"nobody has granted you victory"

Nonetheless, I can't help but be optimistic when I get emails like this:

You attack Islaam and Prophet Muhammad may peace be upon him you show him with a bomb on his head but he never bombed any bobdy if we showed Ronald Reagan with a bomb on his head or better yet George W Bush is that free speech you will not prevail we will Love Islaam and Our Prophet Muhammad you can not stop his fame even though he died fourteenhundred years ago you still talk about him the books you show are trash they have know fact or truth to them why dont you have a real debate with some Anerican Muslims who speak english and we will see who would win Allah has already granted Muhammad and Muslims who follow him victory nobody has granted you victory you are lopsided bias and you want to talk about terroism what about Ameircans Terrosim on Japan we droped a Nuclear bomb but thats not terrorism we kill people in Iraq you rape woman and children for freedom you can keep your freedom.

Good, thanks. I will keep my freedom indeed. And of course, as always, I'd be glad to debate any "Anerican Muslims," but they appear to prefer to indulge in ad hominem smears from a distance rather than engage my actual arguments up close.

I'm always amazed by the sheer and utter stupidity of the Mohammedan hate e-mails that RS gets!

No wonder the West is superior. Far, far superior.
Eat your heart out, ya dumb brainwashed Mohammedan.

Furthermore, it must really be a bitter pill for them to swallow that the Infidels invented the Internet! And everything else besides.

They're like parasites on a host. Always taking, taking, taking -never giving.

Uh Huh. Hitler is famous, too.

Ya gotta love the argumentative powers of the Misologists (one who hates reason, logic, argument, even speech)!

Robert, At least hate mail can be entertaining once and a while. Though I know the sidebar is full, maybe you could start posting "the best messages of peace" at one convenient location?

Seeing all that hate in one place towards you may show that such letters are not uncommon and what nonsense you have to deal with.

The lack of historical knowledge almost amazes me. People talk about the A-bombs as if Japan was just minding its own business and the evil U.S. gaijin decided to drop the bombs on them for no reason. WELL, THAT AINT THE WAY IT HAPPENED! Japan had been attacking China since 1937, and featured such atrocities as the Rape of Nanking. It was for this reason that the U.S. cut off supplies such as oil to Japan. That is what "antagonized" them into attacking Pearl Harbor in 1941 (anybody still remember that?). Then the Japanese declared war after the attack, did we force them to do that as well. And as far as knowing about the attack ahead of time, an attack was suspected, but not what kind. "Experts" predicted one by submarines or sabotage, not by air (Sorry,Pearl Harbor Truthers). Once the war in the Pacific commenced, Japanese prison camps rivaled the Nazis in brutality, and even included beheadings (sound familiar). Certainly much worse than can be said about Club Gitmo. And contrary to revisionist belief, Japan was not ready to surrender as long as the Emperor was protected. That was the view of a few pragmatic politicians. The vast majority of the government and populace were ready to fight to the end, and were arming themselves for such. Estimates run that an invasion would have cost anywhere from to 10 million Japanese lives, and extended the war by several years. After after the bombs, some Army officers tried to stop the Emperor from making the surrender announcment. And their still finding old Japanese soldiers hinding in the jungles of isolated islands, who refused to surrender. These are not the peace loving people that Western bleeding hearts want to believe they are. The United States and its people have been sentenced to death for being accused of doing alot less than what the WW2 Japanese actually did. Find a better comparison if you can.

The stream-of-consciousness worked for Molly Bloom.

Here, I'm not so sure.

The "a-bomb" excuses of the islamosupremacists ignores historical fact of brutal, genocidal atrocities committed by the Japanese against hundreds of thousands of humans for a period of about 50 years -and ending- almost exactly at the moment of Hiroshima-Nagasaki A-bombings (btw islamofascists - it was atomic -not nuclear bombs dropped).

Why does the islamosupremacist continually and casually ignore mass murders/genocide/enslavement/rape/pillage by their (than) fascit-heroes. Perhaps a not-so subconscious desire on the part of the islamics, to emulate the Japanese atrocities? One example- the historically documented "Rape of Nanking" conducted by then genocidal hate mongering, rape-pillaging, blood-lusting Japanese of the past (not to be confused with modern peace-loving and humane Japanese - who did see the light -literally- and changed their ways) - in which the heroes of the current fascists-muslims- murdered 200,000 innocent civilians and prisoners of war in 6 weeks time (for the islamofascists - that would be considered a slow-motion a-bomb - one of which killed 70,000 persons at once at Hiroshima and Nagasaki about the same amount; meaning to the muslim - 140,000 total and still less than the numbers murdered by the fascists forces of imperial Japan in one incident alone.
There is much much more about crimes committed against humanity by fascists of Japan - but as the muslim seems only to fixate on mass-death of one or two events - the above should suffice to illustrate the -as usual- bogus, irrational, examples - or perhaps what the islamosupremcists really desire and what is really driving the rabid mind is parity in committing acts of mass genocide...?

Posted by: TINBH [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 15, 2008 10:27 AM

We also talk about Adam and Eve, Abraham, Moses and Jesus Christ, all of whom lived centuries or millenia before the mass murderer from Arabia whom you claim to revere. So what's your point?

We can keep our freedom? Then I hope you will do yourself the favor of not trying to take it away from us. You'll fail, as you have obviously failed at much in your life.

If we can keep our freedom, then I hope you will not complain when we "work with dictators" who rule in Muslim lands. You don't want freedom, so why do you care? Come to think of it, why would any Muslim anywhere in the world complain about dictatorships? Islam is a religion based on slavery and Muslims are the slaves.

any bobdy

All he needed was one more "o" (before the "d") and I'd have thought he was creating a new song.

Posted by: PMK [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 15, 2008 10:29 AM

it was atomic -not nuclear bombs dropped

TINBH,
My dictionary considers the two to be synonymous. A "nuclear power" possesses atomic weapons.

Posted by: PMK [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 15, 2008 10:37 AM

in the past - in the specialists' world "atomic weapon" was distinguished from "nuclear weapon" by the relative amounts/capability of the destructive power; "atomic" (at one time was) considered to be less than "nuclear" (or perhaps if one likes - "thermo-nuclear")

thankfully such (nuclear-level wepaons) were not used (as these did not exist at the time) to end the Pacific-area war - as if they had been - the loss of life would have been much greater (bad enough as it was via atomic -vice- nuclear weapons)

hopefully nuclear weapons will never have to be used against any human beings anywhere - "tactical nukes (atomic weapon scale)" on the other hand should remain a last-resort battle-field option

I can just imagine our very intense poster typing away, breathless.

I can't figure out if the poster is, or isn't, an American, given the mixed uses of "we" and "you".

I suspect he can't, either.

The word nuclear became the word of choice after the hydrogen bomb was developed. Whether the bomb is a simple uranium device, a more complicated plutonium one, or a hydrogen (fusion) bomb, "nuclear" is the correct word for either. "Nucular" is incorrect. Nuclear means that the reaction involves the nucleus of the atoms, as opposed to conventional bombs that use chemical reactions involving the electrons.

Oh Robert! This guy had me ROFLMAO at his first, or what should have been his first sentance: "You attack Islaam and Prophet Muhammad may peace be upon him you show him with a bomb on his head but he never bombed any bobdy"

I'm sure had the technology been available in the seventh century, there is no doubt Mo would have utilized it. Europe would have had a more difficult time repulsing the repulsive Mohammedan invaders.

Posted by: Shakey_Premise [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 15, 2008 11:30 AM

The hate-mailer is correct in that ole Mo never bombed anybody. (Only because he had no explosives.) He killed people the old fashioned way, one at a time, one on one. For people who are steeped in the past, they sure took to modern ways of murder rather eagerly.

They keep preaching the evils of modernity, but they don't have any problem using modern weapons, cell phones and the internet. Why is that?

If they would practice what they preach, this war would have lasted about an hour or so, with them using swords and spears against Apache helicopters.

geez

strike:

"...it was atomic -not nuclear bombs dropped."

insert:

"...it was 32-35 KILOtons total explosive power - not 10-11 MEGAtons total explosive power dropped."

Talk about Islamic atrocities it is estimated that 80 million Hindus were killed and thousands of Buddhists and Hindu monasteries and temples destroyed over the 1000 years of invasion into India by the Muslims.

Not to forget the onslaught by the Muslims into Christian civilization. Where ever you see there is utter chaos, violence, death and destruction, rape and molestation, in Islamic lands and a constant battle with lands that are owned by the free peoples of the world.

It is estimated that Muslim Jihad has slaughtered nearly 270 million free humans and by force converted many others.

Somehow all these facts are conveniently omitted and hidden from debate and discussion by this Muslim who wrote this hate email.

Posted by: savsiv [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 15, 2008 11:54 AM

That's a really long sentence. I wonder if he could say all that without pausing for a breath.

Had Mohammad had the knowledge of explosives, and some mechanization, a few tanks etc, the world might be far different than it is. Why Allah did not provide him with better technology is anyones guess. I am sure Allah knew about explosives, but neglected to tell Mohammad about it.
The world could have quickly come to Islam had Allah provided Mohammad with a few tanks. We would not be in this situation today with Islam, had Mohammad had some hand grenades, a few tanks, and some field artillery in his time. The world would be completely Islamic, and at total peace today...maybe...
Well Allah works in strange and mysterious ways, mostly strange and mysterious...

"if we showed Ronald Reagan with a bomb on his head or better yet George W Bush is that free speech..."

Why, yes--it would be free speech!

Note the misdirected anger. It belongs, by right, to Muslims' favorite "prophet" and to their Allah. They are the ones who gave the Ummah proscriptions against drawing likenesses of people or animals.

Muslims gnash their teeth at this. They can't, to quote the Stones, "get no satisfaction", by retaliating in kind.

Not that it would be easy, in the bomb-turban case. Bush doesn't wear a turban, nor did Reagan, that I'm aware of.

(Sounds of more teeth-gnashing)

Oh, me! Oh my! Even if such a renegade Muslim--one willing to sketch people-- could be found, he wouldn't understand satire, anyway. Poor, ever-frustrated slaves of Moha--Allah, I mean.

(gnash, gnash, gnash...)

As Robert's fan so forcefully demonstrates, as do billions of other examples, Islam is Muhammadanism.

That's why they get so enraged (I mean especially enraged, not just default-mode enraged) when you point it out to them.

Didn't Muhammad justify the use of catapaults in war against infidels, even though these engines of destruction didn't spare non-combatants?

Posted by: John C [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 15, 2008 2:50 PM

One often overlooked fact, though not lost on historians such as Stephen Ambrose,is that Japanese scientists were, at one point, ahead of the pace of the Manhattan project in developing their own A-bomb. This was a race between Imperial Japan,Nazi Germany and the US and no apology will be shall ever be necessary nor furnished for crossing the finish line first. This is why starting wars against technologically advanced cultures is problematic. This topic is creeping into the totalitarian playbook a bit more lately. (see Obama's pastor rev Wright's anti-US WWII bomb tirade along with his comments about "white European Italians",lol). While at it,let's go ahead revisit any military technological breakthroughs which turned tides in any war such as the Greek fire, the balestra, catapult, gunpowder and rewrite the conflicts the way they should have been fought.

A tactic which appears comical on the surface, but is dangerous and demands a challenging informative critique beneath.

savsiv,

Quite accurate,but surely those non-believers were offered a choice of conversion first,so they really have no one to blame but themselves and therefore the "pious" are exonerated. Allah has mandated so. (;

If you were looking for convincing proof that rational dialogue is unlikely to occur between Muslims and 'other worldviews', there it is.

Other than a dialogue which runs along the following lines:

"Embrace Islam, pay the Jizya or die"

followed by (in a very small voice)...

"OK"

"The books you show are trash they have know fact or truth"

It's the Koran he is referring to right.

The general view that we were the bad guys in WWII should be no surprise given the nature of our modern Public Education System.

Should we take the criticism of our first use of the A-Bomb to mean they would have preferred the other side to have has that Honor?
