Democrats and Republicans. The ball is in our court."
Unless a new leader stands up and says, "I am the man to lead you out of the morass," we would piss away our votes writing in this name or that, voting for the perennial we-don't-stand-a-chance parties (you know their names) or worse-yet voting for such a one as Nader.

"I am the self-financed billionaire to lead you out of the morass..."

The US should immediately yank the aid that the PA receives. The inexcusable murders and the praise of the cowardly dog of an Arab who committed such a crime by an official "govt" publication is a crime of terror in itself.
The US has an entire political party now which tends to overlook terrorists and the election of a Democrat will mean more acts against America and its allies will burgeon if a Dem is elected.
In the meantime, the weak and feckless GWB should forget about his "peace" overture and realize nothing is going move the suicidal Palestinians except more suppression. Violence and murder can't be allowed to pass unpunished.
This would never have happened had fatuous naive Condi Rice not worked to get Hamas included in the '06 election. No good deed goes unpunished for the roaches in the Gaza bottle.

unicorns62000 and dmann,
The "perennial we-don't-stand-a-chance parties" can win if we vote for them. Jesse Ventura won in Minnesota. Who ever expected a wrestler to be elected governor?
I wouldn't write in a name but I would look for someone else already on the ballot. It's how I found the Constitution Party. Who says you have to vote for a Democrat or a Republican? At this point in time any vote for one of them is a wasted vote anyway. Neither will give you what you want.
We all make our own choices. We can defeat ourselves or we can take our country back. As long as we believe only a Democrat or Republican can or should be elected, that's what we'll get. Not only that, it magnifies the "mandate" the winner claims. As long as the two parties know they are the only game in town, they have less reason to listen to us. They can divvy up the country to keep both parties happy. Watch the redistricting after 2010.
At this point in my life I would be "pissing away my vote" by voting for a candidate I cannot support. The "lesser of two evils" isn't good enough, anymore. McCain, Clinton or McCain, Obama. I no longer see a difference. They're three peas in the same pod.
Keep thinking no independent can win and that's what you'll get. It's self-fulfilling.

We need to wake up to the fact that these people have been brainwashed for 1400 years. They will never understand logic and kindness. Empathy is as alien to them as it was to mohammed when he wrote in his koranic fiction that raping women is perfectly acceptable, that murdering in the name of mohammed (although he CLAIMS it was god) is perfectly acceptable. We must take a strong hand with islamic countries. Sadly our politicians are too cowardly to realise this, as they were when Hitler was murdering HIS way across the world.
